Reviews mention

  • Elegant mesh aesthetics and colors
  • Luxe, soft tactile materials
  • Lightweight, barely-there comfort
  • Flattering balconette lift and shape
  • Inconsistent, unreliable sizing system
  • Premature band stretching durability
  • Strap slippage ergonomic problem
  • Thin mesh, minimal nipple coverage

CUUP earns mixed reviews: the brand delights many with chic, unlined mesh bras (notably the Balconette, Demi, Scoop, and Plunge) that feel light, luxe, and often invisible under clothes, yet reviews also flag inconsistent sizing, limited inclusivity, and durability issues like bands stretching and straps slipping. Fans praise elegant colors, soft materials, and comfortable support when the fit lands; detractors report underwire poking, minimal nipple coverage, flimsy underwear, and non-returnable knickers, making fit and fabric preferences crucial before buying.

  • I mourn this brand. I was aware of Cuup when it first launched. I really like the rhetoric of intentional releases and thoughtful colorways as a means of reducing excess inventory and waste. Since then, Cuup has become like any other, fast releases and constant super sales. I feel like the brand has lost some of its charm, personality, and durability. The bras are cute , but I'm not sure if I will buy too many more

  • CUUP is pretty much the only bra I've ever had that I haven't felt while I'm wearing it. The product feels very luxe and high quality and the overall brand experience and communication is top notch.

I haven't tried the type that has a bit more fabric/coverage but I would be eager to because the models I have are mesh which I like but don't work for every outfit.

  • The only bras I will wear! I love the balconette. They have fun colors and inclusive sizes and will even help you figure out the correct size! Easy exchanges also. For buying a bra online (which can be difficult) they make it easy! ATTN: I unfortunately have to edit my review:( It seems like these bras are just glued together?? This one just fell apart and customer service basically told me there is nothing they can do! I wouldn’t buy from them. Especially for the price! Get a solid bra that is SEWN together. Barely wore this bra!

  • I love the style of their bras, specially the balconette. However, they are not the most comfortable bras I have worn and can dig into the skin a bit during long wear. Would recommend on style alone!

  • I absolutely love the mesh bra and underwear that I have from them. I did get a hole in one of the pairs of underwear which wasn't great considering the price but they're still among my favorites to wear.

  • I love their balconette bra. I find that I am in between two sizes, but have some wear it stretches a little to be perfect.

  • I surprisingly really like all of the bras I bought from them. I bought a four pack with four different kinds and like wearing them all! This really took me off guard as I find bras extremely hard to buy for (as most women do). The Scoop bra sits really widely on my shoulders, slipping off a fair amount so those with more narrow shoulders might want to be mindful of that. For context, I have a larger bust and feel fully supported & covered!

  • I have a hard time finding bras that fit me since I’m on the smaller side. I really appreciate how there’s more cup shaped than just the traditional. That being said I was able to find one that actually fits w minimal gapping! I do wish they had options w a little padding but all around love them!

  • High-quality and consistent! Most of us want to have a few different styles of everyday bras that work for various everyday outfits. The great thing about CUUP is you can figure out which styles work for your body, and then just consistently wear and re-buy what works. Gone are the days of seeing what's at Nordstrom and hoping whatever new-fangled style works for my body only to discover most are ill-fitting or uncomfortable. These bras look good, feel good and fit well. They manage to be simple and comfortable, yet sexy as well. I'm sold for life.

The underwear is great as well in terms of fit, materials and style. A bit of a design flaw causes them to rip on the back seam a little bit, but honestly I'm still buying em despite that. They're that good.

  • if you’re all about comfort and luxury, this is your go to. I absolutely love the look, and I love the feel.

  • I love their mesh bras - they're so comfortable and silky soft, way more comfy than a traditional padded bra. These are pretty much all I wear. They're definitely on the pricier side, and for the price point I do wish they were a little more durable. I bought a few pairs and after about 8-9 months the bottom elastic was pulling away from the mesh on one, and one hook had fallen off the other. Given that I was wearing them very regularly, it's not that surprising that they wore out, but at the price point I would have liked at least a year of use out of them. Overall though I do think they were worth it for the comfort and ease of everyday wear.

  • Absolutely love their sizing but the bra is not meant to last more than a year which is upsetting.

  • Liked / didn't love. I think this might be better for more buxom ladies. I felt that that was why my fit wasn't for good. I kept one of them that was a little thicker, maybe two layers of mesh. That said, I really don't want to wear any wire bras ever!

  • I got a few pairs of the modal thongs (this was before they started selling the cotton ones so I'm curious to try those out) which I found to be cute and comfortable but one of them ripped not even a year after purchase. Wholly unimpressed with the quality of these. In terms of bras, back in 2019 when the company was still quite small I went to their office to try some of the bras on. It was my mistake for not realizing that their sizing was American so all of their 30G's (that's my size in UK/EU sizing) were too small. They told me that they planned on expanding their sizing eventually to include 30I, my American size, and lo and behold six years later it never happened. There might be so many reasons for why it never happened but I would've rather they had been more honest about the possibility of that size becoming a reality. I did get a great tote from them though that they gave me as a consolation.

  • Was not that comfy and was not a very flattering shape in my opinion. The strap ripped too soon after I bought the bra

  • The bras are beautiful and the fit was as expected, but I don’t like the mesh material. It’s too thin to wear everyday or under a shirt for work - does not cover up nipping at all (unfortunately)!

  • Straps are comfy, bra cups are not as supportive as I'd hoped. Also the lack of lining might not be everyone's cup of tea when wearing thin t-shirts. The colors are lovely, but the bra feels insubstantial.

  • Although I wish they made an option with slightly more padding, these are my go-to bras and undies. Super comfortable, great colors, simple options on website, cute packaging with the cotton bag. Lately now I just buy them on sale though. Also I think I’d like the swim offerings more if they offered an option that caters to us Hawaii ladies who like skimpy bottoms!

  • I really like the concept and the ads! i tried two of their bras, one worked really well (the balconette), the other was ok! The material itself is soft and meshy, the straps could be slightly thicker, and the band could be less "plasticky." The colors for the matching sets are very neutral, and I am a big fan! Their returns process was super easy too.

I wish they had more styles and / or updates to their existing styles. I am a fan!

  • Very elegant bra. One of the first bras I would have wanted and felt good to wear. However, since they're unlined fit is a lot more important and my size fluctuates a bit so I am not confident I'm wearing quite the right size.
