Have you ever wanted to scrub your body with a canvas sack? No? Then chelle is not for you. Even if you DO want to scrub your body with a canvas sack, you could do that for $1, not $30 or whatever the full price is for this product. In the world where you could indulge in a lovely scented body scrub for about eight bucks at target, is chelle really just trying to un-fun self care?

It was just okay! I think the mit worked well, but the bar did almost nothing.

Feedback

The product formula doesn’t go in skin super easy, it felt pretty dry and chalky.

Experience

The mitt worked really well to exfoliate the dead skin off and was larger than other ones I've used so I was able to fit my hand in comfortably. The exfoliation bar is a bit difficult to use and I couldn't get it onto the mitt to exfoliate. I'm not sure if I was just using it wrong or if it was the product. I ended up just using some bar soap with the exfoliation mitt and that worked great to make my skin super smooth.

My overall experience was just okay. The texture of the product is rather odd. It kind of flaked off in chunks. The pouch that is to be used to exfoliate with the product is not inviting enough to use on your skin. It also doesn't dry well.

Feedback

Maybe it's just me, but this was just okay.

Experience

I’ve only used the product twice so far, so this review is based on my initial impression. Echoing some of the other reviewers’ comments on the product design. The mitt is loose and the stone is small, so the mitt tends to bunch up or fall of your hand when you’re trying to get product on it. The mitt is also quite large, so I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to try to rub the stone all over the mitt or if it was better to concentrate in one area. At first, I was impressed by what I thought was dead skin being rubbed off, but I haven't experienced that just-exfoliated-smoothness after drying off. So not sure how effective it really is yet, but feel like I’ve had quicker, cheaper, and less ‘labor intensive’ results by dry brushing as my exfoliation method.

Feedback

With some tweaks, I think this could be a nice option for someone looking for gentle exfoliation. I will say that the actual price, though, is quite steep for the amount of product, especially when there are so many options on the market.

I've had dry skin on my legs and ingrown hairs my entire life. Never found a solution until now with Chelle body. Using this product has been a blessing for me. No more dry skin (it rolls right off using the mitt/tablet) and therefore MUCH less ingrown hairs so far! I'm assuming the ingrown leg hairs will become a total thing of the past once I use this product consistently. Love this....

Experience

I *really* wanted to like this product. I'm always in the market for a new body exfoliator and this one seemed fun/I really liked the simplicity and company message. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. I've used it about 3 times now and the exfoliating stone has all but disintegrated from trying to rub it on the mitt. Also, seconding the complaints about it not actually sloughing off the dead skin; it's just the remnants of the product coming off the mitt. Speaking of the mitt, I wish it was a little more secure when using it, like include a tie at the bottom or make it actually mitten shaped. Again, I really wanted to like this product and I'll continue to use the canvas mitt in like a loofah situation with soap, but I won't be purchasing more stones. There's better/cheaper body exfoliators out there.

I think this exfoliation kit is great for sensitive skin! It’s true that it’s hard to tell that the stone is actually rubbing off on the mit, but with some elbow grease you will see it on the mit and you can tell it’s there by the slight smell of the oils. I’ve already recommended this to a friend who also has sensitive skin. The instructions are also very clear, so I’m not sure what other reviewers want when it comes to that.

Experience

I've been looking to start exfoliating more regularly and was really excited to try this product, however I am not really impressed. I felt like it was extremely hard to get the exfoliating stone to rub off onto the mitt and I'm unsure if the product was even effective. So far this is the only Thingdrop that I have regretted

Experience

The product was fine, not anything great. I had done some research on the website prior to using it, so I understood the process & found it easy to use. Just not sure it did anything. One "exfoliating stone" only lasting for eight uses doesn't sound incredibly beneficial to the user. I will however be keeping the mitt. Even at that I believe there are better exfoliators out there, and wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Feedback

Bigger and/or softer exfoliating stone? I couldn't even tell if I was getting any of the stone on the mitt. It was just very hard to gauge whether or not the product did anything, and I think that kind of speaks for itself.
