Briogeo earns strong reviews for effective scalp-care and deep-conditioning—Scalp Revival charcoal scrub and Don’t Despair, Repair! mask frequently leave hair cleaner, softer, and more manageable—yet the brand is inconsistent for frizz control and some formulas feel thin or drying. Reviews also note polarizing scents (from subtle to overpowering rose), tricky tub packaging and sprayer nozzles, and reports of recent formula changes and occasional irritation.

There has not been a Briogeo product that has let me down. My favorite of all time is their hair mask but their superfoods line is also very good and smells amazing!
The Briogeo Superfoods Açaí and Passionfruit Lightweight Hydration Hair Mask is a solid choice for those with fine hair like mine or to medium hair seeking hydration without heaviness. Its clean formulation and pleasant scent add to its appeal. I thought I was not going to like the tropical fragrance because it has passionfruit but the açaí berries make it smell not to sour and for me the hair mask scent doesn't stay a long time in my hair when I washed it out. The chai scented hair mask I have lasted about two days in my hair, not like this, which is a plus if you're a person that doesn't want the scent to linger. The hair mask did a decent job at softening my ends of my hair and gave hydration without
The charcoal + tea tree exfoliating scrub is my holy grail hair product. It provides serious relief to my scalp that even some prescription-grade products haven't.

The quality of at least one hair mask has changed. Instead of their Don't Despair Repair mask, I now use a repairing/hydrating mask from Bondi Boost, which I find to be much more effective.
Best dry shampoo I've ever used! I love that it's non-aerosol, has clean ingredients, and never leaves my hair feeling like there's residue. I use it for no-wash days and sometimes even on clear hair for added volume. Their exfoliating shampoo and conditioner are also incredible and really do leave my hair and scalp feeling refreshed. Its a bit pricey for daily use but I usually keep some on hand for occasional use when I feel like I need a deep clean.
Absolutely love the Rosehip + Alga Deep Conditioning Mask, makes my hair feel so smooth and luxurious.
I love their "Don't despair, repair" line - I've gotten a bunch of travel sizes in Sephora GWP and Ipsy and I love to have them ready for my guests to try as well. I want to also venture out to try the curly line but I haven't seen as many opportunities to test them.

I saw a few of their sub pages lead to error 404 pages which was kind of hard to then navigate (wanted to buy the travel pouches but I think they are sold out or it's an old promo or something)? But no website can ever be perfect so no big deal!
I love their curly hair line and repairing oils for color and heat damaged hair. Someone recommended the oil as a dupe for the OLAPLEX one, which I do not find is a dupe exactly but I often think it worked better! I have not tried many items in this brand, but for the ones I have they have shown great results.

It is a bit of a higher price point, but not far off from other salon quality advertised hair lines.

Amazing, especially the curl products. The scents are amazing too - always get compliments when I use their leave-in.

Wish the packaging was more eco-friendly
Outside of Ouai, I had been using Briogeo for quite a few years and genuinely loved it. The smell(s) are some of the best and you can feel the nourishment applied to your roots. Love that it's natural and left me with no side effects given my sensitive skin.
I tried a mini version of the Don't Despair, Repair deep conditioning mask, and it was decent! There wasn't anything particularly bad about it. My hair felt pretty soft after using it. I just personally think there are better products out there that leave my hair feeling softer, shinier, and are better for helping with frizz for my wavy/curly hair. This was nothing super special for me. I wouldn't repurchase this conditioning mask, but it's worth trying it out if you're curious about the brand and want to see what it does for your hair type.
I believe they have changed the formula of their Don't despair mask? It still works for my frizzy hair though! So still recommend it. I also love and recommend the Charcoal hair scrub, it gently exfoliates and foams into a beautiful cleansing shampoo, love it for cleansing the scalp!

High quality hair products worth the money. One of my favorite products is the dry shampoo, but love their shampoo & conditioners as well. A little pricey, but excellent quality.
I have tried several products from briogeo and they all are amazing and smell soo nice!
Love this brand! I use their curl cream and it works so well!
Tried their 'Don't Despair Repair' deep conditioning mask and leave-in treatment and both worked great on my Asian hair. These products left them softer after a few uses, and long term I did notice less split ends. It's a bonus that the smell of these products aren't too strong or overpowering. Compared to other drugstore brands, this was definitely worth the money.
I think this is a solid product, but I didn't get stellar results compared to using more cost-effective products. I found that the farewell frizz line, unfortunately, did not help me say farewell to my frizz. That being said, I appreciate being able to buy huge sizes of products, so you don't have to refill and waste packaging as frequently. Smells really nice.

I am happy to use it while I have it, but I am planning to switch to another brand when I run out.

The Briogeo hair mask works wonders for my hair. It smells fantastic and deep conditions my hair well. My hair feels so much smoother and more manageable when I use it. My hair is stronger and less prone to breakage too.
Great product if you want healthy hair

So, the rose scented mask is too strong for me and although I had great results (a year or so ago), it made me sneeze like crazy and I decided it wasn't worth it. The green slim shampoo conditioner pair was just ok. A hair dresser told me the banana ones would be best for me, but the briogeo smell I couldn't get over - I did try the banana ones from sunbum and those are ok for cheaper brands. The green hair mask is great. Thin oily hair. The mint charcoal shampoo scrub in the jar smells like girl scout thin mints and I use for dandruff control instead of prescription level stuff.
