Rothy’s earns largely positive reviews for comfortable, machine‑washable shoes that look polished, hold up for years, and showcase sustainable materials, while feedback flags inconsistent sizing, narrow toe boxes, thin soles, and minimal arch support. Reviews of Rothy’s highlight standout styles like The Point, ballet flats, loafers, drivers, slip‑on and lace‑up sneakers, and clogs; buyers praise durability and versatility but caution about odor retention, fit variability, and limited options for wide feet.

I love the slip-on sneakers - I have them in multiple colors and they are a great addition to my casual wardrobe. I also have other styles of the rothys including the loafers which are great for work. Rothys are an essential part of my daily footwear!

Super lightweight, stretchy, fun styles, colors, and patterns! Can run more barrow, but the fabric is forgiving for bunions and such. Note that the sole is very thin, which can be a plus or a minus. Not for rainy days.

Love the concept, but the shoes have very narrow toe boxes to the point where it was causing me significant nail pain. This was both with the ballet flat and also the slip on loafer. I have normal width feet and haven’t had this issue with any other shoe brand.

I do like my Rothy's Mary Janes! I have them in red and they add a nice pop of color to every outfit. This is old news but my one issue with the brand is their sizing. Luckily there are physical locations that you can try things on at, but my experience was confusing. I've had employees suggest different sizes. One employee really tried to get me to purchase a size that was uncomfortable, just because it's what the brand overall recommends. While I like the style of shoe and the options, I still feel like they need to standardize the shoe sizing or how their size chart/employees do fittings.

The shoes are so cute and they’re all made from recycled/repurposed plastic. I bought my mom a pair for our Portugal trip and she loved them. She suffers from swollen feet and aching legs but said that her Rothy’s were genuinely comfortable and had no problem walking several miles a day in them. Unfortunately, I have hyperhydrosis and because of the plastic, Rothy’s shoes were not a good fit for me. They’re not super breathable and tended to trigger my hyperhydrosis more. So, I really think it’s a hit or miss depending on the person, therefore a midpoint rating of 3 stars
Flexible shoes made from sustainable materials but rather on the expensive side. I love the look of the Square Mary Jane in black, but this isn't my go-to shoe company as they don't offer half-sizes or good arch support.
I like them in theory, but the size is off (mine are quite tight) and I don’t really like the design. A friend gave them as a gift, but I don’t find myself gravitating to them often.
One of my favorite pairs of shoes to wear! My mom and I both have multiple pairs (our favorite weekend trips are to their Larchmont store in LA) and the high top sneaker is a must have! I don't think we could take a picture of all of our Rothy shoes if we tried!
Huge fan I like that they offered a teacher and nurse discount . I would not wear these walkiing in Europe, but they are great for work and for small distances when you want to look classy and cute

I hate shopping for work clothing and shoes but Rothy’s has made it easy with their line of simple flats, loafers, and sneakers that I can almost pass off as business casual wear. My favorite part is that I can drop these in the washing machine once a month and both my pairs have lasted well over two years already! Super innovative and love this brand!
love looove rothys! at first, what caught my eye was the shoes were from recycled water bottles! That is so cool, I ended up getting the slip-on shoes. Its become my daily wear, I've gotten my friends and family into rothys and they love it as well.
I'm loving this! Sure, they can be a bit pricey, and I feel like they've upped their prices since my last shoe purchase. But I absolutely adore my pair, and I'm confident you will too!
Unimpressed! I can only review Rothy's based on my experience with the product I bought, but maybe some of their newer products like sneakers don't have this issue, so take it with a grain of salt! I bought their original flats years ago when that was their only product. Though flexible, the fabric was very rough and caused blisters on several toes.
I love my Rothy. They are super comfortable and absolutely worth the price. I spent a lot of time on my feet as a teacher and not only are they comfy with her completely washable. Mini styles, and colors to choose.
These are so great. Comfy, stylish, and just go with so many different looks. Turned my mom into them and she’s bought multiple pairs as well
I really love my Rothy's. I have 2 pairs and they hold up well (they're the sneaker with no laces in cheetah and black). I love how they wash and everything. The one thing is they are not SUPER comfortable. I wish I could get more supportive inserts because they do hurt when wearing for a while. I'd love to try their bags though.

Love the other bags and products they have been coming out with.

I was so excited to try the original Rothys, but found the pairs that I got- the classic pointy toe, tried 3 different sizes- quite uncomfortable and didnt stay on well on my wide foot.
I wanted to like these and I gave it an honest shot, but ultimately I don’t think these are a good investment. The price point is so high and I never found them to be comfortable at all! Maybe my bad experience is from the strange sizing of the pointed flats, but regardless of the weird length issue, the soles are thin, flat, and hard. I’m not sure the current price range, but when I purchased mine they were $145+. They never have sales and popular colors sell out quickly. I ended up selling mine on and not repurchasing.
3/5 is a 'just okay' rating and that's exactly how I feel. I sweat in my feet so the shoes got pretty gross after just a few wears (so if you do that too, you'll have to wear invisible liner socks or just be okay washing your shoes very often).
I've owned two pairs of The Point over the years, the original and The Point II. I love and use them both. Pros: Sustainable, long-wearing and machine washable. Cons: The inserts get smelly fast, so you have to wash regularly. They are not cushioned at all, so they're not the most comfortable shoes. I size up a half size and that helps. I have worn my Rothy's for probably 5x as long as similar leather flats and don't have to deal with scuffing or going to the cobbler and I get the same look. Great for work or play.
