  • I have 4 pairs of the point, 2 pairs of the sneakers, and a pair of the drivers. I love all of them. They're super comfortable (once you get the right size), and I love their mission. I will say I've been a little bummed with how quickly their soles tend to wear down. I've had mine for a few years, and some of them are nearly worn through on the bottom. I also don't think they can be resoled because of the way they're made. Because of their price point, I usually wait for them to go on sale, or I ask for them as gifts. I've also given them as gifts to friends and family members, and everyone loves them. I've also had an issue with not ordering the right size a couple of times, and their customer support has been really great. They use Happy Returns too, so it's really easy to return them if you need to!

  • Love the slip on sneakers the most but also have the point, the loafer, and the driving shoe. The only drawback is the cost.

  • Love their concept and their commitment to creating products from recycled plastic. I ordered a pair of their shoes. It looks great for the office, but I have wide feet and they start to hurt after some time. Also, it's advertised as washable but I felt like I had to wash them after a couple of wears to make sure it didn't smell bad.

  • Love the brand mission of recycled fibers. I have the flats from them and they are so comfortable and easy to throw in a bag for backup shoes. Since they are flats I still do get tired feet at the end of the day but that would be with any flat. I wish there was more arch support but idk how they would easily do that in such a lightweight shoe. I also wish these were cheaper, as I was able to use a healthcare discount on them

  • Absolutely love the pointed flat. I have 2 pairs. They have changed the fit a little to where they are bit more flexible so I like them even more.

They could lower the price point $20 and still have good profit margins and probably sell even more. I only buy them when I have a coupon.

  • Light weight, comfortable to wear, beautiful design, sustainable materials, easy to clean.

Some sizing is off- runs small. These shoes are not very friendly to sweaty feet- they don't breathe very well.

  • I have had my ballet flat Rothy's for over 5 years. They never gave me blisters and needed no breaking in period. I have washed them multiple times a year and the shape and color are still great.

  • I got a pair of the lace up sneakers for a recent trip to New Zealand and Australia since they would be easy to pack and I needed a cute shoe for all the walking. I was surprised at how comfortable they were! If you’re going to be walking a lot, you definitely need to wear socks to avoid blisters.

  • I wanted to love these. Shoes made from recycled plastic? I bought the rounded toe and the point. The sides were great, never chaffing or rubbing. The part on the ankle was sturdy but soft, no blister. They really are machine washable and come out looking new. But, in the rounded and pointed toe - the right size (they run a tad small), there is zero give in the toe. I thought continued wear would stretch them a bit, but it never did. My toenails actually ached at the end of the day.

  • I love my Rothys! As a teacher who spends a ton of time outside on the playground, my shoes get stinky and dirty....fast.. Being able to throw these in the wash is a game changer! The only negative is the lack of arch support; my feet can ache if I'm wearing these standing for long periods of time. These aren't exactly hiking shoes! But I love my Rothys, and have recommended them to lots of friends!

  • I was first attracted to the brand because of it's mission to reduce or eliminate plastic from the ocean. I have wide feet so the points are not as comfortable as the Flats which are the rounded toe flats. My favorite are the Drivers which are stylish and go with practically anything you want to wear. They are always inventing new styles and I love the variety of colors. They tend to be on the pricey side but you can wait for sales or they have sales on the styles that they are trying to get rid of.

  • Great shoes. They really are washable and come out looking brand new every time! I find them TTS.

  • I tried both the sneakers and men's loafers. The loafers are fantastic. They are comfortable to wear to and from the office as well as all day. I have received a ton of compliments on them and have been able to wear them with different styles of outfits and in a number of settings. The best part is that they are machine washable. Will definitely be buying more in other colors. The sneakers have a narrow fit and weren't comfortable even while sitting down in them.

The comfort of the sneakers could have been better. I knew after wearing them for 15-20 minutes indoors that I need to return them. I would recommend sizing up when looking at any Rothy products and see if you can find a store to try them on.

  • I've had my black pointed-toe ballet flats for over 4 years and they're still one of my favorite pairs of shoes for work. They're incredibly comfortable and look brand new as soon as I clean them in the washing machine. I've convinced so many of my friends to purchase a pair and am tempted to start a collection with all the color options they have. My feet tend to sweat in them more than other shoes, but it doesn't both me because I can clean them so easily.

  • Overall really love this brand, it's the first place I go when I look for dress shoes.

Price point makes it an occasional buy rather than a normal buy.

  • So overpriced, but I do love my sesame driving loafers. They are surprisingly comfy and I wear them often. I do worry about the durability of this loafer style given the thinness of the sole...but only time will tell. I also truly don't think they're worth the money -- that being said they can definitely become a wardrobe staple for those who aren't price sensitive. My Rothy's loafers are unique, stylish, versatile, and comfy!

Should offer options for wide feet. I have wide feet and you can see the outline of the inside edge of my feet through my loafers. I don't like how loud and prominent the branding is on some of their styles -- the blue stripe on the back of their classic styles are unattractive to me. I get the need for branding, but perhaps there are more tasteful ways to do so.

  • I went to the Rothy's store because I've heard mixed reviews on sizing. I ended up with the Loafer style, the popular Point style felt like they were going to slip off. I'm very happy with my Loafers and wear them for everyday commuting.

  • Wasn’t too impressed with these for the price point. Support wasn’t what I was looking for — definitely a fun looking shoe but not one I kept because I couldn’t wear it for long periods of time.

  • I can't believe that I put off trying these for so long. I bought a pair of the round-toed flats (camel-colored) and I am so glad I did. They are stretchy and comfortable. The fabric is easy to clean and take along on any trip.

    Feedback

I wish there was a bit more arch support.

  • I bought these for my mom she hated them, said no support at all. So I took them and I’m not as old and I have to agree. They are comfortable but def not to be worn if walking any kind of distance at all. Car to desk where u sit all day. Around house as slippers. However if you need no support at all, then these are great. Extremely comfortable.
