quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

When it comes down to this, it's a great brush if you're traveling a lot for the convenience and great design, but it just doesn't hold up performance-wise to like a Sonicare or something similar

Would love a more substantial version for home maybe and the current one be positioned more as a travel brush.
Swing and a miss! I love the way this product looks, but it underperforms. The bristles are far too stiff so they don't even get around teeth properly. Ultimately I'm waiting for a Kickstarter toothbrush to come through that's more sustainable =P It's also nice that it has a battery vs a charger, making it easy to travel with.

Make a toothbrush with softer bristles and a circular rotating head and I'm in!
Quip has definitely upgraded my oral care routine. The sleek, travel-friendly design and timed vibrations make brushing feel more intentional and effective. I also love the subscription model, it takes the guesswork out of replacing brush heads and floss. That said, I wish the toothbrush had a bit more power or customization in settings. It's a great tool for everyday care, just shy of perfect for those who prefer a more intense clean. Still, it’s a solid 4-star experience I’d recommend to anyone looking to simplify and elevate their routine.
I’ve used a Quip as my travel toothbrush for years and have been very happy with it. Battery life is excellent. It’s very easy to get new brush heads, and at a reasonable price.
Bought the tooth brush and floss while out of town. Love both.
Had the most cavities after using this for a year
like the subscription refill model and the design (no charger) but all it does is vibrate and i'd rather use an electric toothbrush that circles. stopped using after my dentist told me the bristles were too hard so I switched to a soft-bristled toothbrush
I have tried the basic battery powered toothbrush. I began using it as my daily but now it is my travel brush. The packable small profile makes it perfect for traveling. It has lasted at least a year without battery replacement. I switched to a Foreo brush but I like them equally for form & function.
I love love love my quip! I've had it for years and my dentist always praises me for my dental hygiene. The only thing that is not so great is that sometimes water gets trapped in the little crevice where the toothbrush comes apart so you can change the battery and the inside can get moldy if you aren't diligent about cleaning it. Other than that I love this product!

Loved the idea of quit. It served as purpose and was a hand carry around kind of electric toothbrush after using for several months, I found that it was not getting my teeth as clean as a regular electric toothbrush, and I found changing the brush attachment, frustrating and irritating.
The auto refill brush head feature is nice, but these do not clean nearly as well as other toothbrushes on the market. Very low powered and my teeth do not feel clean after use, even after brushing two or three times.
This is fine! I do like that the floss is refillable and cuts down on plastic, but I find that the floss itself is really flimsy and breaks apart between my teeth easily.
I bought the quip floss pick as I hated continuously throwing out the 1 time use plastic ones and loved the idea of a reusable and more sustainable option. Although the idea is excellent, I did not like the product at all. First of all it was massive and hard to manuever between teeth. The floss never stayed in place and I honestly coudn't even use it.
Obsessed with Quip! My dentist started using this product after she couldn't get over how amazingly clean my entire mouth was! I'll never use any other kind of toothbrush!
Great for travel, wouldn't use at home. It's not as powerful as a regular electric toothbrush. I like the subscription model--definitely need the brush heads replaced regularly.
I have a Quip toothbrush (battery operated, not rechargable) and the reusable flosser. I love the toothbrush but I find the flosser a little painful and cumbersome. That being said, I do like the floss itself and just use it on its own! I love the toothbrush because it is powerful and very easy to travel with.

Really feels like they focus more on making products that look good on Instagram rather than making products that actually improve your dental health. I liked the gum holder and floss string; they were well made and super portable. The floss pick was not well made and fell apart almost immediately, and the electric toothbrush just vibrates? Sure it's nice that syncs to my phone, but otherwise adds absolutely nothing to my dental health.
My son uses the kids toothbrush. The sleek design is great for kids. It’s easy for my son to hold and maneuver; however, the vibration is less than impressive. Not sure that it cleans better than a regular toothbrush, but it does provide a “fun” element for him, and encourages him to brush regularly. The reusable floss pick is great for kids. We always had a hard time trying to floss the back molars using regular floss, but the pick makes it a lot easier. Love the concept of reusable floss pick but the design is a little bulky.
It’s my new travel toothbrush. I think the electric component doesn’t necessarily clean my teeth better than a rotating electric toothbrush or one where the head moves- this one just vibrates
Way better than I anticipated. They dont make you buy a charging stand, which in itself makes me trust the brand so much more. Love love love these toothbrushes. Wish I had bought one ages ago.
