quip Reviews

3.5

quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • Both my husband and I have used the quip toothbrush with the subscription replacement heads. I moved onto a sonic toothbrush but my husband still uses his for travel. Overall i think its an OK toothbrush but nothing amazing. I also got the refillable floss which was a real disappointment. The floss just didn't stay tight enough in the holder and i would have to replace it 3 or so times just to floss my mouth.

  • Listen, I was a fan until I used this for a while. Do I love water flossing? Yes. Does this work…for a minute. Is the product faulty? Absolutely. My main issue is that they HAD a lifetime guarantee when we purchased our flossers. Now they suddenly don’t? One major pain point is that the little cap that goes over the water tank constantly breaks. Also the bottoms rust easily. Mostly I just feel like if you offer a guarantee, you can’t just suddenly say…just kidding. I would stick to waterpik and sonic for flossers and toothbrushes. Not happy.

  • While I love the case, packaging and idea behind this product, I just found it to be difficult to use. It was hard to reach the back areas of my teeth and didn't feel that useful for actually getting into the grooves of my teeth

  • it's a fine toothbrush but no better than a store bought electric toothbrush (and much worse than, for instance, a philips sonicare). if your main priority is the aesthetics of your toothbrush, then go for it. otherwise it was not worth it for me.
