  • I just got the entryway rack in black and I really love how it looks in my entryway! It has plenty of space for shoes and other stuff but it is still streamlined and simple enough for any decor style or space. I also found assembly to be pretty easy and I like the way it looks when covered in my stuff. ** Bumping to 4 stars! I originally left a 3 star review due to bubbles in the paint that I worried would cause faster chipping or wear but I have now had it for 8 months and it is holding up nicely. Obviously I’d prefer a more perfect paint job but overall the quality is good and it’s held up to everyday use without any chipping or flaking.

Improve paint job through better methods or better quality control measures.

  • Big fan of the open spaces brand. If you're into organization and modern design or the Scandinavian/ minimalist aesthetic, then their products are for you.

Would love a version of the entryway rack where the handle at the top is detachable. Also would be great to find you in my local Container Store or Target! Also had some minor hiccups with product quality. E.g., the entryway rack arrived with some small dings, and customer service offered a discount on our next purchase which seems a bit backward. Either way, I'm assuming this is something that will get worked out over time.

  • I've bought a few products from Open Spaces and overall happy with my experience. The materials, design, and quality are all great.

I originally ordered the under bed storage and had issues with the tops actually fitting on the containers. Customer service was quick to help out although they were back-ordered and the problem still existed in the replacements. They offered a discount if we wanted to keep them which we did.

  • Purchased the baby pink entryway rack and storage baskets, they’re really good quality with super minimal aesthetic.

    Feedback

Price point is quite high for such a simplistic design.

  • Beyond the calming and sleek design of their products, I like how many of them can be repurposed in different ways. For example, I’ve purchased several different color ways of the nesting trays. I love using them to jazz up the kitchen sink area (to hold soap and sponges). They’re also great for bedside tables too. For friends who just started WFM I gifted them the shelf risers because they work really well for laptop stands/make your own standing desk. I use their write baskets next to my desk to hold notebooks or pantry items. Overall good quality and thoughtful design. Everything is is neatly packaged when it’s shipped, so not a lot of bulk.

  • I have the following products from Open Spaces: - Entrywall Rack - Bins (All sizes, with lids and without) - Baskets All their products are really nicely made. I love the soft corners of their products that make it aesthetically warm and pleasing. While I love the baskets and the leather detailing, I think the bins are just ok. They're plastic and at $54 for two medium bins, it's not the best value. Also the lids just rest on the top, there's no ample closing/suction/lock mechanic.

  • after seeing a gajillion IG ads for the shoe rack and bins for years, I finally pulled the trigger and bought via their Instagram offers. (It ended up being marked down to about $100 vs. $190!) I ordered the powder blue and it shows a lot of dings and scratches. My first order came really bent and warped, though easy to install. I got the small bins and they are extremely tiny-- wish I had gotten the medium. They kindly replaced it, so A+ on customer service. My second order game undamaged but VERY difficult to install/screw together. It is still a little rickety. I like it, but I do feel really silly for spending so much on a shoe rack. It's not super sturdy, or durable... but it definitely is good looking. If you feel like you *have* to have this after seeing it everywhere, my recommendations are to buy it on sale and to buy a darker color, and to save your money on the small bins-- you can find cheaper ones that are just as cute and high quality elsewhere :)

  • This brand is SO expensive. I received the nesting trays as a gift, and do like them. Still, I cannot comprehend why anyone would buy products firsthand from Open Spaces.

  • I’ve purchased their storage bins in size small and nesting trays - they both look sleek, high quality, and sturdy. They color and look are very true to the pictures on their website. I will say that I don’t think I would purchase at the full price (I got them both on sale).

  • I have had my entryway rack for at least three years at this point, and it's holding up well! It houses a few pair of shoes for each family member. I appreciate the design and my husband appreciates that it is neither plastic nor pressboard. It also cleans up well. I would definitely consider purchasing another one in a different color for a different part of the house. On the downside, it has never been balanced correctly, so that the top two shelves (especially the top one) feel a bit wobbly no matter how I adjust it.

  • Pretty entryway rack! Expensive....But really nice looking and fits a fair amount of things!

  • I am an organization FREAK, and Open Spaces delivers. I love the entryway organizer / shoe rack, and I have lots of storage baskets. I accidentally ordered a basket size that is too large for my space, and when I asked if I could return it, their customer service team said, given the pandemic, they'd rather I donate the item than spend time at the post office. Have you ever known a company to respond that way?! Dreamy.

    More products please.

  • The products are really well made, and more stylish than the normal container store etc options. The storage boxes made of felt are sturdy and repel water and dirt.

The prices are higher than I would like, and seem high for the category.

  • Really like my Open Space's stand and tray as I use it as a book shelf.

    Feedback

It took a while to put together and the pieces didn't all fit together very well but I improvised and it looks fine in my room.

  • I have Open Spaces baskets, bins, and racks in my house and I love them so much. They're well made and I really love the materials and colors. It's a big upgrade from the same old Ikea stuff you see everywhere.

  • I don't know. I bought some shelves and they work and seemed high quality. It is though their stuff is for minimalists who deign to organize, and not a person interested in design with actual stuff to organize.

  • I have it in black in my room. It is used up with shoeboxes of memories and photographs, a mid century modern lamp, and shoes.

    Feedback

    Brilliant design.

  • I've only tried out the bins and trays, but I wouldn't recommend either. They look nice but they're of a noticeably poor quality. The lids are made from a very cheap softwood and don't nest very well in the plastic bins. The trays don't actually nest perfectly, and the wood one looks like something a student might've carved in shop class. They do look nice, but you'd be better off just looking at Container Store or Target, especially considering the price.

Need massive improvement in quality or an equally large discount, because they aren't worth the money right now.

  • I have two of the large felt storage bins. They have held up for several years now, still looking brand new. They hold a lot, and are a lot more aesthetically pleasing than a lot of other storage containers on the market. I love that they have a wood lid too, I feel it is very chic.

  • Super cute in my apartment and makes for a better way to store away my shoes out in the open.
