  • Chic minimalist packaging presentation
  • Gentle sensitive-skin-friendly formulas

  • Fast-absorbing hydrating body serum
  • Inconsistent lathering body wash
  • Underwhelming deodorant performance reports
  • Subtle or odd fragrance execution

Nécessaire earns mixed reviews: many say the body care works and feels luxurious—especially The Body Wash (Eucalyptus, Sandalwood), Body Exfoliator, Body Serum, and select deodorants—while others find formulas average for the hype. Strengths include chic, functional packaging and gentle, sensitive‑skin‑friendly formulas; weaknesses include scents that fade or skew odd, variable lather/hydration, smaller sizes that empty quickly, and some products (deodorant, haircare, body serum) underperforming or irritating for certain users.

  • A little pricey but The Body Serum one of the best body products I've used. Hydrating, absorbs quickly, and leaves a clean finish on skin that's not sticky. I do like to follow up with a separate moisturizer. The unscented feature of the product is another plus here. You can use your preferred (scented or not) product after. Received the Eucalyptus Set as a gift and enjoyed the products in that as well. Scent isn't overpowering and products work well.

  • I purchased the body wash & lotion & love both products. They feel like luxury products at a better price. The packaging is also super nice quality. A little goes a long way, so these products will last a good amount of time.

  • I like the body wash and body cream.

I wish they had a better price point/more eco friendly packaging. Seems a bit high for what it is.

  • I love the packaging and ingredients of this brand. It has a good price point, and does what it claims to. The scents are all incredible as well.

The body wash is so small that it runs out super fast, it also doesn't lather super well and doesn't leave my skin feeling very hydrated. The body lotion is good but I really wish it came in a pump for easier use, and I wish it came in the scents offered for the other products!

  • Necessaire is a must-have for anyone who values high-quality, effective skincare! Their products are luxurious yet simple, with clean ingredients that leave my skin feeling soft, nourished, and rejuvenated. The body wash, lotion, and deodorant are especially amazing—gentle but effective. I also love that the brand is focused on sustainability and clean beauty. Every product feels like a little self-care ritual, and I’m completely hooked!

  • Product tried: The deodorant gel in Eucalyptus 🌿🌿🦨 I have tried many many "clean" deodorants and Necessaire's may be up to tackle even the stinkiest and seatiest friends. The smell is great, and the glass packaging is a major plus for me. I enjoy the roll on application rather than the deoderant where you kinda push it through tiny holes ( you know what I mean). This deodarant works best on freshly clean skin and needs a few minutes to dry down before putting on clothing. This is not great for mid-day touch ups!!! If you have long body hair, give it a little trim before using this deoderant as the roller ball and get caught on hair. 💦🦨💦🦨💦🦨💦🦨💦 4 stars, due to it being not good for touch ups

  • I purchased Necessaire due to targeted ads and social media hype, however, the items did not live up to their competitors and I will not purchase again. The body wash, deodorant and scalp treatment were not as luxe as presented and did not feel "special" compared to similar products. Glad I tried but will not be a repeat customer.

  • Nécessaire's body exfoliator has made a noticeable difference when I have an intermittent KP flareup. The fragrance-free formula doesn't compete with my perfume, and it doesn't leave my shower looking messy. Appreciate that they're carbon-neutral and transparent about their supply chain. Ideal for winter!

  • I would like to say, that I wish all shampoo bottles open them where an easy twist. I also like the idea, of not wasting products by spilling them, you easily twist the nozzle again to close. When opening up the rosemary shampoo, you get the strong aroma of rosemary mint. In my opinion, I like the scent, but it's on the stronger side. I thought it was going to tingle my eyes, or burn my scalp due to the scent, but I can say my eyes didn't tear at all. I noticed the shampoo, did clean my scalp, by taking some of my dandruff away and giving my scalp a cooling sensation. When I was done washing off all the shampoo, my hair on the bottom felt a little bit dryer. I have bleached damaged hair, and In my opinion, this is best for people who have oily hair or have an oily scalp like me, that you know longer want to have to wash your hair every single day to make it ungreasy. When I used the conditioner I instantly smelled rosemary, mixed with a mint menthol scent. I thought, that since it had menthol in it, it might irritate my scalp but did the opposite. The conditioner gave my scalp and cooling feeling, and felt less irritated. When pressing the bottle, to get the conditioner out, the texture is a cream. I thought since it had a thick cream texture it would hydrate my ends. When I was down rising out my hair, my ends felt still dry. I thought it would hydrate my hair since it said stronger, that part is true I have bleached hair and my hair strands did feel not as weak to break apart, but my hair was getting a little tangled. I decided to go in with a three-minute hair mask on one side, and not the other to see if it was due to the conditioner. The results were the side I did use the hair mask, was softer and easy to brush meanwhile the side with only the necessaire conditioner was hard to brush through.

  • Love the eucalyptus bath was. Really smells great and lathers well.

  • BEST BODY CARE ON THE MARKET. INVEST IN YOUR SKIN.

  • I’ve tried the body wash. Seems overpriced for what it is. It was fine.

  • Love all the products, feel super luxurious on my skin and safe. Smell does not last long though; I understand that it is natural.

  • Sorry but I just don't get it. Theres so much buzz about this brand but I do not find it special in any way.

  • I have loved everything I have tried from this brand. The formulas perform as expected, the packaging is very good, and I love that most of the products are available without fragrance. Products: The Body Serum is great for me as I generally hate applying moisturizer post-shower, but the serum sinks in so well and is so light that it doesn't bother me at all. Unscented is *wonderful* as I'm a perfume fiend and I don't like it when my perfume has to compete with bath products. The Body exfoliator feels really good, it's not too scrubby, but still effective, the texture of the scrub is almost like fine sand. I've recently added the Body Retinol and that seems to be doing wonders for the occasional bumps and clogged pores on my thighs and arms, I am hoping to see improvement in some light hyperpigmentation over time. Packaging: All of the products I currently have are in "bio-resin" except for the tube of exfoliator which appears to be plastic(?), the pump on the body serum works very well and I really do like the vacuum-style bottles. They have started introducing aluminum packaging, and I hope to see more of that, since I know its recycled in my area, and Im not totally clear on the environmental impact of bio-resin. I do like the very simplistic packaging, Im trying to reduce visual noise in my bathroom lately, and Necessaire is perfect for that. Brand: The brand seems highly committed to environmentally friendly choices and seems to be extremely transparent about their ingredients.

  • I like the eucalyptus deodorant. Roller ball makes for easy application. Nice spa-like scent.

  • Such good bodycare. I love the bergamot body wash scent. The deodorant is also a go to for the summer. It doesn’t stop the sweating, but it totally beats the smell!

  • I've tried most of their body care products and despite being super intrigued by the skin serum, I'm sorry to say that it feel pretty flat-- no noticeable difference, though it did add a significant period of time to my body care routine every night. The one standout product is the body exfoliator in eucalyptus. The scent is awesome, the feel is awesome. I wish the tube wasted less product though! You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck on this product-- it lasts a VERY long time. (I'd say the opposite of the lotion, which was gone much faster than the body serum that I bought it with.)

Make more products in the eucalyptus scent, please, Necessaire! And give us a way to dispense the exfoliant that's a little cleaner and doesn't waste so much.
