Reviews mention

  • Intuitive, finger‑friendly formulas
  • Natural, flattering shades
  • Lightweight, comfortable textures
  • Iconic, compliment‑magnet fragrance
  • Sheer, low‑coverage base
  • Inconsistent scent longevity
  • Fragile, leaky packaging
  • Limited, uneven shade range

Glossier delivers effortless, natural-looking makeup that many reviews praise—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, Stretch Concealer, and the “You” fragrance—while frequent critiques cite sheer coverage, short wear, and hit‑or‑miss skincare. Reviews of Glossier highlight intuitive, finger-friendly textures, flattering shades, iconic scent, and chic design, but also note reformulations (You and Balm Dotcom), packaging breaks/leaks, limited shade range, and products that feel lightweight to the point of barely there.

  • Definitely love the branding. ATX popup was cool. Cream eyeshadow was a bit weak, but the concealer was excellent.

    Feedback

    Better pigment for eyeshadow.

  • I've been a fan of Glossier since the start but recently feel like I'm finding too many products that are doing what they did, literally pioneered, better. My forever favorites are the Milky Jelly cleanser and the boy brow but it seems like I can find those same products elsewhere and not have to worry about shipping and all of that.

    Feedback

I'd love to see them expand!

  • The glossier you perfume is not my everyday scent but it somehow manages to be the scent I get complimented on the most. It smells amazing on me and everyone else I’ve ever smelled it on but it really seems to smell slightly different on everyone which I personally love.

Make all of the cosmetics vegan! The cloud paint blushes are beautiful but contain both carmine and collagen.

  • As an avid Into the Gloss reader in middle school, to say I was thrilled when milky jelly cleanser was released, is an understatement. In an industry that has conventionally been dedicated to pointing out flaws and promising to ‘fix’, Glossier's commitment to building a brand and community that empowers is refreshing. I always keep boy brow, stretch concealer, milky jelly cleanser, priming moisturizer, and balm dot com on hand. It's safe to say I stan Glossier and Emily Weiss.

Some of the packaging doesn't hold up over time (i.e. products with pumps), but it's fine because it's usually time for a replacement purchase by the time it breaks. Wasn't obsessed with Lidstar- didn't find it lasted on very long.

  • My spouse and I love this brand and all the products they offer.

  • I love the eyebrow products. My friend turned me on to them and now I turn friends onto them. Plus, perfect purse-sized product.

  • lovely scents and you do not need alot of the product to last all day

  • Great brand aesthetic, though the product formulation has become less consistent. The Cloud Paint in Eve has been my go-to for a while, and while the colour payoff + shade is beautiful, I do wish the product lasted for a bit longer. Highlighter is OK; nothing too grand to speak to, though the packaging is nice.

  • I love Glossier - I’ve tried many products but my favorite is there perfume. It’s such a lovely smell. I’ve gifted it to many people and it smells different on everyone! Love it and will continue purchasing from them.

  • I’ve tried the cloud paint, concealer, balm dot com and most of the skincare products. The skincare is ok. You can get better quality products elsewhere. The concealer is average. I would only recommend the cloud paints and balm. They last for years.

  • I love their perfume, but don't use any of their cosmetics anymore. With that said I think they make nice products with beautiful packaging and interesting concepts attached to them. I remember the days of the Wowder and Glossier Play. They're always innovating in a very cool way.

  • LOVE the balm and solid perfume. Cloud paint cheek color irritates my skin.

  • Was really disappointed by boy brow, especially after hearing people hype it up. Don’t see myself buying skincare or makeup from them after that. I love glossier you though. Was stoked to see that they now make a you scented deodorant. Would love to see a you scent body oil or lotion or body mist etc I like the whole “not a” line from JHAG, and I think You would make a great line of products.

  • I'm impressed with their design and packaging, really attractive. About the quality, it works but not significantly. Their serum helps my skin become "juicy" and gives me a good base before makeup.

  • Three cheers for glossier! Their products look great and make me feel great. I'm obsessed with their mascara and eyeliner - both are long lasting and miraculously never blur or bleed - and their Priming Moisturizer Balance, which has really helped my skin look its best. I'm also a big fan of their You perfume which I'd describe as the anti-perfume perfume. It smells nice without assaulting anyone with a smell! As a minimal makeup wearer, I really appreciate the simplicity of their products. I'd be remiss to not also mention their packaging. Lots of pink? Cute bubble pouch? Free stickers? TOO GOOD.

  • Tried it when they were popping up all over social media a few years ago. Definitely not worth the hype. The result and experience was underwhelming. The quality is basic at it best. I love their pink bubble pouch though.

  • I have to admit I've joined the Glossier cult, and I'm not mad about it. They are my go to makeup brand, incredible reliable and their products never miss. Andd man oh man the packaging is perfect for a minimalist gal like myself. You know what I'm absolutely loving about Glossier? Their focus on skincare-infused makeup is a game-changer! Not only do their products enhance my features is a natural way, but they also nourish and take care of my skin. It's such a relief to find makeup that feels so lightweight and breathable. I mean, seriously, it lets my skin breathe and feel hydrated all day. But here's the real kicker -- Glossier totally gets the art of enhancing, not covering up. Their product range is packed with essentials like the amazing Boy Brow and those beautiful Cloud Paint blushes. Let me tell you, they give you that effortless and glowing look without going overboard. Glossier really understands the importance of celebrating our unique features, and that's what sets them apart.

  • I have been a Glossier girl since day one. I don't use their entire line but the items I keep going back to are the You perfume (even if every other girl in NYC has it) and the brow gel. The in-store experience is also top notch! You literally can't walk in and not buy something.
