doublesoul wins praise in reviews for ultra-comfortable, breathable socks with cushioned footbeds, seamless toes, and vibrant, well-edited colors, but the brand divides shoppers on durability and performance. Many report pilling, thinning, and calf-tight crews, plus mixed feedback on athletic use and inconsistent sizing, while others say pairs hold up after many washes and stay put with helpful heel tabs; repeated complaints cite delayed or incomplete orders and poor communication.

The best socks. I've bought them on both Thingdrops. So good.
Feedback
Size up, they are definitely a bit tight.

Good everyday socks, I really like the colors and they've held up well in the wash. Not sure if I would necessarily repurchase as compared to Bombas or Comrad socks though.

I got the combo pack with 3 tall and 3 short pairs. Truly didn’t know that I could love (or Han e any opinion whatsoever) socks this much. They’re the perfect thickness and fit, and the colors are really pretty - rich and slightly desaturated. I would love if every brand was this intentional about their color palette. Overall, very impressed.
Feedback
I’ve had the socks in regular rotation for about 2 months and have yet to find something that I would change!

I buy sock a lot, and have a lot of socks because I am particular about my socks because I wear them 24/7 (I am a freak who wears them to bed). What really stood out to me on this product for the ankle socks is how they are set up. The bottoms are very nice and plush and have good padding and the upper part is light and airy and doesn't constrict you. I LOVED that about these, I get cold feet but sometimes I don't want my feet to feel like their in compression socks so it is the perfect balance for me. As for the mid-calves I have giant calves and they were too tight for me, but this is a common issue for me across the board, especially if there is a pattern (in this case a logo) that is stitched it to the top, for some reason that tightens the sock at the top.
Feedback
For the ankle socks my only disappointment and why I gave 4/5 is because they would fall off every time I took a shoe off, which isn't the end of the world just a hassle. As for the mid-calves I wish there were more options across the board for us woman with thunder calves, I lose circulation or get itchy because they are so tight, but I still want to wear mid-calves.

I gave these to my husband as a gift for Christmas thanks to a Thingdrop #Holiday 2022, and what a pleasant win-win! He loves them and this dude is PICKY AF in his socks, also, he has huge feet (size 14 US shoes) so, first of all, the largest size, fit! WIN! Second, they're cozy and comfy, WIN! And third, he likes the funky colors - extra surprise WIN! And, I got them on a deal thanks to the thingdrop... so bonus WIN. I have also bought another pack for myself - the only reason I'm giving it a 4/5 is that he did NOT like the ankle socks... which is a bummer, but the calf socks 100% win and we will buy more. hooray! #holiday2022

**edited to add: these aren't holding up as well as I had hoped. They're pilling more than expected and are not passing the wear test. These socks are definitely comfortable and I like that they're made of recycled materials. So far they've made it through a few gym trips and have done well in the wash. I'm not sure I'd repurchase based on pricing though - almost $10 a pair is pretty steep. I know Bombas has similar if not higher pricing, and I feel the same way about their socks as well. I'd be curious to find out what doublesoul's markup is to determine whether they can lower the price a bit and still make a profit.

I bought these from a thing drop and have really enjoyed them. I expected to like the tall ones best but I think the shorter socks may take the cake. The heel of the short socks are nice and tall so my shoes don't rub on long walks. Plus the colors are delightful. Compression is not full (like I would want for a long flight) but they are much sturdier than say a nike sock

Kept seeing this brand advertised to me on IG, so I was really excited when it was offered as a Thingdrop. The delivery was pretty quick. I’ve tried the crew socks and they are very soft and comfortable. The colors they offer are really cute as well. I love the solid colors. Prints are tricky and so easy to get wrong sometimes. I also love the fact that they are made with sustainable materials and are so well-priced. What I’ve found is that good, everyday (not sport) socks are hard to find. The really good ones are from specialty sock brands, but they are usually expensive (socks are a utilitarian garment!). Then there are socks from fast fashion brands, which are never worth it. Doublesoul has filled a gap and they will be top of mind for me for sure when it comes to quality sock brands.

Would love a mid-calf sock, please. That’s the only thing that was stopping me from ordering from your website, so I’m glad I got to try through Thingtesting.
Great socks! I loved the color choices and I like how they look and feel. I would purchase another set as a gift if I knew someone would appreciate them.
Feedback
I'm not sure that they're better than any other type of sock.
Edit (2nd Thingdrop): I'm sooo happy they came out with the quarter length! They are so much more comfortable as the long socks were tight around my calf and I ended up folding them down halfway anyway. I'm not super in love with the colorway of this drop, especially the pink, yellow and black, but it is what it is. These also feel much softer than the first batch. Upgrading from 4 to 5 stars. (1st Thingdrop) I bought these through one of the Thingdrops. I looove the colors, they're fun, wearable and trendy. I like that they sent both long socks and short socks - the ankle socks haven't slipped when wearing my converse. I normally like wearing high socks around the house, but the shaft of the doublesoul high sock is too tight around my calf and I have pretty small calves, so they're not the most comfortable in that respect. I like that these are made using recycled material. They are comfortable to wear and soft on your feet, however given that one of their main marketing pitches is that they are *super* soft and comfortable I was a bit disappointed as they don't blow me out of the water in this regard. I have comparably soft socks from other brands, and other socks that are more cushioned. I even found the material to be somewhat rough and cheap feeling to the touch when I first took them out of the package, though they softened after wearing and washing. I don't think I would purchase these at the normal retail value but yes, they are cute, soft and comfy and I enjoy wearing them.

I really like the material & feel of the socks. I purchased a 6 pack, 3 low-rise, 3 high-rise. The foot area fits great, however the ankle on the high-rise is too tight. I have big feet but skinny ankles/calves and found that the ankle/calf part of the sock was tight enough that it left indentations on my skin and wasn't super comfortable. I'd keep wearing these bc they were a great price, but I wouldn't order them again unless they adjusted dimensions around the ankle/calf.
Feedback
Adjust dimensions around ankle/calf to be wider.

So I am a Bombas man and I was a little dubious of falling for another brand as well, but after wearing 3 pairs of the doublesoul socks this week I feel confident recommending these. Very comfy and substantial in a good way. I would love to see more evolution of their soles and I am curious to see how they wear, but very comfy, great colors and seemingly very well made!
Feedback
I am not sure if the soles are as tough as other bougie sock brands but so far they feel solid!
Extremely comfortable and a great fit. Perfect for work or active wear.
Feedback
After a couple of weeks of wear and washing the are holding up great and are a perfect fit for my office wear.

Comfy socks, but they started pilling after just the first wear. The low socks are cute and have a nice heel tab to prevent slipping. I also like the texture of the inside of the sock, which is terrycloth like.
Feedback
I like these socks, but they are overpriced for what they are. Even with the thingdrop discount, the socks were pricey.

Got these in the Thingdrop! I got the corresponding size for me (size: women’s 8.5) and the no shows fit okay but the longer ones were big. I gave them to my husband (size: men’s 13) and they fit him fine so sizing is weird. The fabric feels super cheap and leaves tons of fuzz on the bottom of the foot after all day wear. They are also too thick but still sheer somehow. Two stars because I’ll keep wearing them…they aren’t AWFUL but definitely won’t reach for them first. I wouldn’t repurchase these at all but especially for the full price. I’ll stick with my thinner stretchier ones from lululemon. The colors aren’t even that fun :(
I received the unisex boxers via thingdrop. They're fitted and comfortable, I'd say not luxurious but good for the price point

The product description is misleading as it claims to be 100% organic cotton when it's actually made of 70% cotton and 30% polyester. Being misled so, really dampened my enthusiasm for the product and the company, especially since I am a new customer and a lot of people seem to swear by their socks. So I was really hyped up. I would have been content if the description had transparently stated the 70% cotton content for the boxers. I mean the product is great : they seem comfortable and fit me well (for reference I am a size 2). I haven't washed them yet, so not sure how they'll hold up post the wash. But it is more about their failure to accurately disclose the composition, essentially attempting to sell it as something it's not, that is really bothersome to me.

No complaints! I got the quarter socks which I was super excited about, because I dislike ankle socks but a lot of tall socks are too long for me (I’m short). They’re soft, a great length, and come in fun colors.

These are literally the most comfortable socks I have ever owned. After plenty of wears and washes, they still feel as soft and cushy as the first day I put them on, and the colors are just as vibrant, too. Plus they are so cute! I will take every opportunity I can to purchase more of these socks. Beyond the product itself, I love the fact that they’re made from recycled materials with earth-safe dyes and the sizing is gender neutral. Why did we ever need gendered socks in the first place? My only complaint is that they can be a bit pricey if you purchase at full price. I received my first set via a thing drop and that made this product much more accessible. Now that I’ve tried them, maybe I could stomach buying a full price set, but they are quite expensive. Overall, this might be one of the best brands I have discovered on Thingtesting!

Really liked these. A little too thick and cotton-y feeling for me to wear as run or workout socks, but great for everyday wear. Really soft, and especially love the heel tab on the no-show length. I tend to get heel blisters, especially with new sneakers, and the extra cushion in that spot prevented that from happening.
