Jolie
Experience
There is definitely a difference between the Jolie filtered shower head and my previous standard shower head. When you're in the shower, the water itself feels softer to the touch somehow. I haven't noticed a huge difference in my skin, but my hair is softer and stays cleaner an extra day or two. I have always had problem skin so I wasn't expecting a shower head to heal it anyway. The shower head looks great, but it's quite big so if your shower arm is set lower on the wall this takes up a lot of space and tall people will have to crouch a bit. The box came with an extra water valve for certain states, plumbers tape and a cute little wrench. Installation was super easy, however mine does leak a little where the head screws onto the arm, even after using the tape and the wrench to tighten it as much as possible. I live in CA where we have water usage limitations, so I had to switch out the valve so that it uses less GPM. The water pressure is definitely way lower than my previous shower head that was also state-compliant, so that's a little annoying as it does take longer to get my hair fully wet and rinsed, and I feel like I end up using the same amount of water, or more. But, I am used to it now so it doesn't bother me as much. Just something to consider if you prefer more pressure. T

I am so happy I was able to get this via Thingtesting for only $20. Considering the retail price is over $100, I think that's amazing deal. That said, I do not think this shower head is worth anywhere NEAR $100 and it's ridiculous to me that they're charging that, just because it's a viral product. It is by no means a pioneer in the world of filtered shower heads, there are dozens and dozens of options on Amazon for $20-50 a pop that do the exact same thing. I think price needs to come down. Would also love to see an updated GPM valve, and the ability to adjust the jet streams (rain/shower/jet/etc).
Troomy Nootropics
Experience
I used to work in the supplement industry and can confirm that the majority of these DTC trendy supplements are a total scam, however I was pleasantly surprised with the Troomy Focus gummies. I've been using them for about 2 weeks and expected any increased levels of focus to be the result of the placebo effect, however on most occasions I completely forgot that I took the gummies only to later realize that my ability to focus on my work skyrocketed compared to usual. This is by no means comparable to Adderall or any OTC prescription drug, but normally I have major brain fog and find it incredibly difficult to focus for any length of time longer than 15-20 minutes, and after taking these I was able to sit at my desk and power through 2-3 hours of work at a time. Additionally, I absolutely love the flavor. It doesn't taste artificial whatsoever, and kind of reminds me of these Middle Eastern chewy fruit candies that I love. Almost has a hint of tamarind. As someone else mentioned, I am not a fan of the high sugar content at 6g per serving (2 gummies). Given that the suggested use is 1-2 gummies up to 3 times daily, that could total up to 18g of extra sugar per day from just the gummies. Would love to see the sugar content replaced at least partially with stevia leaf or monk fruit. On a related note, I was initially very pleased with how many gummies came in the bottle and thought this could easily last a couple months, only to then realize that the suggested use is 1-6 gummies per day. That greatly cuts down the longevity of the bottle and at that rate I do think they're too expensive for the amount you get. I probably would only order these if they were on sale - but I do want to try the Calm gummies as well and they did send a discount code with the bottle I received for 15% off my next order. Shipping was also lightning speed. I ordered them on a Friday via Thingdrop, and received them the following Monday mid-day.

Lower sugar content, either cheaper price or larger bottle.
Baroncini Olive Oil
Experience
This olive oil has so much flavor and is so delicious you could drink it straight. Tastes beautiful massaged into a kale salad, as a bread dip, over salmon, etc. Note that this is definitely not a cooking oil and should only be used to top food; cooking a good quality oil will only degrade the health benefits and it will not taste as good (won't taste BAD, just won't taste like it's meant to). With that said, though the price is a little steep upfront at $70 shipping included, one case of this will last you several months and as such I believe it's a good price. I am just about to purchase my 3rd. :)

I don't like using an oil decanter because olive oil should be stored away from light and heat (and decanters are hard to clean), so I just try to pour it straight from the can. The pouring spout is awfully messy and annoying. Until the can is about halfway empty it's impossible not to spill the oil everywhere.

The branding is nice. The product itself is a simple canvas mitt and the polishing stone. The stone is unscented. I followed the instructions; the stone is difficult to rub onto the canvas mitt and it's hard to tell how much product you're getting on there. The mitt itself doesn't stay on your hand (would be nice if there was an adjustable drawstring or something to tighten around the wrist), and you have to rub your skin pretty aggressively in order to see anything happen. I can't imagine how you're expected to use this on your back or shoulders. They have videos on their website showing "dead skin" sloughing off as they use the mitt, but the "dead skin" you see is actually just the buildup from the chalky/clay-like skin-colored stone you just rubbed all over the mitt and then onto your skin. This seemed obvious to me before I even used it but to confirm I pinched a bit of the product directly from the stone and rubbed it between my fingers, it was the same as what was appearing on my legs when using the mitt. You shouldn't (and don't) need a polishing stone to rub away the dead skin, the canvas alone should do that. However, canvas can take a while to dry and is susceptible to bacteria, mold, mildew, etc. so it's not my first choice. I will always reach for an Egyptian loofah or Korean bath towel instead. All that said, I like that they've committed to simple ingredients, and always appreciate a woman-owned brand.

Product is somewhat gimmicky. Does it technically exfoliate? Yes, the canvas alone will do that. The stone will maybe somewhat moisturize, but lotion or shower oil will do way better and their marketing would have you believe that it's visibly sloughing off dead skin and it's not. Bottom line is this is difficult to use and there are better ways to exfoliate and moisturize without this product.

The packaging is really cute, the website is super fun. The product didn't do anything for me other than make me feel extremely greasy, more so than Vaseline. I didn't like the way it sat on my skin at all, and I feel like you'd have to wash your pillowcase after every single time you use it. I just found myself reaching for my trusty tub of Egyptian Magic over this every time.
Feedback
Really wanted to like it, and I'm not saying the product itself is bad necessarily, but I just don't see a need for a skincare line dedicated solely to slugging. These just appear to be standard, run of the mill basic products curated into a "line" and put in cute packaging to be upsold at a huge margin.
Visitor
Experience
Wow - my husband and I are super impressed with Visitor and we both agree it's one of the best NA beverage dupes we've had (we've been experimenting with NA wines, beers, spirits, cocktails, etc). If you poured me a glass of this and told me it was just regular alcoholic beer, I would believe you. Tastes great, somewhat hoppy but by no means an IPA, just like a really light pale ale. Genuinely enjoyed the taste. After receiving some Thingdrops sent in excessive packaging, it was a breath of fresh air to receive this one sent in minimal packaging and compostable 6-pack rings. I'm actually not the greatest fan of the branding - looks like a tennis ball - but it doesn't make much difference to me being that the drink speaks for itself. I do wish the price were lower, $17 for a 6 pack of NA beer seems a bit overkill and I'd probably only buy this if it were on sale.

Amazing! Stellar product and quality for sure. Ideally price would be lower.

Per all the other reviews here, it took a while to get here and the amount of packaging these shirts come in is absurd. Not only that, but I bought 3, and each tee came in it's own never-ending Mary Poppins bag of packaging. Like, each tube was inside it's own shipping box and all of the boxes were taped together. Why not just put the 3 tubes in 1 box? Anyway, aside from that, my husband really likes the shirts and he looks great in them. They're true to size. They don't look or feel cheap at all, I like the silhouette, we did test the liquid resistance and that claim checks out. He did the dishes in one earlier and splashed water all over, but not a water mark in sight. I also ran them under the faucet when I received them and they held a good amount of water. We've washed and dried them, and they're still in great shape. I'd feel confident spilling red wine on these.

Scent Lab
Experience
Pros: I was surprisingly impressed by the quality of the scents. I admit that I was expecting these to smell kind of like Yankee candles, but the scent of the 2 candles I received are high-end/smell expensive and not too strong. The vessel is nice quality and I like that you can choose your color. The online quiz experience itself is fun and creative. The rose-y scent is delicious and smells like real roses. The amber-y leathery scent is quite nice as well, though a bit subtle. Cons: The candle itself could use some improvement - the wicks are too small so even though there are 2 of them per candle, the wax doesn't melt all the way to the edge. I also find the brand name and logo to be uninspiring, the scents deserve a more luxurious sounding brand name. The packaging, while nice and fun to open, was pretty wasteful... The candle was inside a cloth bag inside a cardboard protective layer surrounded by a bunch of paper filling inside a cardboard box. I know that part of this is to protect the candle during transit, however there must be a less-wasteful way?

Better wicks, different brand name and logo. The ability to browse ALL available scents on your site, not just your 3 quiz result scents.

I am a skincare enthusiast and was very excited to try this brand and products at a discount for the Thingdrop. The cleanser came beautifully packaged, and the tube itself feels very luxurious and high quality. The smell is amazing and not too strong. I have combination-oily skin and have always had a hard time finding products that don't leave my skin feeling too oily or too tight and dry. This cleanses beautifully if you don't have any makeup on - I don't think it would clean makeup off though - and when it washes away it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and plump but not greasy or oily. I love using it as a mask as well and I truly see a difference in the brightness and plumpness of my skin after using it for a week. All that said, at $65/bottle I will not be repurchasing. My standard go-to cleanser is already expensive at around $40/bottle, but it lasts me about 5-6 months. This small bottle will last maybe 1 month if used every day, and only a couple months if used sparingly. Unfortunately, I just can't justify the price tag given that it doesn't cleanse makeup and won't last very long. The only way I could ~maybe~ justify it is if I were to buy it as a weekly mask, but then you wouldn't get the benefits of regular use.

doublesoul
Experience
I bought these through one of the Thingdrops. I looove the colors, they're fun, wearable and trendy. I like that they sent both long socks and short socks - the ankle socks haven't slipped when wearing my converse. I normally like wearing high socks around the house, but the shaft of the doublesoul high sock is too tight around my calf and I have pretty small calves, so they're not the most comfortable in that respect. I like that these are made using recycled material. They are comfortable to wear and soft on your feet, however given that one of their main marketing pitches is that they are *super* soft and comfortable I was a bit disappointed as they don't blow me out of the water in this regard. I have comparably soft socks from other brands, and other socks that are more cushioned. I even found the material to be somewhat rough and cheap feeling to the touch when I first took them out of the package, though they softened after wearing and washing. I don't think I would purchase these at the normal retail value but yes, they are cute, soft and comfy and I enjoy wearing them.
Feedback
I think their marketing over-sells the product. These are by no means the softest and cushiest socks on the market, though they are comfy and definitely cute. I think the high socks could be improved, way too tight on the calves compared to all my other high socks. The ankle socks are great!
