Daily Harvest earns mixed reviews: it excels at convenient, plant-forward smoothies that many find tasty and inspiring for healthier habits, but its savory bowls and some scoops/ice creams often disappoint with bland, gritty, or chalky textures. Reviews also flag small portions and inconsistency across flavors, while praising easy prep, variety, clear ingredients, and manageable subscriptions; several cite a serious past recall and packaging waste as concerns.

I found the smoothies to be fine. I think if you're someone who already makes smoothies at home, these would be a great and convenient addition. That ain't me, so it was just a lot of work.
I tried Daily Harvest for a few weeks after a really good TikTok promo but I didn’t like most of their products too much (except for their flatbreads) and their customer service was a little slow at times (I had some deliver issues which I don’t think were necessarily their fault) but they did make things up to me and I felt like things were otherwise easy to handle.

Faster responses from customer service and better delivery options
Daily Harvest is a unique subscription service. The bowls are hit or miss but the smoothies are spectacular!

The price is a bit high for everything but there are always discounts available.
Great website and the options seem great, but options are ultimately not flexible. You have to buy too many products at once. I didn’t love any of them, especially not the smoothies. They also go bad quickly so you have to plan on finishing them as soon as you get them.

Make cancellations easier and don’t just renew without emailing a shipping confirmation
I love Daily Harvest and I've used them on and off for several years. I love that they've expanded their product line. And as someone with several food allergies, their transparency and filters make it easy to find things that I can eat. It does feel overpriced sometimes though.

Have more nightshade-free and coconut free options :) And it would be awesome if they had more sustainable packaging.
I love the variety of smoothies as well as the bowls. My favorite is the mango smoothie as it tastes delicious (I find myself always looking forward to my Daily Harvest as a snack)!

I wish there was more flexibility around my subscriptions as I sometimes have more smoothies than I need for the week and forget that I have more coming the following week.
Had the subscription for a while but had to cancel, and the smoothies were just not doing it for me. I don't know it if it was the flavors, or the texture of them. Ended up giving a lot of them away.
I like a lot of the products I've tried - their scoops , smoothies, bites, and flatbreads. On the other hand, I haven't been impressed by a lot of their savory stuff, like their bowls. Some of them just don't taste very good to me, and like many others have mentioned, it's hard to justify the high price for small portions that don't satisfy. I like the company but I would stick with their sweet products if you're going to invest in it.

Some really really great stuff! Some kind of yucky mush. I think you really need to anticipate not liking half of it... And be ruthless about what you chose. I like some of the smoothies, but find others flavorless or gross and need a bunch of add ins.

Ive had some delivery issues in my building- the delivery ppl can be a bit frustrated and aggressive.... I get that they need to deliver that day because of food going back, but it kind of stinks to get angry messages when you have no warning.
Pure plant-powered goodness from morning to night! This service is excellent for anyone who is ultra busy and doesn't want to think about what to cook for the next meal. It is whole-food, very minimally processed, plant-based meal kit service. Most of their recipes are very delicious, however, are not meant to mimic their ultra-processed, high-fat counterparts. Their packaging is better and can be heated in microwave as well as sustainable. Just heat and eat! I have recommended it to my patients who are living by themselves and find it challenging to meal plan for plant-based diets.

Their subscription service is bit challenging to manage, but otherwise, no major problems. I forgot to cancel a few times for that particular week, and it came in the mail the following week. I had enough freezer space to store it. This not a good option for families of four or more who want to make dinner. It is a good option for busy folks who live alone or with 1 additional partner; or for people who have healthy lunch options to take with them to work. It also requires a decent amount of freezer space.
It's really simple to make and the smoothies taste pretty good. They're constantly evolving their menus which is fun. I appreciate how easy they make it to skip or cancel.

The smoothies pretty much cost the same as walking outside to get one so idk.

Taste- and ease-wise, this was great. Flavorful and a good portion size with great, clean ingredients. My only negative was the price, it was not something that I could purchase on a regular basis but would love to purchase as a splurge!
The smoothie I tried was very tasty and had clean ingredients. However, the price point of one smoothie cup is equivalent to buying a smoothie at a health food store. While it does make it convenient to make this at your house in minutes rather than going out, you are still having to do a blender clean up and it truly doesn’t save you any money. It would be best to make your own smoothie packs with bulk ingredients if you are looking to have convenience but also save money by making smoothies at home.
Love the food. Kinda expensive for me though
The ease of whipping these up is nice but I believe the price tag is a little steep for what you are actually getting. I think you’re better off making your own mixes.
I had a subscription on/off for ~1 year and really liked it but ultimately got bored. There are plenty of good, flavorful, and healthy smoothie/food/dessert options, but if you consistently use their service for daily meals, there’s only so much variety! You also can’t totally replace grocery shopping with their service, so then I ended up just spending even more on food overall…..
I got their smoothies through a deal and they tasted great. However, I would not pay full price for it & I also remember seeing that they had recalled items that made people seriously sick.
Tried several of the grain bowls and a 12 pack of the smoothies. I thought I would love the convenience of delivery, but actually found dealing with the dry ice and packaging to be quite irritating and challenging. All the flavors I tried were relatively boring and bland, and the smoothies often felt gritty in my mouth. I assume it was various "health" powders. I finished everything I bought because I didn't want to waste money but I didn't like the taste, didn't find the convenience better or faster than blending stuff in my own kitchen or using a ready made meal from a grocery store.
Overall, I’m happy with the food options-especially with the fact that I can make them “stretch” by incorporating them into other recipes. The price is a little high and they need to make containers that are accommodating to small refrigerators.
I love the smoothie bowls they offer, not so much the soups and foods. They're easy to make, taste amazing, and so convenient.
