I recently bought their Hot Honey and I have been really loving it! A little goes a long way and its super lovely to drizzle on top of your meals! (So far have had it on top pf my peanut butter banana english muffin for breakfast, and on a baked sweet potato with walnuts and goat cheese). Not as spicy as I thought it was going to be, and kinda thankful for that lol!

I got to try their Test Kitchen: Lava flavor through Thingdrop! The flavor was very rich and aromatic! Especially loved how it wasn't super spicy right off the bat so heat level could be more controlled. I used about a teaspoon over some dumplings and it added so much more flavor and layers to every bite!

I really liked Lava and the complexity of the flavor. However, because I'm not familiar with the sauce this was based on, I need ideas for how to use it! The brussel sprouts recipe on Zing's website is awesome with Lava! I really like the packaging as well.

Part of the Thingdrop and tried their experiment sauce "Lava". I tried this on some leftover pasta salad and thought it was pretty good! Decent heat and texture overall. It reminds me of ginisang bagoong a bit without the shrimp flavor, for the Filipino people who know!

Zing was good and it’s great in a pinch but I think it could pack a lot more flavor. In the most recent Thingdrop, I think the lava could be more spicy, more crunchy texture, more flavor.

Recieved Zing's Lava and was super impressed by the taste! I won't lie, the deep red color and texture of the condiment made me a little nervous, but unlike the name, Lava isn't terribly hot. As someone who tries to stretch out her groceries as long as possible, I love having shortcuts on hand for super simple meals. I mixed it in with brown rice noodles for a quick lunch and am going to use it on salmon later in the week.

I received the Lava sample. I used it on my stir fry and it added a lot of flavor and a hint of spicy-ness. I feel like you can use this product on just about anything you’d want to add extra flavor too.

I was part of the thingdrop for their new "lava" product -- it is GREAT! its the perfect starter or flavoring to any dish and i think its going to be extremely versatile.

Got this as part of a Thingdrop to test a new flavour. It was great to be part of their process and they did share the results with us after which was nice. I will definetly be buying more of their flavours. Really nice condiment to use on anything!

Yum yum! This Lava sauce was delicious and savoury! Easily adds some pop to any dish.

The lava sauce is slightly sweet with a little heat to it. I’ve only had it on eggs or toast. I think it would work pretty well with protein

I ended up trying the Thingtesting Thingdrop with Zing Pantry earlier this year. I loved the flavor of the Project Lava paste. It is an It had a good amount of spice, so a little went a long way.

I got one of the Test Kitchen Thingdrops and it was just OK. I ended up giving it to one of my friends and she seems to enjoy it.

Really loved this on my eggs and toast and excited to try it out on noodles and with some thinnly shaved beef. Read up on the story behind Lava and its flavor is inspired by Shacha sauce, which I could tasty immediately and absolutely loved. I think it's a super savory, spicy and sweet modern chinese bbq sauce and love supporting these AAPI businesses that are highlighting asian flavors.

Delicious! Tastes salty at first, but mellows out when added to a dish. I tried the Lava with soba and bok choi and it was a pure delight.

Tried the Lava product through a thingdrop and really enjoyed it! Very tasty and I thought it was cool that it had a very savory, almost meaty flavor, but is still vegan. I have used it in mostly Asian inspired dishes, fried rice, noodles, etc. Unfortunately I’ve gotten a little stuck on how to keep using it, so after getting it initially I haven’t used it a ton. I know they have recipes on their website, but for that specific product I don’t remember many being available (maybe that has changed). Overall a very tasty product, I’d be interested to try their other offerings, but I do feel a little limited in my ability to use the product.

Loved the test kitchen: lava condiment! I have thrown a spoonful into many Asian-inspired dishes and it really added a punch and depth of flavor.

I am a huge fan of the Lava crunch!!! This condiment is packed with unique & earthy flavors with a perfect level of spice. I use it on eggs, in fried rice / noodle dishes & on my falafel pitas. It’s also great to mix into your favorite hummus. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
