Vacation is a brand that is loved for its nostalgic branding, quality of products, and unique scents. The brand offers a variety of sunscreens that have been praised for their non-sticky, easy-to-apply formulas and high SPF protection. However, some users find the products to be expensive, especially considering the small sizes. Moreover, some users have reported an overpowering scent and lack of durability in the packaging.

Charming sunscreen I picked up during a ThingDrop. It is exactly what it says it is--an updated version of the classic sunscreen many of us remember as kids. The spray seems to adhere to one's skin quickly and easily, so I don't feel like I am wasting tooooo much like with many other spray sunscreens. As someone who LOVES a sunscreen smell, I am into it.

If you hated the classic sunscreen smell as a kid, this is not the product for you.

The days of big sunscreen lounging around waiting to be disrupted are over. An even more leisure-minded underdog is here and this product kicks @ss. Form factor and packaging are lovely. The future of leisure has never been creamier. Especially liked the way the top pops off with a flourish.

Price is a bit steep but worth it.
Great experience from top to bottom! I ordered the Classic Whip through the Thingdrop and messaged Vacation to see if I could also purchase a sample of their Vacation scent to include. The responses from their team were helpful, quick, and funny! I received the order quickly and the un-boxing experience was really fun. I loved the little extras they included! As far as the Classic Whip, I love the scent and the ingredients added- the product is great! Very moisturizing. My only piece of feedback would be that it comes out very quickly but it's not a big deal at all. I also LOVE the sample of the Vacation scent I received. I wasn't sure if I liked it immediately after spraying it but after awhile it really does smell like summers by the pool when you were a kid. I'll be purchasing the larger size soon!

Love how fun this brand is and all that they're doing! All that I have for feedback is the speed in which the Classic Whip comes out.
I LOVE the packaging and branding for Vacation products. I just received the whipped sunscreen and the packaging is so clever. It smells amazing and came with an air freshener and two scratch off tickets.

You have to spend quite a bit to get free shipping.

This is a great sunscreen! It’s easy to apply- just spray it on and go. It has the classic, coconut sun product scent, but it’s not overwhelming. It also, makes your skin feel soft and moisturized, but not greasy!

This is seriously the best sunscreen out there. The scent is what keeps me coming back -- I use the classic lotion, chardonnay Oil, the super spritz, and had to get the air freshener once I used the lotion. I vividly remember putting sunscreen on at the beach and having it be a miserable experience, but this brings back that nostalgic scent i've always loved but makes the application experience somewhat elevated.
I bought a pack of 6 of their Classic Lotion on a whim from a sample sale website after seeing this brand pop up on Thingtesting! I really enjoy the nostalgic packaging, application, and smell.

I did get stopped by TSA and they searched my carry-on toiletry bag for this sunscreen - thankfully they didn't trash it. I did pack one too many things this time around so my ratio might have gone over the 3-1-1 rule!
I knew I would love this product from when I saw it because of the concept. But when I got in person I loved it even more because it spreads easily and it gives you a glow. There is a scent but it isn’t too heavy.

Perhaps a unscented version for those that don’t like scents
Making sunscreen fun again. As someone who grew up in the 80s, the nostalgia really got me-the scent, the packaging and I love how all of it takes me back to those days. That said, I am always looking for ways to wearing sunscreen a pleasurable experience and Vacation captures that. I’m a believer that whatever gets you to slather on the SPF and if it’s nostalgia or a great scent, so be it.

Not necessarily improvement but I want to see a sunless tanner by them.
I love vacation sunscreen. The texture is so rich and is great for sensitive skin! I can use this sunscreen everyday and never feel oily. It’s always in my bag for on the go protection. Another plus is that is has no sent to it. I can be protected with out the sunscreen smell.

I would love to see more facial products.

Everything is so thought out with this brand, it’s insane. They send you little goodies and coupons with your order, so fun, and the sunscreen is great - a little goes a long way so I’m hoping the bottle lasts me a while! Obviously the whip isn’t the most convenient shape but the novelty of it is awesome and fun.

It’s expensive and trendy as hell…would be nice if it was affordable. I probably would only buy this as a gift for someone in the future and not for myself for practical use (it’s double the cost of a regular sunscreen).
Adore! The scent, the quality, the impeccable design and branding/marketing. Vacation actually works, looks great, and has one of the most unique positioning I’ve seen on any product in a very long time. The Chardonnay oil is lovely.

The packaging I liked. Classic WHIP. Shook the bottle and touched the nozzle to get a ping pong ball size in the palm of your hand. I loved the smell of the product. Besides the smell, I also liked when putting it on your skin there was no greasy feel.

The only thing is in order to take this on vacation it has to be 3.4 ounces or smaller to take on the plane. Needs to be travel friendly.

This has quickly become one of my favourite brands - excellent branding, smart packaging and unapologetic about leaning all the way into the vintage feel the brand offers. The products are brilliant too and everything in the experience is so well thought through.

The actual nozzle and product distribution can sometimes get a little messy - especially for certain products.
I recently received the new Classic Whip SPF 30. The packaging is so adorable and could definitely be confused for actual whip cream except that the bottle is smaller. I have very fair skin so the SPF is smaller than what I would usually reach for but I find it the perfect amount for a 20-30 outdoor city walk. The experience of applying is what makes this product so fun! It sprays out just like whip cream and has an extremely light and airy texture. The smell is nice and light so it's not overwhelming. I appreciate that the expiration date is big and clearly marked.

The nozzle gets messy during application and you have to clean it after each use. The packaging adds some weight to the product and with the unique shape it's not an SPF I can carry around in my purse to use for reapplying throughout the day.
I was fortunate enough to snag their spray sunscreen during a Thringdrop. I spend a lot of time outside and am always searching for a good sunscreen (bonus points for the nostalgic branding). The scent screams summer! I loved the easy application of the spray and it went on very smooth and not sticky. You'll definitely tend to use a lot more of it because it's a spray.

Overall I enjoyed the sunscreen, but I think the price point is high compared to other clean sunscreens I've used.

Why am I and everyone else obsessed with this brand! It’s just sunscreen- but it’s really hard to use anything else once you try it. I even used the Chardonnay oil recently thinking i would probably never use it but it smelled so good I use it daily on my legs and shoulders. It’s light weight and just so delicious smelling. All their products are Great. I wish there were more

The spray sunscreen is a bit pricey considering it really doesn’t last more than 2 beach/ pool sessions. Not for 30 spf anyway. I would love lower spf in the oil just if I wanted the option to use it as more of a tanning oil. I would love a face higher factor too. Not for daily just for serious sunning.

The classic has just the right weight to it to feel like the sun screen is there without that heavy or greasy feelings. I wouldn’t jump right to it being a Dry sun screen, but it’s pretty close. When I saw the fragrance was “scent of summer” I was happy to find out it wasn’t a piña colada smell. I’m not sure what summer smells like but vacation scent of summer smells good and is pretty subtle
I was excited to receive the packaging first and foremost – the branding perfectly encapsulates the energy of the 80s, all the way down to the smell of the product. I was pleasantly surprised with how good it smelled! A mix of the classic sunscreen smell you know and love with a hint of coconut softening the whole experience. It has the nostalgia of the spray sunscreens you would use as a kid, but with better contents inside. Love it! Can't wait to use it all summer long.
This is good sunscreen. I bought the spray canister through a Thingdrop — it's finally beach season in New York, so I went to the beach with four friends, all of whom brought their own sunscreen. They all ended up using my Vacation spray. It smells good, it's convenient, the packaging is great...it's cool sunscreen. But now I'm out of sunscreen, because the five of us used it all up through multiple applications over six hours at the beach. I'd say this is the perfect sunscreen for a classy, curated day by the pool. Great for the beach as well, of course, but the branding screams "poolside," specifically "poolside in Miami." There's a clean nostalgia to it.

There's not enough to differentiate it from competitors; I can get a can of fairly equitable quality down the street at my local Rite Aid, which I'll likely do when I inevitably almost forget to buy sunscreen before heading back to the beach next weekend. Ultimately I just need function from my sunscreen, and there are plenty cheaper, just as functional spray sunscreens — the packaging is great but ultimately I spray it on then just toss it back in my backpack.
