Reviews mention

  • Engaging, charismatic instructors
  • Extensive, evolving class library
  • Sturdy, smooth ride hardware
  • Motivating, community-driven platform
  • Uncomfortable, rigid bike saddle
  • High, recurring membership fees
  • Occasional clunky software updates
  • Inconsistent hardware longevity

Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

  • I was recently in physical therapy after ACL surgery, and the Peloton app has been an incredible addition to my recovery. While I love my Peloton bike, the app's wide range of classes, especially Barre and Pilates, has been a fantastic addition to my at-home workout routine. I love the Peloton instructors and accountability community they have built, even after the post pandemic hype.

  • While the peloton bike is very expensive it provides a wide range of at home at home work outs. While I love going to spin class, nothing will top the experience and positivity I experience when riding and competing in live peloton classes.

  • I have nothing negative to say about peloton, they have great customer service and if you have any issues they respond and resolve the issue

  • Lower rating because cycling isn’t my jam for working out. I enjoy their instructors - super engaging and motivating AND funny. There’s a lot to offer on the app, but the bike itself wasn’t something that I would purchase.

  • Big fan of the app and the instructors..nice to have the option to do outdoor audio classses. Great energy all around

  • Peloton might not be the unicorn darling it once was but from a product standpoint, it's still beautifully designed and an incredible update to its predecessor. Ours gets way more use as it is intended (exercise) vs what I feared it would be (an expensive clothing rack). Great instructors, great music, great classes and varied options other than just bike routines.

  • I only used the app for non-equipment workouts, but have found it really helpful! There's a huge variety of workouts even without purchasing the expensive equipment.

  • I love my peloton! It keeps me in shape on days when I am too rushed to get to the gym. I love fitting in a quick workout in the mornings before teaching all day - it is a great way to start my day with a boost of energy and happiness !

  • I held out for a really long time on getting a Peloton (for a variety of stubborn reasons) but there's a reason why people love this thing so much-- it's honestly great. I'm counting myself an addict now. If you have the budget and you work from home, I recommend giving a friend's a try, or testing out their new rental program which is about ~$80 a month.

  • I have been using a Peloton Bike for years and have had a Peloton tread for one year and use the iOS app a lot. The hardware is great and really high quality. Bike+ feels worth the price and the instructors and music are all really enjoyable. There is someone for everyone.

    Feedback

The tread is very large, very heavy and not easy to move. I had to change the room it was in and had to disassemble it because it was too wide to fit through the door. There weren't great instructions on how to do this either.

  • My family uses our peloton daily! Although the price is high, it is so worth it to be able to do high quality workouts from home with support from instructors and friends.

  • I liked Peloton when they first came out since it was innovative and considered buying one myself for a while. Long story short, I returned it for a SoulCycle bike.

    Feedback

I pulled the trigger at the start of the pandemic and ended up returning it. The bike is NOT sturdy. The SoiulCycle bike is a Stages bike which is a phenomenal brand so we would be sure to use it even if the brand folded.

  • Love the product and this pushes me to exercise. I understand the things that have been happening regarding the news but keep your kids away from this as if you were to keep your kids away from Knives. But this product is beyond amazing and helps bring the gym home with motivation! Highly recommended!

  • Really like Peloton treadmill and I find myself using it almost daily. The classes are also great too.

I originally bought the plus in 2019 and it is very large. It takes up most of my office space in my apartment.

  • Tried this in their store when they had a workout event and I loved the energy and community built on this bike! I felt like I was actually immersed in the mountains when we were riding with the other folks, the shoes were definitely comfy to ride in I’ll take those to soul cycle next

  • Love my peloton! Took me from weak, sedentary, no exercise to a ROCK STAR! Videos are so fun! I feel like I am having fun and effortlessly getting healthy and fit! This is also great because it’s low impact and easy on my body! Highly recommend!

  • **Review: Peloton** I love my Peloton—it’s been a total game-changer. Not moving it from Chicago to LA? Biggest regret ever. The high-energy rides, the pumped-up instructors, and the convenience of crushing workouts at home? Priceless. Now, I'm stuck without it and feeling the burn in all the wrong ways. Maybe it’s time to bite the bullet and get a new one. If you’re on the fence, trust me, Peloton is worth every penny.

  • I've used their app subscription and honestly it's amazing. The running ones are so helpful to get through any slump. Love how it is not stagnant classes, and every day you can do a new class.
