Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

Love my bike, but the monthly membership fee is outrageous - especially considering you can get the app for 1/4 of the price (you're literally paying more to see it on the bike's screen and get your metrics). Customer service was very disappointing. When there have been recalls, it took over 8 months to get parts.
Enjoyed the classes
I should probably feel bad for them because I don't think they're doing incredibly well, but I really resent the expensive equipment + subscription model. Make it stop!! I have one and don't use it enough to justify it. My gym has them too if I ever want it.

I didn't think I was a spin girlie until I tried one of these. It's honestly such a fun workout and I love that the app has a variety of different classes too

I like the classes, the instructors are great. But I feel like it’s lost some of its hype & luster lately.
A friend of mine has a Peloton and whenever I visit, I get on for a few rides. There is a diverse catalogue of workouts, not limited to bike rides. I was impressed by the library, but also excited at the feature of Live classes happening. The classes i have taken have been very motivating, with an easy-to-use screen and so many options, you're sure to find a class that works for you.

I can't think of any current conditions that would make Peloton better. Their system is really built to cater to everyone, whether it's your first time working out or you're a pro.

I really enjoy my Peloton! I have the in-home bike and use the Peloton app frequently. I have really enjoyed being able to explore a lot of different class types and finding instructors that I really resonate with and get excited about taking their classes. It's a really fun, positive experience, even as a plus-size person who isn't the most athletic in the bunch.

Love the peloton app- have been a user for 3 years, and a consistent user for the past one year. The variety that they have is unmatched. They have also really ramped up the difficulty levels of the classes and made them much more comparable to an in person class. Overall great innovation- I would highly recommend the meditations, which have been a game changer for me! I do not own a bike- have used their bike many times, but you can also buy a cheaper spin bike and use the app for that as well. The App is great on its own- I even have a close friend who's Dad lost over 50lbs in a few months through peloton App classes! Its a real game changer!

Felt like a moms only thing for a long time, but I think they've done better recently tailoring to younger and broader demographics!
Just really good. The whole experience is well done from product to app. They did a great job of building an aspirational brand and then delivering on it.

After a lot of wear, the bikes get a little tired.
I have been a Peloton fan for years for their top tier user experience and constant innovation. They have one of the most seamless user experiences between machine, tablet, and app. I love that I can select and save workouts from the app and have it immediately reflected when I am using the machine. Minus one star because I do feel like there are a lot of hidden fees associated with Peloton, from the machine activation cost (for second hand machines), to app subscription fee.
Love the rides but the subscription fee is steep
I like the variety of workout types and the app subscription is quite cheap compared to a brick and mortar gym, however if you don’t have self-motivation to complete a workout it’s no better than an unused gym membership. For me personally, I need other people physically around me in group classes.
The bike is great, but honestly the app is everything! I love to squeeze in 10-15 minute workouts to give me a break from working at home at the computer and I feel a thousand times better. The classes are so engaging and flexible, I've finally found something I'm sticking with!
Just finished another killer workout with the Peloton App, and I am absolutely loving it! It's like having a personal trainer right in my living room. 🚴♂️💪 From cycling to yoga to strength training, there are so many classes to choose from, and each one leaves me feeling stronger and more energized. Plus, tracking my progress keeps me motivated every step of the way! Whether I'm sweating it out solo or joining a live class with friends, this app has become my go-to fitness buddy. Who else is on their PelotonJourney?
Love our peloton bike and love the app. Tons of workouts to choose from and for every mood and music style. The instructors all have great personalities and you end up feeling like you are part of a community.
Peloton has completely changed my approach to fitness! Their internet-connected stationary bicycles and treadmills are top-of-the-line, offering an incredibly smooth workout experience. The equipment itself is sleek, sturdy, and comfortable, with features that allow for a customizable workout every time. What sets Peloton apart is the vast library of live and on-demand classes—they have everything from cycling and running to strength training and yoga, so it never gets boring. The instructors are motivating, and the community aspect makes you feel connected even when you’re working out at home. The subscription offers great value with all the class options, and I love that you can track your progress over time. If you're looking for a convenient and high-quality way to stay fit, Peloton is definitely worth the investment!
I love the peloton from all the classes and the music at the classes. I’ve sweat a lot, I’ve cried. I also love that I can do it in my own home.
The Peloton is a high-performance indoor bike; it is very nice!
My girlfriend has the bike, and I have tried hers a few times when we workout together and I love it! I also love the intensity of the workouts. I am hoping to get one soon!

i bought one one year ago, but stop using it due to tightness on my hamstring. Seat is very uncomfortable for plus size people.
