  • I purchased the Oura ring about 5 months ago. I find the information it can track is impressive. I haven’t had any issues with the ring so I cannot speak as to customer service. I have received a notice that they are offering additional months if free service which is a plus. This is a convenient effective wellness tracker. The ring is comfortable, although a little bulky. The sleep tracking feature is terrific and I have improved my sleeping habits as a result. I do wish the activity tracker was a little better. The battery life is great. I am looking forward to the updates. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

  • I was resistant to any type of health tracker for ages, but during the pandemic my quality of sleep took a hit and I wanted to understand more about what was impacting my sleep cycle. However I really wanted something minimal and without a screen that might steal more of my attention with notifications (sorry apple!) so an Oura ring felt like the right choice for me. The rings are sleek, small and capture data around readiness/stress, sleep and activity, which were the most important for me.

Sometimes the app needs a little nudging to pick up data from other apps e.g. apple health. It's not the most comprehensive health tracker, so if you want to look at tonnes of different metrics it might not be the right wearable for you.

  • Oura is in my top five favourite purchases of all time. I absolutely love it. I've used Fitbit and Apple watches in the past and really struggled to wear them 24/7 as they tend to pinch my arm when I sleep, and never loved showering in them, but Oura was the wearable I could finally wear 24/7 and felt comfortable. My fingers swell and hold fluid changing quite a bit in size, especially in the heat and in the summer months, so I was nervous if Oura would be suitable for me before purchasing one. If you have the same thing with your hands, here's my pro tip: Oura will send you a sizing kit to figure out your size. Wear the size that fits for a couple of weeks, and purchase one that fits your desired finger on your larger hand (most of us have one). When your fingers swell, it will likely fit the same finger on your other hands, and voila, swap around. Oura's insights are simple to understand and easy to turn into action that matters to change my behaviour to get the desired results in my life—whether choosing an earlier bedtime, increasing my daily exercise, or ensuring I move every hour. My favourite insight? Using my daily readiness score to decide what workout I will do that day. While I commit to at least five workouts per week, I use a system to do my most challenging workouts when my readiness is the highest and the easier ones on the days when I might need a bit more recovery. Colour-wise? I've purchased Oura Black, Stealth and currently have the Gold Heritage version. I loved all of them—they are exactly as pictured on the Oura website and socials. I've been wearing the ring since 2018 and have loved each generation upgrade and watching the product development and innovation. I was part of a 6-month study with Oura and the University of San Francisco throughout COVID where I volunteered my data to see if Oura could predict COVID when, or before COVID-19 was contracted. I love that Oura is dedicated to improving the well-being of humanity.

The black showed up fingerprints and scratches pretty easily, so I was often (more than once daily) cleaning it. The latest version of the app, which shows variation in blood oxygenation, means that the ring has a red glow at night. I often sleep with my hands by my face or above my head, which sometimes wakes me up if the ring turns around at night. This wasn't the case before the latest software update, and I know I can turn this function off, but I don't want to, as I like the insights. I love the Oura x Gucci collab and WISH I had this ring—I can't wait to see more collaborations in the future.

  • Totalll game changerrr. I’m obsessed with my Oura Ring. I’ve had an Apple Watch for years, but honestly? It started to feel like wearing a mini phone on my wrist. Bulky, annoying, and not exactly cute. The Oura Ring, on the other hand, is sleek, low key, and way more comfortable. Half the time I forget I’m even wearing it. It does everything I actually care about: tracks my steps (way more accurately than my Apple Watch, weirdly), monitors my heart rate, gives me deep sleep insights, and even helps me track my cycle. It’s like having a tiny wellness coach wrapped around my finger. The app is super user friendly and makes all the data feel digestible, not overwhelming or techy for the sake of it.

  • Honestly love my oura ring. I probably shouldn't know this much information about myself everyday but i do think it's helped with sleeping and overall trying to be healthier. It's more eyeopening than anything else. Switched from my apple watch to oura primarily for exercise and am very pleased with how much more i like the Oura ring - for the tech aspects + how it looks!

  • Oura has some positives, like the stress management feature and the fact that the rings are stylish compared to most wearables. But after two years of use, I don’t trust the accuracy like I used to. It often shows restful sleep when I barely got any. Add in the high upfront price plus the monthly cost for the app, and it feels overpriced. I tried Whoop and was way more impressed by the quality of the data tracking. At this point there are much stronger options on the market.

  • I love my oura ring! I dont love the monthly subscription fee but overall it gives great data. Although they provide good reports for the doctors; not all doctors value their data so be aware of that.

  • I've had my Oura ring for 3.5 years+ now and I'm a big fan. My ring stopped charging at one point (after 2+ years of use) and customer service quickly sent me a new one. The steps are not accurate, but I like it for general trends (sleep, movement etc.) I also use an Apple watch, so I don't rely on it to always start recording when I work out.

  • I've been following Oura for 8+ years and I'm impressed with how their rings have become simpler and more stylish. Talking to friends who use it, opinions differ; some appreciate the detailed health insights, while others find it overwhelming. As the product evolves, I'm curious to see how Oura will balance this by refining their customer journey, offering a more streamlined experience for those who find it too informative, and a "pro-mode" for data enthusiasts.

  • It's alright, I'm really into the whole idea of tracking my sleep and that part is pretty cool. However, when I hit the gym, the ring can be a bit bothersome and gets in my way, which can get annoying. I'm currently giving Whoop a try to see if it suits me better. But overall, it's still alright, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, mainly due to the workout situation.

  • After returning my Oura Ring at the end of 2022, I decided to repurchase it in October 2024 because I missed the invaluable health insights it provided—especially around sleep, heart rate, and latency time. This second try turned out to be the right decision. My health has significantly improved since getting it back. Initially, I ordered the Oura 3, but shortly after, the Oura 4 was released. I returned the Oura 3 in time to upgrade, and the difference has been remarkable. The Oura 4 boasts a much better battery life and even more accurate data tracking. One of the standout features in this version is the Meal Log (currently in beta), which allows you to track your meals and integrate them with your overall health metrics. Oura now also monitors your heart rate patterns throughout the day, showing how many hours you spent stressed versus restored. Another great addition is the cardiovascular age feature, which serves as an excellent indicator of overall heart health. Overall, the Oura 4 has taken health tracking to the next level, and I couldn’t be happier with the upgrade! The OURA 4 design is also better and lighter than the OURA 3 ______________________________ Previous Review > I ordered my OURA ring end of October 2022 and i returned it 1 month after. The experience is great overall but I m not sure about the results provided - sometimes during the night i would have been awake for 2 hours and the oura ring would have recorded the opposite. it seems to work on when you fall asleep and when you wake up, the temperature body. Cons 1: If your finger swells during the night it feels very uncomfortable when you wake up, very complicated to remove the ring Cons 2: not sure about the impact of wearing the ring that requires to have Bluetooth open even during the night for your health The return was very very easy

  • My first generation ring worked well, I have the latest version and its not been possible to pair it correctly.

    Feedback

Pairing and set up is difficult. Also, if you wear it on your dominant hand you can get in accurate results, which I did not know until after I choose my ring size.

  • Amazing sleep tracker! The design is made to look like a normal ring, but it doubles as a sleep tracker. I like getting the data as to how I’ve slept. It’s super important to understand how you’ve slept because it’ll impact your day, exercise and food

  • i do love my oura ring but i also feel like i dont neeeeed a lot of the info it provides, it also isnt great at tracking workouts. i just got it for the natural cycles integration which is cool

  • Oura provides behavioral data for deeper insights on your daily activities. Not just your sleep and exercise but also for all those in-between times to track how active your days (and nights!) have been. It’s extremely useful and, most importantly, it drives changes in your habits as a result. Can’t imagine life without it at this point!

    Feedback

Frankly, it just keeps getting better as they improve the software and firmware over time… at the moment, no complaints and I’ve had it for years!

  • Pretty incredible tech. Worth the expense. The only main issue is the data can be a self-fulfilling prophecy...if you wake up with a low sleep score, you may go into your day thinking you're more tired/less prepared than you might have felt without knowing.

    Feedback

Would love a thinner ring for those of us with small hands/slim fingers!

  • I've had my Oura ring for about 2 months and I absolutely love it. It was a pricy purchase and I don't love that I have to pay a monthly fee, but in the time I've had it, they've added some handy new features to the app that I appreciate, I hope this continues to happen as that definitely makes me feel better about paying monthly for the app. I could get into the weeds about how much I love the ring but overall, the apperance is subtle (I barely notice it anymore), its lightweight and super comfortable, and I really love the insights it's provided me. I pay more close attention to my sleeping habits, I find it helps me stay more active, and I also use it to track my cycle. I found I liked having goals when I used to use my apple watch, but this feels much more passive and my speed, but I'm not using it for heavy fitness tracking. If I wanted more stats, or if I was going to the gym I would probably still wear my watch.

  • I’ve been wearing my Oura ring for about 4 months and I love it! I hate wearing things on my wrist and don’t want to added distraction of a screen on my arm. This ring is a great, non invasive way to track sleep, steps, heart rate, etc. The readiness score helps me pay attention to how I’m feeling and take rests when needed. Overall, I’ve found the Oura has helped me be more in tune with my body and be able to look at the specific causes for why I’m feeling great/poorly on a given day.

  • Love it! Use it every night. Now that its tracked with Natural Cycles I use it as birth control. Couldn't image being without it.

  • So far it has not really told me anything I did not know as far as my sleep. I have to wake up for frequent trips to the bathroom, and my cats wake me up because they're cats! I do appreciate the cardiovascular age feature, the stress monitoring. Although anytime I walk or have a slight raise in my HR, it says I am stressed. I will say the app had a glitch where it repeatedly notified me about bedtime. And I wish it were easier to actually speak to a customer service rep instead of waiting for a response to your email.
