Nori earns largely positive reviews for delivering effective, travel-friendly garment care—its fabric shaver revives sweaters and upholstery quickly and gently, while the Nori Press simplifies touch-ups without an ironing board. Reviews also flag drawbacks: the press feels heavy and awkward to clamp, its small water reservoir empties fast and struggles on heavy wrinkles, and the shaver’s magnetic cap can loosen and, with careless use, snag fabric.

I absolutely love this product! Nori has created a hassle free solution to all my ironing products and I love that it is also travel ready.

I got the Nori Shaver via the Thingstesting Thing drop. It works really well! I love the packaging that it comes in and stowes away really neatly. The battery life is good and it is easily rechargeable. The fabric shaved off gathers in a bin that is able to be opened and thrown out easily.

Prior to this, I had ~the~ amazon fabric shaver, and from the moment I opened the Nori one, you could immediately see/feel the quality difference. I've tried it on a few sweaters and it works great and fits in my handle comfortably! I love the carrying case and the fact that it comes with extra blades.

I despise using a traditional iron and ironing board. I tried a mini steamer, which was okay, but easy to burn yourself and kind of messy at times. I sometimes use my hair straightener on my clothes and that works okay as well. I finally decided to give the Nori a try to see what additional benefits it offers. Pro's: easier than getting out the traditional iron; sleek design; easy to figure out and use; it works well enough Con's: I tested it out on a shirt and shorts and my hand was SO tired from holding and using it just a few minutes in. Something about the design isn't very ergonomic and heavy. Although it works, it's actually about the same results as using my hair straightener (although the Nori has the steam function which does make it a lot better). Definitely something to try out!
I’ve been in the market for a fabric shaver for a while not. Many of the options I have used before are plastic and cheap battery operated models. The Nori fabric shaver is none of these things. The packaging was luxe, and gift ready. Hello moms or grandmas. The device itself was much more solid than other brands available at target or Amazon and rechargeable. The product itself works really well. I tested it out on a couple of cheaper shirts with great results and then moved over to cashmere. It did not disappoint. Overall great experience.

Love my Nori. Will not travel or leave home without it. Definitely worth the price and definitely a great product to have.
This fabric shaver is beautifully designed and works perfectly. I’ve tried cheaper fabric shavers from Amazon and they’ve always left holes in my thinner garments. The Nori Shave does not do that at all - I was able to use it on a t-shirt with no damage. Its also bigger than a typical fabric shaver, which makes it easier to de pull a whole garment quickly. The price point does seem pretty high. I’m torn about the price point because it absolutely works wonderfully and ultimately is probably worth it if you’re willing to spend the money, but I don’t know if I would have bought this without the Thingdrop discount just because most similar products on the market are so much cheaper.

I love my Nori lightweight iron that steams as well! A great item to have that speeds up the process of pressing your clothes.
I do not have prior experience with fabric shavers, so I have nothing to compare my experience with, but overall the fabric shaver performed well. It took longer than expected to get all of the pilling off of my sweaters, and it was a little less powerful than I would have liked, but it got the job done. I appreciate the design of it, but I know I wouldn't have purchased it without the Thingdrop discount.

I’ve been hearing about the Nori iron for a long time so was very excited to try their new fabric shaver product when it popped up as a Thingdrop. I have a dinky little sweater comb that is not super effective, and I’m now a fabric shaver convert! I was relieved that it was gentle on the sweaters and sweatshirts I tested it on, but still got a lot of the pills and fuzz off! It’s not perfect, I did have to go over some spots several times and noticed some pills still when I wore a sweater after. But definitely much much better. Packaging is nice, and I like that they give additional shaver covers to replace when it gets dull. I did find the button to empty out the fuzz reserve (that’s a technical term, lol) hard to use and a bit cheap feeling but everything else was very chic. It doesn’t look unlike some sort of futuristic sex toy though, so store it with your cleaning/laundry stuff to avoid any confusion, ha. With that, I’m off to gleefully shave the rest of my closet!

Fabric shavers/depillers are the device you never new you needed and can’t believe you lived without! I borrowed my sister’s she bought off Amazon awhile ago and was obsessively De-pilling everything I owned. The Nori is great. So happy I finally got my own fabric shaver! It is a little larger than I was expecting, but it’s super light weight, can hold a lot of lint, and lasts a long time off one charge so you can get a lot done. I feel very safe using it; not worried I’m going to cut myself or my clothing even though it’s made up of tiny blades. I saw other reviews where people commented on other shavers putting holes in their clothes. The Nori definitely doesn’t do that; it’s super gentle yet powerful all at the same time and even comes with a set of replacement blades when the originals get dull! It really works great and I would definitely recommend.

I love it! The machine itself was so easy to set up, its easy to use, and actually got the job done! My sweater looks great now and Im not embarrassed of all the pilling any more! I was stoked for this Thingdrop, and it didn't disappoint.

purchased the nori shaver as part of a thingdrop. was looking for something to depill my sweaters and this did the job! super easy to use and the metal guard provides a layer of protection between the blade and the garment, which is nice. it does take quite a while to properly go through an entire sweater, though.

Honestly so happy I got the Nori Shaver. I have been sitting on so many good sweaters because they were covered in pilling and this took them right off! It's not too loud, super slick, great design. Came with two extra sets of blades and a bag. Also love that it's rechargeable vs needing batteries. Overall so happy with it. Price point is a bit high- I think I would be weary to spend $60 on this but it is a game changer once you have it.

My life moves so fast and my clothes is always struggling so Nori to the rescue. The Nori Shaver works exactly as described. The functionality does give me a sense of stress knowing the blades are s h a r p !! I’ve been experimenting and getting all my sweaters and hoodies renewed before the winter season. No accidental holes yet! Would love to try the viral Nori Press. The brand is more expensive than similar items in the market. An investment and definitely a millennial and Gen Z type of product.

I think Nori is a great compromise/solution if you do not have easy access to an iron & ironing board. I live in a small apartment with limited storage space so this is a good compact tool to get the job done. That said, it takes a lot of work (and time!) to effectively iron your clothes and/or get rid of wrinkles the same way an actual iron or steamer would. I find myself dewrinkling by throwing clothes into the dryer or sending to the dry cleaners so they can press it way more often than I thought I would when purchasing my Nori. At the end of the day, my laziness outweighs the benefit of my Nori but maybe that’s just my own problem :)
Super handy and good for us younger people with small apartments / always on the move. Loved that we didn’t need an ironing board, and pressed my clothing really well.
Feedback
My heaviest denim wasn’t straightened by the denim setting and I had to use the poly setting on a cotton shirt for higher heat.

The Nori fabric shaver is AMAZING! It's so compact yet powerful. I just don't think it's worth $59. Do your research of other fabric shavers before buying. I got it a couple of months ago and kept it in the box a while before trying it - it turned on right away, didn't have to charge it at all. I used it on my ottoman that had some pilling on it, and it was like magic. My reason for 4 stars is that $59 for a fabric shaver is astronomically higher than comparable ones - the Conair one that has a 4.5 star rating on Target is $14, and there are others on Amazon for half that. I am all for innovation and improving / rebranding boring products to make them more exciting for today, but I am not for price-hiking unnecessarily just for cool branding and marketing that works to convince people that their product is better than anything already on the market - it's likely not. It just looks cooler and has a USB-C charging cord. So if that's what you want and you can spend 4x as much to do it, you will not be disappointed with the Nori.

This was a great addition to my closet to handle pilling fabrics. It's easy to use and does a really great job at removing excess fuzz. The reason for the 4 star is that my hand gets crampy from holding the handle after a while since I usually tackle a few pieces of clothing all at once rather than one at a time. Aside from that, this is a great piece to maintain the longevity of your clothing. It's better than every other fabric shaver I've used.

I have both Nori products (I bought the iron, and then got the fabric shaver as a Thingdrop purchase). I really like both for the convenience of them (I always am losing lint rollers and honestly only recently became adult enough to appreciate a fabric shaver to remove pilling on sweaters, etc) - they're mostly pretty easy to use and love not having to have a whole ironing board situation because I don't iron that often. The iron I do think is not super intuitive to use (or I'm missing something obvious), but it works pretty well and is pretty easy to maneuver, as far as ironing goes. The fabric shaver did pretty well as both a lint remover and a fabric shaver/clean up pilling, but it was not 100% effective - there was still some lint and some pilled fabric on the clothes I used it on. Overall I'd give them an 8/10 and am happy with them though.
