I bought this through a thing drop. It’s nicely made and I appreciate that it includes a cover. I do feel like it stays cool as advertised. The quality is excellent. However I bought this for my husband who is mostly a stomach sleeper and this was too firm for him. I don’t feel like the zippers that adjust the loftiness really made enough of a difference to accommodate sleepers of all positions. However, as a side sleeper who likes a bigger pillow, it’s working out very well for me!

It's a memory foam pillow, nothing more, nothing less. I don't find it to stay cooler than any other pillow. The pillowcase is kind of on the rougher side also fabric-wise.

I thought this was going to so gimicky, but this pillow is great. There is a real different between soft, medium, and firm. I’m always swapping around my pillows in the middle of the night depending on what I want. It nice to able to zip or unzip for a quick change. Think these would be great in a guest room (with a little explainer)

I was really excited for this pillow, and Im still going to give it some testing but to be honest, this pillow never gets fluffy. I have it all the way opened and it still feels firm and flat. I wanted to wait a while to do my review on this because i was trying to tell myself it would be different. If you enjoy more of a flat / firmish pillow then this 100% is for you. The branding, the packaging, its all there. But just for me personally, this isn't the pillow for me!

Writing this review after an incredible night of sleep with the Marlow pillow is truly so special! The pillow ships rolled up in very simple, horizontal rectangle packaging. I was skeptical when it unraveled a bit flat. After fluffing up the pillow and getting ready for bed, I unzipped both zippers for max fluffiness and tore off the tags. After sleeping on a very firm, thick, and foamy pillow for years, I wasn’t sure how the Marlow would compete with my already favorite pillow. The sleeping position for the neck is so comfortable on the Marlow. I also sleep with an Oura ring and had more deep sleep (40%) last night than I’ve had in the past month. This is so shocking especially as I had coffee about 2 hours before bed. Truly wild. Don’t knock it off for being small or flat, there’s something in the design that makes it work for you!

Great pillow! My wife got jealous of it and got the same one. It’s very customizable and can be adjusted to firm or soft.

Finding a pillow is really tough. I want one that's firm and thick (control yourselves) but not so thick it gives me a crick in my neck (seriously, get it together). My old favorite pillow is no longer being made and was starting to give out, so I was nervous. Happily, this pillow from Marlow (and the accompanying protector) has been great. I keep it zipped all around, it holds its shape overnight, I'm sleeping great, and no neck pain.

I had Casper pillows that had died after a couple of year so I decided to grab this in a Thingdrop. And I surprisingly love it. I am very picky with pillows but I think this is a great pillow. The zippers seem odd until you try them. It really gives you the option of soft medium or hard, but it's so easy to do. I am personally like a medium to soft pillow person and the double open zipper works best for me. I really do recommend this pillow! The pillow protector was not for me though, it is very thick and it is also tight so it did not allow me to utilize the double open zipper option.

I was expecting a fluffier/softer pillow but it's actually super stiff regardless of whether you have it fully zipped or unzipped. I'm mainly a side sleeper and I had it fully zipped the first couple nights but it was too low and hard, so I unzipped it on one side which is better height-wise but still stiff, so then I unzipped it all the way and it STILL manages to be rock hard and unsupportive. I have to shove my hand under my pillow in order to get any support. And sleeping on your back is just asking to break your neck. It doesn't feel like memory foam at all. My previous pillow was memory foam that was soft and cushy but still very supportive. This pillow is both unsupportive and, again, rock hard regardless of how you've adjusted it. While I do actually like the stiffer pillow case as it feels super durable and good quality, I covered it with a silk pillowcase to better match our bedding and to help with skin & hair smoothness. While I appreciate the innovation behind the product, it needs some major improvements. I gave this pillow a 2 week trial run and woke up feeling like someone took an axe to my neck and shoulder this morning so I will be switching back to my previous pillow. Overall way overhyped.

I really love this pillow - particularly the fact that I can adjust firmness levels simply by zipping/unzipping instead of having multiple pillows to hit each level of firmness. The packaging was cute and well done. I also love that it actually stays (mostly) cool. The only issue I have is the pillowcase - it's such a stark white that it really stands out on the bed and it's not the most comfortable thing. I think if the brand can work on the pillowcases, they'll have even more success!

Very nice pillow! I have a habit of scrunching my pillows when I sleep, and they eventually deform, but this one totally keeps its shape and fluffs up really nicely after every use. I like that the soft/firmness is adjustable too so I can adjust it exactly for me. The protector for the pillow is also very nice maybe it could be a little softer as it feels kind of stiff.

I LOVE the packaging and the pillow cover/protector! well thought out design, but I do wish it was firmer....it's genius to be able to zip/unzip for more firmness and fluffiness but as I was sleeping my head kept making huge indents? and when I would wake up there was a hole where my head was lol even at the most firm option

I have been on the hunt for a perfect pillow and so far, this has been working for me. I am a hot sleeper and sometimes I toss and turn, so I wake up with neck pain. This pillow allows for me to just plop down and fall asleep. I really like the zipper use to customize my preference, but I do just keep it all zipped. I will also say that I alternate between side and back sleeping and this was comfortable both ways.

Huge fan! I got it for my bf's birthday and its now his fav pillow.

Very comfortable and high quality pillow! Took away one start b/c "adjustable" to me means being able to add/remove filling not just vent/unvent. I do believe it feels cooler to sleep on but I use an eye mask which can make sleeping hot so it's harder to tell. Maybe they should make a cooling eye mask :-)

This is a very nice good-quality pillow and cover. I've slept on this for about a week now, trying out the different levels of support. Its highest support setting (both sides zipped) still offers enough softness for a good night's sleep without leaving any stiffness in my neck. Its lowest support (both sides unzipped) still provides, well, support (!) without feeling like your head immediately hits the mattress through the plushness. I didn't experience a noticeable difference with either setting, but I'm a good (and heavy) sleeper. In other words, it strikes a nice balance of being plush and supportive. Overall, a nice pillow I'll continue to sleep on. I'm glad it was offered at such a generous Thingdrop discount (thank you, Marlow!) so I could check it out, otherwise this would have been out of my price range for what I'd spend on a single pillow.

Totally love this brand. I was in the market for new pillows and having trouble making a decision when a Thingdrop happened to come along for their pillows. I’m so happy I purchased one because it’s so comfortable! It’s nice because it’s easily adjustable too - something that’s perfect for someone who is indecisive like me when trying to figure out which type of pillow to purchase in terms of firmness. Their branding is also really clean.

So far so good with Marlow. Super well done packaging and the pillow is very comfortable. I was hoping the zipping feature to tweak the pillow’s comfort level would be a bit more noticeable but it’s not. That said it is a lovely pillow and feels very well made and is still great to use - just don’t expect a massive difference.

I really wanted to love this pillow. I loved the concept of being able to customize the firmness/plushness, but unfortunately even with both sides unzipped (the "plushiest" setting) it's still a bit too firm for my taste, and I typically like pillows on the firmer side! I find it most comfortable when I sleep on my back, but I tend to sleep mostly on my side throughout the night and the pillow becomes less comfortable. If I was a true back sleeper, I'd give this a 4/5 or maybe even a 5/5. The saving grace is that this pillow really is cooling! I sleep very hot and find that most cooling pillows don't work as advertised, but this one really hits the mark. Some reviewers mentioned a strong odor - mine had none.

I bought this for my husband who is a super night sweater! His feedback is that it's very comfortable; perfect level of firmess for him. Much more cooling than other foam options we have tried before. With that said my husband still sweats (so it's not a 100% magic solution) BUT it's much much better. Thank you Marlow!
