Kiehl’s earns largely positive reviews as reliably effective—standouts like Ultra Facial Cream, Midnight Recovery Concentrate, Crème de Corps, Facial Fuel, and Avocado Eye Cream hydrate, smooth texture, and revive winter-parched skin—yet the brand draws criticism for heavy textures on some products, strong sunscreen scent, and inconsistent results for acne or eye concerns. Reviews also flag lower “natural” ingredient rankings and frequent comments about high cost, while praising long-wear hydration, gentle formulas for sensitive skin, iconic scents like Musk, and giftable classics.

the avocado eye cream is a staple in this household. a little bit really does go a long way. Only qualm with that is I've never actually finished a container before it kind of goes bad.
I use their midnight recovery concentrate (the blue glass bottle) for over 6 years now and still love it. I usually will use this during the winter time when the air starts getting dry. When I first bought this, the shop clerk explained to me how they do experiments in the driest areas of the world. I tried it and it sure does work. After 3,4 drops onto the face and gently massaging it, the next morning your skin feels soft and moist. I even used it for my 6 year old son who had a very bad dry skin on his hands and it got better within a few days. Definitely one of the products I rebuy. It also lasts long since you're only putting small drops.
I received a sample of the Ultra Facial Cream with SPF and I like it! I don't think I would purchase at full price simply because I don't find the product size worth the cost. Outside of that, it's a great product!

Absolute favorite “splurge” skincare & it isn’t even that much of a splurge! I’ve tried a ton of their products and have enjoyed all of them. I’ve struggled with dry, acne prone skin and it’s been a huge challenge to find the correct products and Kiehls is the perfect match! My entire family now uses Kiehls - they really have something for everyone.

Very nice products, but non as nice as their musk scent. So juicy and delicious.
Kiehl's is a staple for many but as a skincare junkie I just think there's more exciting brands out there. I didn't feel much of a difference when using the avocado eye cream and for $60 dollars it wasn't worth a repurchase. Interestingly, my brother really likes the olive oil shampoo!

The eye cream is beautiful - absorbs really well, lasts a long time and does very slightly colour correct. Quite expensive, but worth it if you can afford it.
Kills products have been around for a very long time and it’s no wonder they are amazing and they smell great and they last a long time. They are definitely worth the money for the luxury product.
Its alright
The Calendula Toner kept my skin extremely glowy!
Great gifts and a luxurious feel at a gym when I don’t have to think about paying for it myself, but I wouldn’t necessarily buy this for my own home. There are products that are equally effective and luxurious that don’t cost this much. But there is brand cache, they deserve credit for that!
I've used a lot of Kiehl's products, my favorites being the facial cream, the Midnight Recovery Concentrate, and the Musk eau de toilette spray. I really love the unique and dark scents of Musk, they're androgynous and the scent evolves and lasts a long time. Kiehls is such an old school brand that has done well with modern styles, but the Musk feels like such a lovely throwback.
I love all of their products. My husband uses a few regularly. They rank quite poorly in terms of natural ingredients. If that's your thing, I wouldn't touch it.
Kiehl's feels like one of those skincare brands that's lasted a long time because their products are genuinely good. Everything I've tried, I've liked - the Midnight Recovery Concentrate is gorgeous, and my husband always buys the Oil-Free Moisturiser at the airport. I also love that they are generous with samples.

Their ultra-facial cream used to be my go-to moisturizer every day throughout high school. It did the job well and lasted a long time. The only reason I switched to others is because it's overpriced for what it is (imo) and I think my skin needed a change.
I've used Kiehl's and was pretty happy with how moisturized my face felt.
Their hand cream is amazing, helps to keep my dry cuticles in check. It is on the pricier side but worth it if you have consistently dry hands. Their Ultra Facial cleanser didn't do much for me, face felt too dry afterwards and their cream felt too heavy - probably because I prefer gel-creams.
I've tried everything from the Ultra Facial Cream, the Midnight Recovery Oil, Creme de Corps, Daily UV Sunscreen. I didn't think much to the anti-ageing products, I think there's better medical grade options on the market, but for mid-range price point they're products that are great if you're looking for entry-level into skincare. I would repurchase the Creme de Corps, as it's very hydrating but without an overpowering fragrance.
I love that Kiel's products are quite universal for different skin types, like their Ultra Facial line ( even my boyfriend agreed to use it 😅). Hydrating products are hydrating, but I never had a wow effect from them. I do love their masks, though! The avocado mask saves my skin on vacations, I use it every evening after a long day in the sun and calendula calming mask.
I've been using the Dark Circle Reducing Vitamin C Eye Serum for a few months now and have gotten positive results. I was applying every night but it was drying my eyes out, adding in a moisturizer and applying every other night has helped a ton.
