Juliet Wine is a stylish, eco-minded boxed-wine brand whose reviews say it generally works as an easy, picnic-ready option: strength lies in its chic, sustainable packaging and long post-open shelf life, but reviewers often find the wine itself uneven — sometimes flat, oxidized, or overly sweet — and not consistently worth full price.

  • The wine is great and the packaging is genius! Huge fan and it's also a hit to bring over to friends' places.

  • Ecologically sound packaging, well-designed and pleasing to the eye as well... and of course, good wine as well! What more can you ask for... Does take up a bit of room in the fridge if you don't use it all in one go but who's fault is that?!?

  • The vibes are immaculate, and the packaging looks cool, but the wine was just fine (I got the pinot noir)! Nothing to really write home about, and would probably purchase a bottle of better tasting wine for a better price.

  • I thought it was just ok. I did get this on the thingdrop discount, which is the only reason why I tried it. lt wasn't something that felt or tasted novel to me, and for that reason, I'll likely just keep buying a cheap wine from my local wine shops and skip the high price ($45.99 + $10 for shipping and $5 for tax). Not to mention about half way through, i just took the bag out of the box because i had a little trouble getting it to come out.

  • Got the rosé box from a thingdrop and brought it to a beach house weekend with friends. Unfortunately, the flavor was so bad that we didn't even try finishing it. I can't speak for the other flavors, but I do wish we got something easier like the pinot noir. I really wanted to like the brand for their sustainable and chic packaging and am really bummed to give a low rating.

  • This is a great product and I love the beautiful packaging! It is very convenient to take as a gift. The only problem was the punch hole in the front was already semi-pushed in and I wouldn’t want to purchase it for a gift and the packaging is defective.

  • I was first introduced to "elevated" bagged wine through Mai Vino, so I've been comparing Juliet Wine to them a lot. I tried this wine through a Thingdrop. Compared to Mai Vino, it has a lot more packaging from the cardboard cylinder & carry rope that hold the wine bag. The packaging is very beautiful, though, and it does make for a great gift. I have to say - the eco-friendly aspect that Juliet Wine centers its marketing around applies to all bagged wines, and the "eco-friendliness" ends there. Mai Vino, on the other hand, pushes the eco-friendly aspect further and specializes in organic wines and creates wines from surplus grapes. Through the Thingdrop discount, I tried the rosé. The wine is really good, but I don't think that I will be purchasing again for myself. I would definitely recommend this for friends and perhaps would purchase again as a host(ess) gift.

  • Convenient, delicious, and easily portable for summer months! I can see Juliet being a solid go-to for the warmer months as I need easy options for park and outdoor activities. My only complaint is that the rose/white container doesn't also include a sort of insulated packaging that keeps it cooler when removed from the fridge, given those need to be chilled and the quantity makes it challenging to drink before it's warmed.

  • I ordered the Pinot and Rose but have only tried the Rose so far. It's okay - Not the best rose I've had but it was pretty good! The packaging made it super easy to serve and it really did last for a few weeks (I was drinking a glass on my own from time to time since my husband isn't a rose fan). It's a good brand for a dinner party or slow solo drinker, in my opinion :)

  • I have really come around on boxed wine and this was at the top of my list! I ordered the rose and it was crisp and well balanced. The little handle on the box was cute, though I didn't get to use it because we opened and finished it in one week in my house. Would buy again for a picnic or event if they end up carrying in stores. Don't love shipping alcohol so that is my only critique

  • Really loving the idea of elevating the arena of “boxed” wine. This was a lovely rose and the packaging was top notch - totally enjoyed taking this to a pool party and having a glass free life with lovely wine.

I do think the price is reasonable given the quantity and quality. But in a world of super affordable and great tasting rose - I think this brand could be a bit too high priced.

  • I really enjoyed the idea of this product. The packaging is super functional and fun. The shipping time was reasonable and the package was thoroughly bubble wrapped to prevent damage!

The wine wasn’t bad but was not my favorite. I wish they had more options!

  • I purchased the sauvingnon blanc. The shipping was quick and the packaging a delight! I stuffed the empty container with dog toys and my pups loved tearing it apart. The wine, however, was not for me. I would not purchase again.

  • I tried the rose from Juliet and really enjoyed it! I'm not a "wine person," but I thought the wine was tasty. I love how they take the classic boxed wine and put an aesthetically pleasing and eco-friendly twist on it. I put this out at a dinner party and a lot of guests were intrigued by it and thought the wine was really good!

    Feedback

I'm not sure if I would order this again, despite enjoying it, just because it is a little on the pricey side.
