I'm giving 3 stars and not lower because I'm not sure if this is an acquired taste or is more similar to other cultural foods that I'm not actively aware of. Personally, I didn't enjoy them - while the three flavors and spices are great, the rough, grainy texture and dryness of the biscuits made them difficult to fully appreciate the flavors. I thought to also give them another shot and try them with coffee & tea, just in case that is how they are meant to be eaten, but even then they stayed just as dry. Great flavors though, and great nutrition. While I would recommend them to a friend, I would definitely add a caveat of my experiences with the product.

The first interaction I had with the Floof team was a thoughtful, proactive email on possible shipping issues. They sent it before I had even received the package, so I really appreciate the forethought! (All I had were some teeny tiny ones and I honestly don't mind them at all) The packaging itself is awesome - aluminum bottles and you can order pumpless refills (as pumps are not recyclable). It's also so pretty hanging out in the tub. While others have brought up the limited lather, I personally don't mind - I've also heard that lather is not a real indicator of cleansing power. It's nice that there's a two-step process, which makes sense as our own hair benefits most from the same two-step process as well. It's also amazing that it's formulated by a veterinary dermatologist - I've been growing more and more concerned with the pet products that I use for my dog, and I don't have to worry as much with Floof. The shampoo and conditioner have a very mild smell - some people may not like this, but I really really do. With other shampoos, my dog smells very different and sometimes overly perfumed. With Floof, my dog smells neutral and just like a cleaner version. (: My dog's coat has also been staying clean for longer and is so so shiny. I simply can't recommend Floof enough!! Even without the Thingdrop discount, I would say it's also worth the price. I'd love to see bigger sizes, as people with larger dogs have to use a lot. (:

I got the Thingdrop discounted pack of the spray and lotion in SPF 50. Even at full price, this pretty sunscreen doesn't break the bank. It is effective, spreads well, and has a great mission - reef-friendly, non-aerosol sunscreen with no white cast. It also has a shelf life of THREE YEARS, which is longer than most sunscreens and we all know how we never use up the full bottle by the time summer is over. I also appreciate the donating to nonprofits aspect of Bask. The sunscreen packaging also looks great with its attractive, clean graphics and colors. The sunscreen itself has a pretty intense smell - it's a classic sunscreen smell, so if you like that then you'll like this. I am pretty sensitive to scents both skin-wise and nose-wise, so I usually opt for unscented formulas. This hasn't made me break out, but I do find myself reaching more for my Summer Camp sunscreen because of the strong smell. The lotion formulation is very easily spreadable, and the spray goes pretty far. I do have to say that it is a bit sticky and greasy/oily (another reason why I tend to reach more for Summer Camp). It's definitely still not as sticky and greasy as sunscreens from years prior. I would definitely still recommend this and I would purchase it again when I need a new sunscreen! UPDATE August 2023: I'm reaching the bottom of my Summer Camp sunscreen, and it's giving a horrendous white cast. Maybe I didn't shake the bottle enough per use, but I'm now reaching for my Bask sunscreen consistently. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars, the minus .5 stars is still for the scent. It's definitely the best sunscreen I've tried from the USA, given the U.S. FDA's limitations on sunscreens!

While you do need a lot of additional ingredients, the ones that are already included in the cake mix are high-quality and specialty foods. To be honest, they do not look very attractive if you just bake them according to the directions using only what is provided. The flavor is amazing though, and from trying just the Spiced Carrot Cake kit, I have faith that the others are just as good. I really appreciate the website because you can preview the steps that you need to take to bake it, and it's good to reference while you are in the grocery store (and you don't have to carry around the box). The packaging is really sleek and pretty. Great for gifting, whether baked or unbaked!

Did a first run test by stirring it into a 16 oz. milkshake - as a lactose intolerant person, this would normally have me in shambles. I experienced no discomfort for the whole day, and it definitely made a noticeable difference in my enjoyment of life post-meal. I had a taste of the milkshake before and after mixing the Fodzyme into it, and the taste was exactly the same - completely imperceptible. I feel like this is more effective than lactase alone, but the powder format limits its usage. I would not be able to use it in parcel food items such as arancini and dumplings, or food items that are not meant to be mixed like hard ice cream. Perhaps I could, but it might be less effective considering the directed use instructions. I feel that it's probably more amazing of a product for those who are affected by the issues beyond lactose - I've given packets to my friends who do have these less-common food sensitivities and will update later on. It is a little pricey though, so I'm not sure if maybe this is a first-of-its kind innovation that has a staggering initial startup cost that needs to be covered by first few rounds of purchases. On my end, I will probably continue taking my lactase pills due to the cost limitations, but it is definitely an effective product.

Judgment free and informative! While I have not used my tablet yet and hopefully will not need to, it shipped incredibly quickly and in discreet packaging. The whole brand is created with thoughtfulness, and it shows in the ease of navigation and use from the shipping packaging, product packaging, and the website I purchased from their Thingdrop discount, which contributes to their fund to distribute free Restart for anyone who needs it. While the cost for a Restart is steep, 1. it is comparable to Plan B and 2. if you are unable to afford it at full price, you can request one through their fund. Honestly, I couldn't speak more highly of Stix!

BIG DISCLAIMER: I am a very casual tequila drinker. I don't know all the ins and outs of tequila and I'm also not drinking tequila on the rocks. That being said, I also generally do not like tequila. It is probably my least favorite liquor. But this one was very drinkable and I enjoyed it in cocktails. The aftertaste isn't as horrible as most others, and is smooth. I remember hearing about Jaja way back when, knowing that it's started by the people behind F Jerry. It really has blown up since then, and I don't think most people who buy Jaja know about its founders. I think they did a great job of marketing it with the nice graphics and overall colorful aesthetic. I do remember reading an interview from the Coveteur where they very blatantly said that they have no background in the liquor scene, much less tequila specifically, and were inspired by the success of Casamigos for an easy cash grab. I haven't tried 818 and I'm far from a Kardashian stan, but I think this is one of the many interesting examples of a tequila brand owned by white men that get no backlash for being obvious money-making schemes vs the backlash that Kendall Jenner received (which mostly focused on her being white and appropriating). While I do think the criticism was valid, I think she really bore the brunt of it because she is a woman and because of the Kardashian name. Just an aside. Overall a good tequila and liquor in general. Feedback: They also have a very small blurb on their "About Us" page that talks about the eco-friendliness of Jaja. I think it would be nice to expand on this because it seems like a half-assed pandering afterthought.

I was first introduced to "elevated" bagged wine through Mai Vino, so I've been comparing Juliet Wine to them a lot. I tried this wine through a Thingdrop. Compared to Mai Vino, it has a lot more packaging from the cardboard cylinder & carry rope that hold the wine bag. The packaging is very beautiful, though, and it does make for a great gift. I have to say - the eco-friendly aspect that Juliet Wine centers its marketing around applies to all bagged wines, and the "eco-friendliness" ends there. Mai Vino, on the other hand, pushes the eco-friendly aspect further and specializes in organic wines and creates wines from surplus grapes. Through the Thingdrop discount, I tried the rosé. The wine is really good, but I don't think that I will be purchasing again for myself. I would definitely recommend this for friends and perhaps would purchase again as a host(ess) gift.

I've only tried the Carea Cream and the Speed Soak, but both are effective products and only get better with more use over time. The skincare inside is effective, and each packaging element is well-made and sturdy. They also look great sitting out on your counter or vanity. The products are also all fragrance-free. Love the sustainability aspect - the packaging of the products itself is made with sustainability in mind, and the shipping packaging is thoughtfully created with recyclability and a fantastic unboxing experience. Even though the products are geared towards skin issues like textured skin, KP, and eczema, the high quality and beautiful aesthetic make them great for gifting. Although the price is not cheap, Soft Services offers a luxury product that is also high performing. Their website is so fun to navigate, clean yet incredibly informative, and downright beautiful. They really have thought of everything that a user might want to know about the product - even including a feature that displays the actual size of products. Honestly, this entire brand is made with such careful thought and embodies one of my favorite principles of design, which is crafting for delight. To top it all off, the customer service is amazing. I've been watching them since they launched, and it's cool to see how they've evolved and expanded their product line and company while still staying true to the original brand vision and mission. I cannot speak highly enough about this brand and would recommend it to everyone - textured/irritated skin or otherwise.

I got the Kiramoon Star Jelly mask as part of a Thingdrop. The packaging is very cutesy, but I didn't find the included rubber-banded brush all that necessary or game-changing. The product dried out and burned my skin - to be fair, I have dry and sensitive skin and have found exfoliating products that do work for me without these effects through trial and error. I also haven't tried any of the other Kiramoon products. I will try it again another time, and maybe the result will be different - I will come back and edit if it is. I feel like this product is similar to the Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Babyfacial without BHA. The pump does make it very travel friendly, and the box that it came in was very pretty and it was fun to open. From looking at the website - a few improvements could be made, like including fl. oz. in the product info. I'm also not too sure why this product line exists. It's nice that a part of the proceeds go towards mental health nonprofits and I feel for the founder's message when she says that skincare really helped her calm down after her personal tragedies. But I'm not sure how this product line "matches the magical feeling of self-care" more than other brands do, especially when the packaging, aesthetic, and contents can be found in other brands (i.e. Glossier, Asian skincare lines in general) I really do appreciate the sentiment for this product line and I also am thankful to Thingtesting for offering this product at a discount for me to try! Sadly this one is a pass for me.
