Love the whole line. There's a learning curve to using it (I struggled the first few times) but once you get it, it's great. Quality shampoo that doesn't leave my hair feeling dry, and the new deep conditioner formulation is a winner. I prefer the screw tins rather than the squeeze, and my only complaint is that if you forget to loosen the lid or cap before you get your hands wet, expect to have to fully dry your hands and the container. Better ridges (like a gear shape) or something would help wet hands open these, even the squeeze tube caps could use a redesign for accessibility. I travel often, and the travel size tins are a constant in my dopp kit.

Overall, would recommend! There's a bit of a struggle to get product dispensed correctly without extra coming out. There's also a learning curve for how much product you actually need, it will be different from the directions given on the back of the tube. The smell is awesome and it has left my hair feeling really healthy and soft! I haven't noticed any radical changes but it is a great value when you consider how much product you get compared to ones with water as an ingredient. Also helpful for traveling! Shipping was super fast.

The theory is great but the actuallity is lacking. I ordered two shampoo and two conditioners thinking this would be wonderful stuff. Firstly, it takes more than a 1 inch strip to get even a little suds. In fact I could never really get a good feeling suds going. My hair was a tangled mess when I got it rinsed out. the conditioner was better as far as needing less and covering the hair well and it did get the tangles out quite well. However, my hair did not feel really clean after it was dry. I was really hoping that this was my final try for an eco-friendly shampoo but sadly it is not. Also, there is NO way I will get 30 shampoos out of a tube. sorry I wasn't a satisfied customer.

This isn't the first time I've ordered shampoos from this brand. As far as product quality is concerned, there's nothing to say, the shampoos are of good quality and the hair is all the better for it, but I can't say the same for the delivery service! When I placed my first order, there were a lot of delays, and I left a negative review which I later deleted after exchanging e-mails with the company's CEO, who kindly explained that the delays were due to high demand. In fact, I quickly deleted my review because my aim was not to harm this company but, on the contrary, to make constructive comments to help their delivery service evolve in the right direction. The last order I placed went wrong again. An unprofessional delivery because the company that organizes their delivery didn't do its job properly, which resulted in a delay, I actually sent an e-mail to the CEO in question to tell her what had happened with the delivery company she had trusted... no reply from her. Ok. What a surprise it was when I received my parcel and discovered that one of the items I had ordered and paid for was not in the package! I sent an e-mail, then a letter to inform them of this error..... again! It's been 5 days and I still haven't received any reply apart from a generic email informing me that they would get back to me as soon as possible as they had a lot of emails. Ok. I hope this review will allow me to get answers and a FAST solution because the last time it happened exactly the same way and I had to post on this site so that the CEO contacted me. It's sad to have to go through all this when all I ask as a customer is to be delivered ON TIME with a COMPLETE parcel. This brand absolutely needs to overhaul its delivery and logistics service. I understand that you're just starting out and that there are mistakes, but I find that you're starting to make a lot of mistakes, and above all I find it unacceptable that you respond so late to your customers.

Follow-up - company made it right!!!
I absolutely LOVE the body wash. So fun & unique and smells and feels amazing. Most body washes are 70% water... which is crazy because you're adding it to water in water! Their products are 100% plant based and water-free! The tube is so satisfying to turn in the shower and watch the concentrate turn to a thick nourishing body wash!
Feedback
I encourage you to look up the ingredients list & what the products free of on their site! It's pretty great... and a simple way to make your shower routine more fun!
I love this conditioner! It's rich and conditions well without weighing down my hair and does a decent job fighting off the frizz I get from hard water. Sidenote: when it comes out of the tube it has the faintest smell and it's a little reminiscent of dog shampoo. It doesn't last and certainly doesn't hang out in the hair, but if your super sensitive to smells; be prepared. I like the whole experience and will probably buy this conditioner again.
I would give this brand 6/5 stars if I could, I absolutely love this brand. I love the mission, the packaging was all recycled and nothing was included that didn't need to be included. I got the conditioner, and used it for the first time yesterday. I wasn't totally sure how much to use, so I think that'll take a little time getting used to, but it was great. It didn't smell that strong in the bottle, but on my hair it smelled really pepperminty. I'm so excited to keep using this, and I'm going to get the shampoo now too!

I really wanted to love this as I'm in the market for new clean shampoo and conditioner. I really like the concept and the objectives of the company, but the shampoo left my hair greasy. I tried the shampoo and conditioner four times with the hope that I did something wrong the first few times, but every time it left behind residue. I was very surprised by this as I wasn't using much product, and I spent more time than usual trying to rinse it out. I really disappointed that these didn't work for me as I saw so many positive reviews and really like the idea! Otherwise, the smells were subtle but very nice, and I liked the amount of lather. The packaging is great and minimal, although the tins are a bit hard to open in the shower.
I was very excited to get to try this out through ThingTesting. I have curly, coarse hair and it has been a lifelong journey to find the right combination of conditioners, cremes, gels and shampoos that don't dry out my hair more and make the curls come alive. I had fairly low expectations venturing into the Everist conditoner. I like the concept, the packaging, the key to squeeze the tube along. I initially didn't like the scent, but it didn't linger and wasn't as overpowering as I thought it would be. It's sort of minty, but not overwhelming. I wish my hair liked this conditioner as much as I did, but alas it made my hair feel very dry and did nothing for my curls. For all of you with "normal' hair, I believe you will find this to be very enjoyable.
I purchased the shampoo and conditioner set. I have tried a number of different shampoos over the years such as cowashes and solid shampoo bars. My hair is fine and damaged at the ends from bleach, my scalp is very oily so I wash my hair every day. I was really enjoying the eco factor of the solid bars and randomly saw an ad for Everist. I was intrigued by the product so decided to try. Firstly, the price was pretty high but the mention of ‘concentrate’ gave me hope that the product would last me a while with my fin, shoulder length hair. The packaging is cool and the finicky lid and metal tube didn’t deter me. The shampoo did clean my hair well, but during the lathering it instantly knotted up my hair, the low amount of lather makes the product difficult to disperse all through the hair and i found it hard to tell if I had managed to clean all of my hair. I then tried the conditioner, now that my hair felt super knotty I was stuck between wanting to use a small amount to get maximum uses out of the tube but also I wanted to be able to untangle the knotted mess on my head. I carefully worked the conditioner through my hair and found that it didn’t feel very conditioning. On drying my hair it was clean and felt like normal. I think my issue with this product is it seems like they have created a totally new thing that never needed to exist. If they were truly concentrates then water could be added and the products used like normal products, but what they are is more like a skincare product for your hair which you end up having to use a similar amount to your regular shampoo while struggling with a product that is difficult to use. I watched a demo YouTube video where the person had similar hair to mine and they used probably half the amount of product that I had been using, it wasn’t lost on me that this person’s hair looked oily. I tried with the reduced amount and thought that I had managed to make it work… until I dried my hair and found it was super oily. I am a bit miffed at the large number of positive reviews for this product and makes me a bit suspicious, i haven’t seen any mentions of hair feeling really knotty when using the shampoo as I have found every day that I use it. So, after much consideration I have decided it’s a no from me.

When the brand first launched, I bought the 3 pack of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. At the time, I wasn't very impressed - it was cool in concept (waterless concentrated body care), but the execution wasn't the greatest beyond the aluminum tube and recyclable cap. When it had first launched, not many other beauty companies were focused on packaging sustainability, and Everist focused a lot of their marketing efforts on educating about the infinite recyclability of aluminum (and not so much on their formulas - something that they've even talked about during their recent marketing email!). The actual product itself was lacking, though, even though the ingredients were impressive. And the conditioner was especially a horrible experience, making my hair extremely dry. I love the brand's commitment to listening to their customers' concerns - they revamped their formulations and have also released tin packages. I was able to try the revamped Deep Conditioning Concentrate through a Thingdrop and I'm so so impressed at the difference between its first iteration and now. It works better than my fully liquid/bottle pump conditioners, and has a very pleasant texture and smell (especially compared to the first version). I've also seen that they've revamped the Shampoo concentrate as well with even better ingredients, and I'm super excited to try that in the near future! As someone who breaks out with most other shampoos, I can only really use something like SEEN haircare. But the original shampoo and both the conditioners have not broken me out, so again, very excited to try the new shampoo. I'm under the impression that the body wash formula hasn't changed, and I remember really enjoying that one. It foams up really well so it's just as great or even better than most liquid body washes. I've only tried these in tube forms, so I can't say much about the tin packaging, but I'd imagine that they are better for travel. The tiny cap sometimes bothers me in the shower and it can take a few tries to screw on just right. Otherwise, love love love this brand and its commitment towards sustainability, great formulas, and listening to their customers!
I decided to give this brand a go. So far I have tried the shampoo and conditioner. Both smell nice and it’s pretty easy to use. The tube is a bit weird as the key doesn’t twist it evenly so I’m worried I’m losing product. I have hair that is slightly longer than shoulder length so the 1” of product doesn’t quite work, especially for the conditioner. I’m probably at almost a 1.5 to 1 ratio on conditioner to shampoo which sucks (because it’s not different from just bottled stuff in that sense). Shipping is terrible. I expect it’s great if you’re in Toronto but, being in Alberta, it takes up to 2 weeks to reach me when it’s in stock. I fully believe it’s a problem of the company (FleetOptics) but it basically discourages me from wanting to continue buying. Generally I feel like the product is good for my hair otherwise. UPDATE: Shipping pain is resolved. Been using this stuff for months and I love it. Also love the body wash too. Don’t get the tubes. Get the tins. Way easier to dispense.

Love love love! My favourite thing about Everest is the travel sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash because they are so compact but have lasted me through multiple trips already! Usually a travel sized generic brand only lasts me 1-2 trips. Love the idea behind the brand & love the brand <3 the smell is also yum and makes my hair so soft !

I bring my Everist shampoo and conditioner everywhere. My hair always looks so soft and shiny when I use it and it’s ultra manageable - great for when you’re travelling. Smells great too. I’m an avid shampoo bar user and this fits the bill as well as fills a gap on the conditioner front.

Leaves my hair feeling super soft and doesn’t weigh it down like other products! Would really recommend for fine and thin hair.

I love Everist products so much! All my life I’ve suffered from a sensitive scalp and other shampoos have always causes irritation. Everest is the first shampoo that actually soothes my scalp. I’m so happy to have finally found something that works for me. Plus it’s eco-friendly! What’s not to love <3

As a sustainability-minded gal, I've been using (and constantly on the hunt for) environmentally conscious products for years. I've tried more shampoo and conditioner bars than I can count, so when I stumbled upon Everist, it completely changed my haircare game. Not only do I feel good about using the products (and LOVE that it is Canadian), but I love how my hair looks, feels and smells! So much so that it is probably the shampoo/conditioner combo I've used the longest since making the switch from traditional bottled products. If you're looking for a quality product that puts planet and people first, Everist is it.

I recently discovered Everist through a radio commercial and was instantly intrigued! My hair type is moderately thick and quite long, which often requires me to use quite a bit of product. I wasn’t sure what to expect, considering this product is a concentrate, however I was pleasantly surprised with how such a small amount of the shampoo and conditioner went a long way. As a result, my hair has and continues to feel healthy and nourished!

Absolutely love the Everist products. I have recommended to all my friends and family. The conditioner is my absolute fav, to use as a hair mask as well. Recently in love with the shampoo / body wash as well. It took 1-3 tries of the shampoo to get the hang of it (as a concentrated shampoo newbie) but now i love it. Your hair feels so healthy and soft! Highly recommend you try it out - you’ll be hooked!
