I had a nice time making the Caker’s Carrot Cake mix on a lazy Sunday. Even after factoring in the extra prep steps, like grating carrots, I felt like it was so easy and had a high payoff! The finished product tasted homemade and was the perfect size for a small get-together. I’m not sure I’d pay full price for this mix, since it is quite pricey. I also didn’t think that the caramel topping added a lot in terms of flavor, and I struggled to make a pretty pattern because I cut the corner of the bag bigger than I meant to. But all in all, I enjoyed making and eating this cake!

I received the Dusen Dusen Subus from their collab with MoMA for Christmas and they are glorious. Extremely comfortable, memory-foam like material on the inside, and a study sole that I feel comfortable wearing outside for brief trips to the mailbox. Plus, they are such a fun print!

I have sensitive skin so I’m anxious to see if this causes breakouts, but too early to tell at this time. The packaging is super cute but because it’s a matte container, I’m noticing that it gets very greasy after use.

I’ve been using the slug balm for about a week and I’m impressed so far. My skin is noticeably softer after using it post-moisturizer before bed. 

I think overall these are a little dry - if they came with something like a garlic dipping sauce on the side, they would be incredible. But I still enjoyed the concept and I would order again or pick up from the store if they are on sale. 

Tasty and unique! I followed the Pro Tip on the package (thaw for 30-60 minutes before baking) to prepare these, and they were worth the wait overall. The cheese is gooey and tastes fresh, and the crust is flaky! I was nervous about ordering something frozen but they arrived cold with plenty of dry ice left. 

I tried the Barbie pink lemonade from a Thingdrop and although I enjoyed it, it’s probably not a flavor I would seek out again. Like others, I was surprised at the lack of carbonation - perhaps that’s just this flavor, but I do think some fizz would’ve made this more pleasing to drink. I felt like it wasn’t overly sweet, which was nice. Actually, I would’ve preferred a bit more tartness. One positive was the packaging! The design was super cute and the matte label was pleasing to hold.

I go through phases where I avoid dairy, so I’ve tried my fair share of dairy alternatives. I cooked these Wholly Veggie truffle mozzarella-style sticks in the air fryer per package instructions and definitely had some leakage, but I was already impressed with how much it looked like real cheese. Although truffle is not my favorite flavor, I really enjoyed these. When paired with the included Marinara sauce, they were really enjoyable in terms of taste and texture. The outsides got nice and crisp and the insides were perfectly gooey.

Really enjoying using the Buffer Jelly after I cleanse and moisturize before bed! I wake up and my skin feels super soft, which I love. I do think the bottle is a little rigid which makes it hard to squeeze out the gel. A flexible tube might be easier!

I had such a fun time designing my cadence set! Shipping was quick and they came well packaged. I’ve taken my Cadence set on a few trips and they have worked out fabulously for hair products, skincare, and meds. I do think if you travel for longer time, the newer larger capsules might be a better fit, but these have been great for weekend and shorter trips!

I tried Willa’s Dark Chocolate oat milk and really enjoyed it! The flavor was rich and bold enough to stand up to espresso when I made an iced latte with it. I always get nervous ordering liquids online, but it was packaged with care. My one complaint is that I found it didn’t froth particularly well, when compared to my go-to brand. I’ll have to try the Barista next to see if that’s better!

Finally tried a Scrub Daddy after thinking “how great could these really be” for several years. I was wrong! I’m really liking how they clean my dishes, and they seem like they’ll last a long time. Tip: check your Costco for a multipack for a cheaper price!
