I just finished off my first jar of Fly by Jing Sichuan chili crisp! The actual chilis, garlic bits, and shallots are absolutely delicious; they add excellent flavor and texture to a wide range of dishes. However, I found the oil itself to be surprisingly bland. To improve this product, I would increase the crisp-to-oil ratio!
I have tried a lot of plant-based yogurts. Cocojune is the only one where I genuinely think it tastes better than regular yogurt. The creaminess from the coconut tastes absolutely decadent, and, to me, the flavor of the coconut is perfectly subtle and not overpowering. The texture is spot-on as well. I also appreciate that the packaging is mainly paper as opposed to plastic. The flavored yogurts are delicious as well; my favorite is the strawberry-rhubarb one. Ingredients in the yogurt are also simple and straightforward, which is awesome!
I rave about Chunks to my friends & family ALL the time! Their products are my absolute favorite gift to give, especially for my friends with extremely thick or long hair. I have yet to find a hair clip that holds hair as well as these. I have even accidentally stepped on my clips before, and they haven't broken - they are extremely robust! My thick, coarse-haired friends literally swear by these clips; no other brand compares. The clips come in a variety of sizes to fit a wide variety of hair lengths. Plus, the wide range of whimsical colors (and extremely cute product names) are SO creative and fun!! I get compliments on my (excessive amount) of clips all the time. My favorite part of the website is the "Oopsies" section where you can find clips with cosmetic imperfections at a lower price. I love this business model because, not only does this allow more people to purchase and utilize the product, but it eliminates acetate waste too! The brand is also woman-owned, so that's another added bonus!
Overall, could not recommend this brand enough. If you want to add a little ~spice~ or color to your outfits, colorful and funky hair accessories from Chunks are the perfect way to do it!
I have been wearing the Quarter Socks for about a week now, and I'm very impressed. I didn't notice how supportive they were until I wore another brand of socks during a workout; I could truly feel a difference. The support is comparable to my Smartwool socks that I wear hiking, but these are half the price, so much more reasonable to wear on an every-day basis. I would definitely recommend these!
Banza's pizza is an excellent choice for gluten-free individuals. The crust is nice and crispy, similar to a glutinous thin crust pizza!
I have also had good experience with Banza's pasta noodles; in addition to being a gluten free, higher protein option, the texture is much better than other gluten free pastas that I have tried. Although not exactly analogous to glutinous pasta, the texture is much closer than other bean/lentil pastas that I've tried.
I can ALWAYS find something that fits me well when I walk into Gap. They have great basics, and usually pretty good sales. Their activewear has held up really well for me as well! However, I find that product quality is inconsistent; sometimes I have products which last a long time, while others fall apart after only a few washes.
This is the only brand of reusable silicone bags that I have found which withstand prolonged use, and have never become warped in the dishwasher. Over time, the seal does not deteriorate like some other brands I have used. However, I wish the products were cheaper; paying $20 for one bag feels a little unreasonable, but I suppose this evens out somewhat when you take into account that the bags basically last forever. Overall, would definitely recommend getting Stasher Bags if you are looking to reduce your plastic consumption, especially if they're on sale!
I bought a set of towels and a robe from this brand. Overall, the pieces are visually STUNNING and they make my bathroom look so funky and eclectic! However, for the price point, I think the quality could definitely be better; my robe has significant snags in it from being washed, and I've only had it for two months.
The formulation of Eco Lips' Mongo Kiss lip balm is fantastic; it is perfectly moisturizing without feeling sticky/goopy. Their flavors are unique, and I haven't tried one that I didn't like. The stick of lip balm itself is also really thick, which I really like because I don't feel like I need 10+ swipes in order to sufficiently cover my lips. Would highly recommend this brand!
I wish I had enough money to buy EVERY single one of this brand's items!! Every item I have purchased, from reusable grocery bags, purses, towels, laptop cases, travel items, to socks, is adorable and has stood up to significant use. I always get complimented on these items when I'm out in public using them! The way that the bags fold into their pouch is also really nice because it forces the bag to stay really flat during storage, saving space. My only suggestion to the brand would be to find a way to attach the reusable bag cover to the bag itself; I have lost a few of the covers because I tend to just throw them somewhere when I want to unfold the bag.
