Everist Reviews

4.1

Everist earns mixed reviews: its concentrated shampoo, conditioner, and body wash impress with fresh herbal scents, travel-ready tins/tubes, and results that leave many hair types soft, shiny, and clean, but others report greasy residue, dryness, scalp irritation, and a learning curve to find the right water-to-product ratio. Reviews praise eco-conscious aluminum packaging, minimal waste, and long-lasting formulas, yet note hard-to-open lids, tricky caps, inconsistent lather, and some products underperforming on thick, curly, or color-treated hair.

  • Was very interested to try Everist when I learned about it through the Thingdrop! The Shower Essentials Travel Kit concentrates has completely replaced my old travel bottles. They are more sleek, take up less space, and I don't have to worry about anything spilling. It took me a second to figure out how to use the product, but one or two tries I got it down pat. I kept the body sponge and dry brush at home and really enjoy both. The Dry brush bristles were a bit harsher than the other drybrush I had, but I felt a difference with my skin right away.

  • It is an adjustment to use this product. It is very thick and even with the help of the tube key, the shampoo is incredibly hard to get out. The caps are hard to place back on when wet as well. The actual formula for the shampoo is great. I love the scent and gentle cleansing. The conditioner is not quite moisturizing enough for my wavy hair. Will purchase the shampoo again!

  • I first saw this company when they came to the market with their shampoo concentrates. It was an interesting concept back then. I am not a huge fan of the metal toothpaste tube packaging as there is so much waste and frustration even with the tool. I also feel like i still have to use just as much. So this time, I decided to try some of their other products. The body washes feel really nice and the clips are very pretty! I am excited to try out the body oil once mine runs out!

  • As someone who travels with carry-on only, I am always looking for ways to minimize the amount of liquids I bring. The shampoo and conditioner concentrate are a great way to do this! The travel tins that the travel-size products come in are more than enough for a 1-2 week trip, depending on how often you wash your hair. My hair needs a lot of moisture, and the conditioner worked great. I have tried liquid-free shampoo and conditioner bars, and the Everist shampoo concentrate works comparably to those. I have always struggled with conditioner bars, and the Everist conditioner concentrate works significantly better than those. I would highly recommend these products for anyone who is looking to minimize liquids in their carry-on luggage. The Body Oil spritz was also a good product, but I would not pay full price for it again. It smells great (very woodsy, citrus essential oil smells), but I did not feel like it performed significantly better than a standard lotion. I also found the spray bottle annoying to use; I would try to spray the oil on my legs, and it would accidentally end up all over the floor.
