Drunk Elephant earns mixed-to-positive reviews: many users see real improvements in glow, texture, and hydration from standouts like Protini Polypeptide Cream, C-Firma/C-Firma Fresh, Virgin Marula Oil, B‑Hydra, and T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial, while playful, hygienic pump packaging appeals. However, reviews also cite frequent downsides—overpriced feel, bulky plastic and hard-to-empty packaging, sensitivity reactions or breakouts (especially with Babyfacial and some moisturizers), inconsistent results, greasy textures, and bronzing drops that can be messy or clog. Buy if you want clean, active formulas and iconic heroes; skip if you have very sensitive skin or dislike heavy packaging and premium pricing.

They did a really great job advertising the brand, but some of their products were hard on my sensitive skin.
The first time I used Babyfacial, I loved it. The second time, my face broke out in a rash. Possibly too harsh for sensitive skin.
Drunk Elephant Mellow Marula Cream Cleanser is a solid, gentle cleanser that's well-suited for sensitive or dry skin. It has a creamy, smooth texture that didn't strip my skin. My skin felt leaving hydrated and soft after washing the cleanser off. The formula is fragrance-free, which is a plus. I prefer when a skincare product is not heavily scented because some break me out. It includes Marula oil, which is known for its moisturizing and antioxidant properties, and it does a good job of removing light makeup and impurities without irritating. However, while it's effective for daily cleansing, it may not be strong enough for removing heavy makeup or sunscreen in one go. You may need a double cleanse if you're doing cosplay makeup looks because this cleanser is on the gentle side not like a makeup balm remover.
Overpriced and overhyped. Did nothing but strip my skin.

Love everything I've tried so far especially the face oil.

I have tried the macula serum, their whipped face cream, and a few other things, but have only been lastingly impressed by (and repurchased) the Sukari Babyfacial. That's a really excellent and harsh product. Really sloughs off dead skin to reveal new skin.

Their skincare products make me obsessed, especially their moisturizer, I loved it. I have tried their serum, facial oils and moisturizer but I have been impressed with their moisturizer.

The C tango is the one - rejuvenates my skin so well. And love the whipped cream. Packaging is fun. I do think there are better products out there at a lower price point but if you can afford it, go all in.
I used the vitamin C serum. It's sticky and smells metallic. I didn't like how it felt on my face and it would build up. Won't be repurchasing but I'd consider other products.
I just bought It the other day. The serum feels pretty Nice. So far so good
I'm not quite sure what the hype is? It's fine? But like definitely not worth the money. I've used their Protini lotion and the Babyfacial mask and didn't see much results from either. Definitely felt like a product that I bought just to show off in my bathroom.

The hype is real! Drunk Elephant makes some amazing products- My favorites are the eye serums and the C-Firma Line but I’ve been impressed with most of their serums as well. I took off a star because I wish their packaging wasn’t so wasteful (some are oversized and not recyclable).

Really liked their moisturizer but cost is too high

I have used the d-bronzi serum with the polypeptide moisturizer and the products are definitely high quality. I do think the bronzer serum leaves a bit of a greasy effect along with the glowy tint, however, the moisturizer does not. The application pump for the moisturizer dispenses a controllable amount of product too which helps me not overuse it.
Feedback
My d-bronzi tube gets pretty messy since the formula can get watery at times, so either a thicker formula or a different way to apply the product would be helpful.
Drunk Elephant’s Lala Retro Whipped Cream is my go-to when my skin needs serious moisture. The texture is rich but never greasy, and it sinks in beautifully. I use it at night or after sun exposure when my skin feels dry or stressed. It leaves my face soft, smooth, and balanced by morning. A little goes a long way, and it layers well with other products.
Drunk Elephant skincare is decent but feels overpriced for what it delivers. While some products, like the marula oil and the vitamin C serum, are nice, the results don’t always justify the hype or the premium price tag. The branding is fun and trendy, but the performance can be hit or miss depending on your skin type. It’s worth trying if you catch it on sale, but there are comparable options out there for less.
I like the packaging, not so much the product
I’ve tried most of Drunk Elephant’s products and have loved them all. They’re effective and great on my sensitive combination skin. Since I started using their products, I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin texture and complexion. My dermatologist was floored by how good my skin looked! Their products are insanely expensive though, so it’s not something I buy often and I’m always looking for good dupes. The few products I swear by are the C-Firma cream and Protini Polypeptide moisturizer. Drunk Elephant includes a lot of natural extracts from plants into their formulas which I’ve noticed really help my skin, and it makes them quite unique.
Prices are too high for the quality you can get elsewhere. The protini cream was not moisturizing but felt super greasy on top of my skin, didn't feel like it was absorbed at all. I like the jelly cleanser but there are a lot of other cleansers that are more affordable that do the same job.

At first I was not a believe because the brand is pretty expensive, but ive converted over to a few of their products and do really love them. Their face wash is GREAT for light makeup and the end of a summer day. Light, non irritating and leaves you squeekyyyy clean without feeling dry. And I also really am loving the miracle butter, which has all sorts of essential oils and is for super dry skin - I use it on my face and it doesnt leave my pore clogged but feels amazing as a super moisture pre sleep :)
