Reviews mention

  • Effective exfoliating mask results
  • Hydrating, luxurious moisturizers
  • Potent brightening vitamin c serum
  • Gentle, non‑irritating cleanser
  • Bulky, wasteful plastic packaging
  • Sticky, metallic vitamin c texture
  • Messy, watery bronzing drops
  • Harsh acids for sensitive skin

Drunk Elephant earns mixed-to-positive reviews: many users see real improvements in glow, texture, and hydration from standouts like Protini Polypeptide Cream, C-Firma/C-Firma Fresh, Virgin Marula Oil, B‑Hydra, and T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial, while playful, hygienic pump packaging appeals. However, reviews also cite frequent downsides—overpriced feel, bulky plastic and hard-to-empty packaging, sensitivity reactions or breakouts (especially with Babyfacial and some moisturizers), inconsistent results, greasy textures, and bronzing drops that can be messy or clog. Buy if you want clean, active formulas and iconic heroes; skip if you have very sensitive skin or dislike heavy packaging and premium pricing.

  • Have used this for the last few years and it’s a staple. I love that it’s so easily refillable. A little heavy for me to use during the day because I live in a humid climate but perfect for night time.

  • My go-to moisturizer at night the last few years. My skin has never looked better. Works well for my combination/oily/acne prone skin with no issues.

  • Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Ceramide Face Moisturizer is a rich and nourishing cream that delivers deep hydration without feeling heavy or greasy. Its blend of six ceramides, plant oils, and antioxidants helps strengthen the skin’s barrier while improving texture and smoothness. The formula absorbs well and leaves skin feeling soft, plump, and comfortable all day long. It’s especially great for dry or sensitive skin, helping to soothe and calm irritation while locking in moisture. The scent is light and non‑intrusive, and the packaging is sleek and hygienic. Overall, it’s an excellent daily moisturizer that truly supports healthy, hydrated skin.

  • I’ve been using the C-Firma Fresh Vitamin-C Day Serum for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. The “fresh mix” concept is actually a game changer—it feels more potent than other vitamin C serums I’ve tried, and I noticed a brighter, more even tone within the first couple of weeks. It absorbs quickly without feeling sticky, and layers well under moisturizer and SPF. My skin looks noticeably more radiant in the mornings, and some of my darker spots have started to fade. One thing I really appreciate is that it doesn’t irritate my skin like some vitamin C products can—no redness or tingling, just a clean, healthy glow. Tip: Definitely store it in a cool place and use it consistently in the morning with sunscreen to get the best results. Overall, this has earned a permanent spot in my routine.

  • I really enjoy this product. It gives my skin a glowy look while cleaning my pores. I enjoy the exfoliation, it’s a bit tingling and a bit burning too, but nothing too bad. I tried using this product for less than 20 min. This product is an effective chemical peel. I do not use it quite often because I’m scared of damaging my skin barrier, so I use it once a month. The bottle cap has control and dispenses only the product needed so it prevents waste. Overall, this product works better than I expected.

  • great shade with a little shimmer and lasts forever, though the pump can get a little clogged up at times. easy to blend on the skin with minimal transfer. the minis are great for holiday gifts as well.

  • I tried a sample of Drunk Elephant's Ceramighty AF Eye Cream years ago. I liked how moisturized my skin felt for the first month after trying it, but after purchasing this product and possibly a different similar product from their line I found the results were mixed and not as long-lasting as I would've wanted. I found an alternative moisturizer that contains vitamin C and retinol which works better for my skin type. I did enjoy that this product was free of essential oils, fragrance and alcohols though.

  • I really love the clean formulas and the packaging. My skin drinks this up—DE has truly mastered clean, effective skincare. The Protini and C-Firma are definitely standouts. High quality! Worth the splurge!

  • I’ve tried a few of their products - some are underwhelming but I’ve returned again and again to the Slaai makeup remover. I’ve tried other foaming/wash off removers but usually need 2 repeat washes to get all makeup off, and that tends to be drying. The Slaai works immediately, is moisturizing, gentle and doesn’t sting if any gets into one’s eyes. It’s good value with a tub lasting a few months. Next, the Therabu hand cream. I have dry cracked skin on my hands and must run through liters of hand creams every year. I’ve tried everything; up to now weleda was probably the best, but the skin food never seemed to absorb properly. The therabu is a clear winner with immediate results: my hands look and feel so much smoother. My only complaints are the moderately unpleasant scents, especially the hand cream - it’s unpleasant enough that I’d stop using except that it works so well. I haven’t tried the Wonderwild product yet; I’ll report back later. UPDATE: Wonderwild is fine - it’s the type of oily moisturizer that sits on top of the skin and over seems to absorb properly. I won’t repurchase.

  • I use the Drunk Elephant Bronzing Drops and they're fine. They do successfully bronze the skin but I don't find myself reaching for them regularly. I also generally find the products to be overpriced. I'll finish the bottle but I won't buy again.

  • Been using this eye cream for a bit and honestly, the C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream surprised me. 🍊 It’s rich but not heavy, and really helps brighten up tired eyes and smooth fine lines. Only downside? It’s pricey — but a tiny amount goes a long way, so it lasts forever. 👁️✨

  • Drunk Elephant Bora Barrier Cream is a total game-changer for my eczema-prone skin. It’s super thick and rich, so I know it’s really locking in moisture where I need it most. Even though it’s so dense, it absorbs nicely without feeling greasy, and it leaves my skin feeling soothed and protected all day. I’ve noticed a big difference in how calm and comfortable my skin feels, and it’s become a must-have in my routine, especially on those extra dry days.

  • My younger sister turned me on to Drunk Elephant (DE) and I am so glad she did. They happen to make my absolute cannot-live-without item: B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum. It is definitely my go to for non-tacky, smooth, clean moisture. I find that 99% of moisturizers tend to make my skin feel trapped – like it cannot breathe – which inevitably results in sweating for me. I use B-Hydra morning and night and mix in whatever other serums I want to apply along with it. By doing this, I find I use less product all around (together = 1 pump each, instead of 2 pumps each when used separately). Win win! When you order directly from the DE website, you always get freebies too. I am also a huge fan of the Protini Polypeptide Cream, and I am thrilled that DE has developed a refill system for this fun-to-use jar. Much better for the environment and my pockets. Finally, the jars and bottles and packaging are all really cool. None of that really matters in the long run, but I do appreciate the innovative, playful design nonetheless.

  • This oil does feel like a luxury on my face. It is so nice and soft on my skin and it helps me during the winter time when my skin is so dry. I apply underneath my makeup and it works well with products

  • I discovered Drunk Elephant products a few years ago through my IPSY subscription boxes. I have since purchased this brand's skincare from Ulta Beauty. Their moisturizer is hydrating and works well on my aging skin. I most recently bought Drunk Elephant's O-Bloos Rosi Drops. I use these drops daily on top of my makeup as the final step of 'putting on my face'. I often reapply just this product throughout the day. I find I am slightly addicted to the 'flush' affect given by applying O-Bloos to all the places the sun might naturally highlight one's face, such as the apples of the cheeks and the tip of the nose. I promise after trying these out you too will be amazed!!

  • Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm has become a staple in my routine. This balm is seriously hydrating and transforms my dry, chapped lips into smooth, supple perfection. I love the ingredients- avocado oil, marula butter, and peptides. The texture is creamy and lightweight, and it glides on effortlessly. Overall, the Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm is a game-changer for anyone struggling with dry lips. It's a bit on the pricier side, but the results are 100% worth it. If you're looking for a high-quality lip balm that delivers serious hydration and long-lasting comfort, this is the one. My lips have never felt better!

  • I swear Drunk Elephant products are the reason I get so many compliments on my clear skin. From the face masks to the serums to the oils, they are all worth the splurge. I try to stock up during the Sephora sale to save some money, but I couldn't recommend this brand more!

  • I found that their oils seem to be really expensive without much reason as to why their so expensive. However, their exfoliating products are great and worth the money in my opinion. Overall, I'd say to do your research and see if The Ordinary has the same thing at a cheaper price.

  • I switched from a makeup routine to just doing all three of the drunk elephant drops (okay, I sometimes add lol) but I truly love them and they have vitamins in them. I’m sure it’s not recommended but I often fall asleep with this on and they don’t irritate my semi-sensitive skin

  • I’ve bought various drunk elephant products. Their TLC baby facial comes with a lovely oil one with retinol and one without. It’s gentle but if you’re needing an abrasive facial, this isn’t for you. Would recommend.
