From my wife: I’ve only had this brush for a few days, and already, I am wondering why it’s taken me so long to buy a boar hair brush. I have straight hair that can get oily very quickly, but that also looks dry immediately after washing. To my surprise, brushing my hair with The Brush No. 001 shortly after washing gave my hair an almost immediate shine, without looking oily. I’m looking forward to seeing how my hair responds over time. I can’t speak to the longevity of the product, and the $100 price tag does seem quite steep, but in terms of investment in a hair brush that immediately makes your hair look shiny, soft, and at its best, I am a fan indeed.

I LOVE this brand. Every product I have tried works so well and just smells so clean and amazing. I recently just got the powdered dry shampoo- which I have only used aerosol before. I like the powder way more however. It's so easy to apply and control. Leaves no white residue and I like that it doesn't have that sticky texture. It feels just really clean. I'm so excited to add this into my routine.

I first discovered this brand at Ulta and was instantly hooked after smelling it—the fragrance alone made me want to try more. I picked up a mini starter set to sample different products, and I’ve been impressed ever since. The leave-in conditioner not only tames my flyaways but also adds a soft, healthy sheen to my hair (and it’s a lifesaver when my hair isn’t freshly washed). The Renewal Mask is another standout—it works beautifully as a quick treatment in the shower or as an overnight deep conditioner. I’m excited to keep exploring the rest of the line. Highly recommend—and I love that it’s made right here in the USA!

I’ve been loving my Crown Affair products, especially the brush, and the DS&Durga leave-in conditioner collab. The quality is excellent. You can tell they’re crafted with care, and the branding is beautiful. The products genuinely feel high-end and effective, making me feel like I’m treating my hair well. That said, the price point is quite high, which might be a bit steep for a consistent ritual.

A quality silk scrunchy and I absolutely adore the green color.It's not super bold without being a boring black. I have found it does not stretch out as quickly as some brands, but these are also double the price.

I love the Crown Affair towel. I use it after every shower and it changed my hair - less frizz and it dries so much faster. I have very thick hair that takes a long time to dry and this towel changed the game. Totally recommend!

Love this! I had tried a well reviewed towel from Amazon and for awhile it worked well, but I ultimately wound up buying the crown affair towel. It is thin, but maximally absorbent and actually stays put, rather than constantly falling down or out. Must buy!

I'm here to cheer for the dry shampoo! I have thick, long hair, and never liked the way aerosol cans or spray bottles from other brands applied their products. I also found most other formulas to be lackluster. Not this product. I'm obsessed with the brush and being able to apply the dry shampoo exactly where I want it. The product itself is high-quality and feels nice, with just the lightest scent. I make sure to brush it through my hair thoroughly, or use my fingers and tousle. I love that I really don't need a lot, and it's immediately effective in helping with oil control, without leaving a trace.

I bought the Texturizing Air Dry Mousse and The Dry Shampoo. First of all, the packaging is even more luxe than I was expecting. Feels so nice to use. The brush for the dry shampoo is beyond what you would expect, so very soft. The Air Dry Mousse lives up to the hype, no doubt. I bought it to air dry my hair, but using it before blow drying also made a very noticeable improvement. When I use this, my hair has volume, control, no dryness and the perfect amount of texture. It checks every box. I love it. The Dry Shampoo is easy to apply and more precise than a high powered dry shampoo spray. I’ve never felt right using an aerosol and am relieved to find this product for when I can’t shampoo. Plus, it is talc free and you can look up how irritating or bad talc can be. I’m a new fan of Crown Affair.

In short, I love everything I have tried from this brand. Every product feels intentional, from the formula to the packaging, and I am continuously impressed. The scents are especially beautiful. They are uplifting yet comforting, refreshing without being too much. I pick up lemongrass and bergamot right away, but then there is also lily, sandalwood, and cedar. It makes everything feel elevated and luxe. The Leave In Conditioner This was the first product I tried, initially as a sample. I have fine but long hair, so I am always cautious about products weighing it down. This one somehow does not. It makes my hair softer and smoother without any heaviness, and it tames the frizz I usually get after blow drying. I have already repurchased and plan to keep it in my routine. The bottle is glass which feels LUXE. The Texturing Air Dry Mousse I was not sure about this one since I rarely air dry my hair, but it ended up surprising me. It gives a really light hold and brings out my natural texture. My favorite way to use it is to blow dry, apply the mousse, and braid my hair overnight. In the morning, I get soft waves that actually last. I almost never finish bottles of mousse, but I can see myself finishing this one. Not entirely sure if I would repurchase yet. The Dry Shampoo I usually go for aerosols, but I picked this up because I love dry shampoo and I am tired of losing aerosols at airport security (my b). This powder version is genius. It comes with a built in brush that tucks into the packaging, so it feels neat and easy to use. The scent is fresh, it revives my hair without buildup, and I love that refills are available. I will be repurchasing. The Clips These are honestly some of the best clips I have ever used. My favorite clips for years were a pair I found in an Italian pharmacy that had two rows of teeth, which kept them from slipping. I lost them over time and it’s been so hard to find anything similar. Crown Affair’s clips feel truly luxurious. The acetate is thick, the claws are sturdy, and they hold either all of my fine hair or a half up style without sliding out. They are amazing, and I recommend them to anyone with fine hair. The Brush No. 003 I bought this after reading that boar bristle brushes are great for distributing natural oils, keeping roots fresh while nourishing ends. Using it has become part of my night routine, and it makes me feel like a fairy princess brushing my hair before bed. It has not replaced my detangling brush, but it has earned its own place in my routine. Could I live without it? Yes. Would I want to? Haha, no.

Okay, so you have to be living under a rock if you haven't heard of Crown Affair yet, and I'll be the first to admit that I was skeptical. But you guys... omg. This brand has seriously changed my hair and my whole routine. I'm completely hooked and have the entire system, which look super cute on my vanity. The minimalist packaging instantly elevates my bathroom, turning a simple ritual into a moment of chic, luxurious self-care. The bottles and jars are beautiful thoughtfully designed, especially the no-mess design on the shampoo and conditioner bottles spouts. I think the jar of dry shampoo might actually be my favorite and is about as innovative as it gets with the included brush to apply. The air-dry towel actually stays in your hair too. I didn't know I could live like this! The scent is just incredible. It’s clean and sophisticated, not overpowering at all, but it leaves this fresh, lingering aroma that feels both elevated and intimate. Every time I wash my hair, it feels like I'm walking into a high-end spa. It's truly a scent that adds so much to the whole experience and I feel like it has really good staying power for a haircare product scent. Having the whole system—from The Shampoo and The Conditioner to The Leave-In Conditioner and The Towel—has been a complete gamechanger. My hair has never felt so soft, looked so healthy, or been so easy to manage. My mom asked me if I changed my part when really it was just so much shinier and bouncier. The products work together really well leaving my hair hydrated, balanced, and incredibly lightweight. I use the volume version of the shampoo and conditioner. I will definitely be repurchasing and replacing with my much more expensive routine for these bad boys.

I've tried two products from Crown Affair - the hair oil and the signature scent hair fragrance. The hair oil was fine, but didn't do much in terms of taming frizz and left my hair looking in need of a wash. On the other hand, the signature scent was so delicious that I immediately ordered the full size. I'm pretty scent sensitive, but love that I can add a fresh note before I head out that I know won't be overpowering. It's a sort of light citrus. Truly great.

I have the dry shampoo and it works great! I have dark hair, so I have to work the product in a bit more/ let it absorb overnight to get the best effect. The only reason didn't give it 5 stars, is because the packaging makes the use a bit messy and I feel like I waste some product every time I use it.

I have very long, normal thickness, wavy/curly 2b/2c hair and I have loved my experience with every Crown Affair Product. The Leave-In - this is my favorite product in the line. It’s a medium consistency that easily and evenly distributes through my hair. Leaves my hair soft and manageable. Air drying I experience almost no frizz but a little frizz with a rough blow dry. The scent is amazing. It’s smells clean and musky, it’s not overpowering, but doesn’t last super long. I wash my hair at night and by morning I don’t smell it anymore. The Mousse - I have loved this for air drying. It’s a very thin almost mousse, doesn’t leave a cast but just helps define my waves and gives me soft texture and frizz control. Great low maintenance hair day product. Same amazing scent as the leave-in. The Gel - I didn’t expect to love this product or even use it that much but I reach for this several times a week, usually when I’m slicking my hair back to go to the gym to tame my flyaways. It’s not a hard gel and actually kind of disappears when you brush through your hair. I can use this for a slick back and then brush through and wear my hair down without it looking greasy and with no crunchy feeling at all. Lasts me through a hot Pilates class as well. The Oil - I use this on my ends almost every night. It feels more like a dry oil which I love because it doesn’t make my hair look greasy. I’ve definitely overused it though and it has made my hair look greasy but that’s on me. Smells great (same clean musky scent), hydrates my ends, and leaves a shiny look as long as I don’t use too much. The Towel - love the waffle texture, it can fit all of my long hair, has a loop to secure the towel end, stays on my head, very comfortable. I love it. The Mini Brush and Scrunchies - the scrunchies are great. They have good tension (though I’m sure after some time they’ll loosen like every hair tie does) and they don’t pull my hair. The Mini Brush was my least favorite product. It wasn’t able to reach though all of hair so it was just brushing the surface and not getting to the underside which is fine on the ends but not near my scalp. I don’t feel like I noticed oil distribution from the boar bristles either. All in all I’ve loved my Crown Affair products and I will be repurchasing. They look great on a vanity and I love the results. Definitely recommend!

This brush makes my hair feel so smooth and even reduces frizz. I love the bristles and how there’s nylon and boar. It just gives the scalp such a nice feeling. A great alternative to some higher-end brushes that meet a more affordable price point.

I have been wanting to try this brand for awhile. I love the brand's overall aesthetic, focus on building slow rituals, clean ingredients, and quality tools. I love how the website exudes these qualities and overall, I knew I would feel good about my purchase no matter what (although a bit pricey). Also, the packaging/unboxing was amazing and continued this experience. The comb No. 002: I have curly 3b hair that's on the longer side and this is a perfect travel comb that is made from beautiful quality materials. If you like to quickly rake through your hair, and damage it (no shade, I do that frequently), then this isn't the comb for you. It takes time, but that's the point imo. so that you're conscious about what you're doing. It comes in a cute canvas pouch as well. Hydrating conditioner: It smells SO good. I love smelling it as I'm washing my hair, and seems to keep my finer curly hair hydrated without weighing it down. I also love the way the top twists open/closed. Much easier when in the shower than other brands, and I always know it's ACTUALLY closed. Texturizing air dry mousse: okay, I just don't think I have the right hair for this. My hair for sure doesn't get weighed down, but used on its own with a bit of hair oil, my hair feels a bit tacky and frizzy. But it for sure smells nice, and doesn't seem to leave any residue. My least favorite product overall (for my hair personally)

I purchased the volumizing conditioner and the texturizing air dry mousse and am happy with both! I always air dry my hair after a shower/sleep with it wet, so the mousse has been my favorite! It gives the right amount of texture.

I have been a huge fan of this brand for years. I took a chance on splurging for their hair towel when they were newer and it is my favorite to this day. I have since bought more and I was excited that they released it in black! All of their bottles are heavyweight glass and feel luxurious. They also have a signature smell which is not too strong and is in all of their products.

I've heard so much about Crown Affair's hair towel, I jumped at the opportunity to get it during a Thingdrop. I'm used to using a Turbie Twist to dry my hair, but this one was truly better. It's very large and absorbent, but is quite pricey for what it is. I feel like it would make a great gift. I also got the Texturizing Air Dry Mousse. I feel like I need to try it longer to give a complete review, but I did notice some nice volume.

I am a big fan of the hair towels. They fit so well and down squeeze my hair in funny ways while it tries. I recently tried the Overnight Repair Serum and find it’s a great night product. It leaves my hair less frizzy in the morning!
