Canopy earns mixed reviews: many say its humidifiers and filtered showerheads work—quietly hydrating dry rooms, softening hard water, and improving sinuses, skin, and hair—while others report modest humidity gains and scent diffusion, noisy operation, flimsy-feeling parts, and hard‑to‑use controls. Reviewers praise dishwasher‑safe cleaning, tap‑water compatibility, sleek design, and easy installations, but flag off-button glitches, frequent refills and filter changes, large showerhead size and adjustability issues, decreased water pressure, and weak aroma output.

Wow! I will never buy another old school misty humidifier. I have had this for a week and I'm blown away by it's performance. I have a crazy furnace that dries out my skin terribly in the winter. I bought this primarily to rehydrate the air in my bedroom while I'm sleeping, and my office while I'm working. It is very easy to use and refill, extremely easy to move around from room to room, and most of all it doesn't leave a wet mist mess! The air is hydrated, my skin can prove it, but there is no wet mist!!!! Amazing.

I would love a subscription model for filter replacement that spans the winter months only. I won't be using this in the Seattle spring, summer or fall.
I really liked my special edition pink Canopy humidifier. Still, I didn't notice a huge difference and found it somewhat awkward to fill. I ended up giving it to a friend when I moved and haven't repurchased even though I am looking for a humidifier.
This is a neat little humidifier. I love how it’s dishwasher safe and how it claims to be mold/mildew resistant since it will deplete all water before shutting off. It is pretty noisy so I keep it on its lowest setting. Since it’s intended to run 24/7 it does go through water super fast. Its design is super cute and the packaging was nice! I tried the scent puck as well, which is a charming idea. Can’t say it added much scent to the air but maybe I just need to keep dousing it in the oil? I don’t think I would’ve paid full price for this thing in all honesty but intend to keep using it.

The biggest selling point to me was the fact that you can clean it in a dishwasher. I’ve gone through many humidifiers, and I am so terrible and way too lazy to clean them on a regular basis, let alone wait around for a vinegar soak and scrubbin. Love the minimalist design and the bonus little diffuser stone. Their bergamot oil is really nice, and not too overwhelming. Their packaging was very beautifully designed, all eco friendly, and super fun to unbox. Kudos to their packaging team.

Why weren't humidifiers always like this? It seems like a no-brainer. But this is hands down the easiest humidifier to use and maintain. The aroma boosts make so much sense and really help to elevate the overall experience.

Homekit Compatibility
I received/purchased the Canopy shower head and filter starter kit. I liked that it was easy to install. And it came with a free filter. It even came with a beautiful scented essential oil and felt clips to place in the shower. I am delighted with this system. Please get one for all your showers; filtering out all the harmful chemicals in our water is key when it comes to the largest organ of our bodies, our SKIN SUIT.
I love my canopy humidifier. The heat in NYC buildings is so strong it's hard to tell if this makes a MAJOR difference but I do feel less dry overall when I have this on. Wish I bought the larger humidifier because it's annoying to refill it all the time, but I'd probably be annoyed refilling any humidifier if I'm being totally honest.
I’ve had a lot of humidifiers over the years. There are things I love about this one and things I don’t. Pros: - Mold-free technology + dishwasher safe (humidifiers can get REALLY gross this one does everything it can to limit bacteria) - waterless air distribution so you are limiting bacteria distribution and wet surfaces - essential oil diffuser built-in design on top of ventilation system (a lot of humidifiers don’t have this so you might think putting a few drops of oil in the water tank would be smart, however all that does is increase the bacteria growth) - auto-on/off as long as there is any water in the tank (pro & con) Cons: - auto on/off - if there is any water in the tank at all you can’t turn this thing off. Literally you turn it off and it turns itself back on if it detects water to reduce bacteria growth from standing water. - anything over the LOW setting is surprisingly loud. Louder than any other humidifier I’ve ever had. - it’s small which is convenient for a nightstand, but if you want a tank of water to last through the night the only setting you can use it on is LOW otherwise it runs out of water. - I thought the button functionality was clear and made sense until I started using it. I honestly have no idea why/when a button setting lights up or not. There’s no power light just to indicate if it’s on/off. But 3 lights are on when you hit the power button once? The water button which I thought was supposed to indicate when there’s no water in the tank never comes on even when the tank is empty? Overall I think the pros outweigh the cons and we ended up purchasing a second one for our son’s bedroom. I do think it’s a bit expensive, but the features to limit bacteria are huge and I’ve significantly noticed an improvement in how both my son and I sleep through the night and wake up feeling in the morning during the winter/dry months because of this humidifier.

Opening disclaimer: I got this on a Thingdrop where it was wildly discounted. I have been eyeing a Canopy for years but the regular price point is just way too high for me, especially when you factor in ongoing purchases of filters throughout the life of the product. Things that I like about this humidifier: I love that it is evaporative instead of ultrasonic. There have been enough studies about the badness of ultrasonic humidifiers that I didn't want one running in my house. So hooray for the evaporative humidifier with the filter. It is genuinely great to have this option, and I haven't found a lot of similar, comparative items on the market. I also like that I can fill it with tap water, and that the removal and replacement of the water tank is easy and intuitive. I wanted a humidifier because in the winter the indoor heating gets really dry and harsh. I have sinus allergies and those combined with heated air often gives me a stuffed nose and nose bleeds in the winter. I was hoping this would help with that situation. I've only had it for about a week, running intermittently, and so far I've noticed a midling difference with my sinuses and nasal passages. My nose has been a bit clearer and there have been no nose bleeds. I have not seen a difference in my skin yet, but its early days, and that is not the reason I bought this humidifier in the first place. Now, my issues. I can't turn the damn thing off. The label says there is an off button. I've checked it multiple times and tried every option, but every time I think I have turned it off, it is actually switched to automatic mode and it turns itself on again after a bit. When it turns itself on, it automatically turns itself on to the "high" mode. The only way to fully turn it off is by unplugging it because it keeps running even after the tank empties. Some people may like that they can plug it in and forget it, but I don't. I find the white noise of the machine grating and want to choose when, at what level, and for how long it is running. But I can't. If you claim to have an off button it should work as an off button. I also dislike how quickly the filters need to be replaced, and I don't like how unstable/flimsy the main compartment feels around the filter.

i purchased the canopy humidifier in the shade jade during a thingdrop, and have loved it so far. on the low setting, there is almost no noise, but the medium-high range does seem a bit noisy. the scent that came with the humidifer is a pleasant tea blossom bergamot scent, and i like how it is very subtle. it's not meant to be a replacement for a diffuser/candle/wax melt, so the scent is very light. i will say i wish it came with instructions; i was a bit confused on what the parts were in the lower tray. one of my favorite features is the anti-mold technology, i feel like that is my biggest concern with products that run on water. overall, it was a great purchase! i actually was looking at this product last year during the winter because of my dry skin, but couldn't fully commit to the price since reviews were limited. glad i purchased it through the thingdrop, and i would highly recommend others buy it! it's perfect for my one-bedroom apt, but others may need the larger size or several in order to properly humidify (is that the right word?) their homes.

Super cute and chic- a little pricey for just being basic plastics but it's actually stylish in my opinion which makes it worth it. I keep it running 24/7 and it has made such a difference in my bedroom. I also love that it is set up for auto renewal subscription so I don't have to remember to buy the filters every month. I also love the scents of the essential oils it comes with and you can opt out cause they send 3 and it takes me more than a month to go through them all. Over all, I love it and want to get another one for my living room!
The humifidier has changed our household in a good way. Living in a dry climate we use it almost year -round. I love the filter subscription and being able to put it in the dishwasher.
I love the compact size of this humidifier and the sleek design. It blends in well on the bedside table. The nursery bedtime/morning oil bundle is perfect for littles and helps create a lightly scented space. The mistless moisture helps keep the area from getting all wet and we love that it’s mold-inhibiting. It cleans easy and and works really well. I would say be careful putting it within arms reach of kids because the aroma puck that you put the oil on can be easily removed from the top. Other than that it’s great!!

Love this Humidifier!
I love how simple and neutral the design is so it blends into my decor without being a focal point. The system boasts being able to remove impurities from the air and it really does. All you have to do is look at through filter to see how it changes he’s from white to yellow. I’m happy knowing all of that “grossness” is no longer in the air I’m breathing. Great product!
Easy & Reliable!
I have one in all bedrooms. This is such a great purchase and helps so much during allergy season and winter. My allergies used to be so bad I would have to rely on Claritin and Claritin D to help clear my sinuses so I could sleep throughout the night. After using the humidifier, my skin isn't flaky dry and my cuticles aren't as dry. I used to have to use lotion almost every day. Now I periodically use it just to help moisturize. Worth the purchase and auto send helps so I don't have to worry about knowing when to get another supply. Highly recommend.
I recently purchased the Canopy 4-in-1 Nursery Humidifier and love it! While very reluctant to do so at first because I have heard from others that they are very hard to keep clean and can get moldy, I am so happy I gave this one a try. Not only is it super easy to maintain and use, but it also has a built in aroma diffuser with two essential oils, making my young daughter’s room smell wonderful. The scent is mild and pleasant without being too overbearing. Both oils are free from synthetics and safe for all ages, which is another plus. I am also a huge fan of the neutral color and how small it is compared to other humidifiers. If you are looking for a great humidifier, Canopy is it! My family loves this product.

I love my humidifier and how easy it is to swap out the filters. This thing stays clean. I have a severe mold allergy, so this is a saving grace. It’s just expensive.
A+ for aesthetics. The bedside humidifier is a good size and looks beautiful in any room, we have it in our living room right now. It's simple to use and works well. I've found it needs refilling generally once a day/ever 24 hours.

minimalist and cute packaging, very easy to install and very clear instructions. aroma extras are great. Shower pressure is great and it is a very clean look for the shower. Overall love it. My skin is definitely less dry after showering. Have not been using long enough to determine if any other benefits are there. Only downside is having to change the filter every 3 months - have tested out replacing and it is simple, but can be expensive and have to remember to order. Overall, would definitely recommend.
