Cadence earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the magnetic, leak-resistant, customizable capsules streamline packing and look chic, but size, weight, and durability issues temper enthusiasm. Reviews praise organization, aesthetics, sustainability, and strong magnets for tidy travel; drawbacks include small internal capacity for liquids like shampoo, occasional leakage, hard-to-open lids when wet, heavier build, weak magnet linkage at times, and reports of cracking over months of use.

Love the concept, the variety of colors, and I have even gifted to my sister who travels a lot as well. I haven't had issues with spillage, I even have foundation in one of them. They may be a little heavier than your plastic containers but they are sturdy!

Just too pricey to convert all my toiletries.
I was so excited to come across this brand for magnetic travel containers since I often struggle to fit all my toiletries in a carry on. The colors and aesthetic are unmatched for it's spot in the market, but unfortunately I had difficulties in the use and execution. I underestimated the decanting step for moving liquid, cream, paste, and other textured contents from it's original container to the Cadence containers. I also didn't anticipate the messiness of having to get the contents out of essentially jar rather than it's original pump dispenser. I hope the brand offers some sort of dispensing alternative while maintaining the minimal and sleek look of the products. I'll continue to watch and support the brand from afar, but won't be spending $$$ until there are some evolutions.
These have become essential to me for all things travel. I also use some of these in our diaper bag. Just a really smart addition for anyone that travels a lot and need to pack things efficiently (and aesthetically) :)
Bought Cadence capsules for myself and husband this year. I'll admit, they are incredibly well made - spillproof/airtight, good quality, etc. I think I'm a little lost on the "wow" though here. They're very expensive for a pretty simple product. Good for them - but to be clear, they're just magnetic refillable containers that don't leak.
I bought these via Thingdrop and have traveled on two long trips (5+ days) since owning them but have not found a legitimate instance in which I could have used the containers. They're a bit small! I put my cleanser in one and realized it was only a few days worth of product and since I was already checking a bag, I just opted to bring my full-size bottle instead. That said, I love the colors and magnetic containers. The unboxing journey is nice too.

Bigger sizes! You can take up to 3.4 ounces in a carry-on bag. It would be nice if for the price you could get more tiles than there are bottles or write your own text– since you can swap the tiles, I think that'd make sense... I'm not sure I would ever consider buying these at the full price of $84.

I wouldn't mind seeing a bigger size for longer weekend trips
Cadence capsules are helping me to kick my tiny plastic bag addiction. These magnetic containers keep my supplements organized and protected. They're perfect for travel days when I need to bring along my full wellness regimen.

I'm not using it for medicine, I'm using it to extract skincare products while traveling. It so pretty with the light pink and happy that, I've never had a product spill.
These little containers are very functionel.

I’ve been eyeing these capsules for a while and really wanted to love them. Unfortunately, they are too small to pack supplements for more than a weekend, and they are pretty heavy to be toting around. I’m back to using ziploc bags.

As a constant traveler I was super excited when this brand came out. I bought it as a treat to myself as they are quite expensive but I loved the concept and aesthetic. It's totally on me that I didn't realize how tiny they actually are (as the walls are quite thick and the space to put things are very small). I think this may work ok for 2-3 day trips but that isn't typical for me. What really got me was after a week of having them I dropped it and they completely cracked and became unusable.
I personalized a set of 6 and tested them for Thingtesting's Tiktok. I am a big big fan of the brand's sustainability mission, which is super evident throughout the entire customer journey from the website to the product packaging. Upon receiving the product, I found that the containers were a lot smaller than I expected! I filled them up with my daily routine for a week-long trip but after a few days, I found myself rationing product. I feel like they only hold enough skincare/haircare for about 3-4 days, and I can't see myself taking these on trips that are any longer than that! I actually also allocated one container specifically for holding jewelry and the hoop earrings that I wear daily don't fit :(

cadence is pricey!! i don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, just something for folks to keep in mind.
These are super innovative travel capsules that are also very aesthetic. I love the color options too! I have been able to take mine on flights and road trips with me and they have been super handy.

They are heavier and smaller internally than expected though.

NOT THE PRODUCT FOR PEOPLE WITH LONG NAILS :'( As a frequent traveler and lover of design, I really wanted to love the cadence capsules! But I've quickly come to realize that decanting products into jars is an absymal process. I prefer squeezy bottles or small pumps and don't mind that they aren't uniform. Pros: - love the custom labels with magnetic function! so easy to customize - looks great - easy to find in bag bc they are so frickin heavy - seriously leak proof Cons: - the magnets aren't as strong as I would've thought, a single capsule can still fall off but if it's a trio they won't budge - the ick factor of putting finger into jar - frickin heavy Bottom line: wouldn't purchase it myself
On a recent trip to Mexico, I finally put my Cadence capsules to the test and I don’t think I’ll ever travel without them again. From sunrise hikes in Tulum to lazy beach days in Sayulita, I had everything I needed in the palm of my hand. My skincare, vitamins, even jewelry each in its own tiny, magnetic container stayed perfectly organized and leak-free. No rummaging through plastic baggies or bulky bottles. Just smooth mornings and stress-free packing, which is exactly what you want when you're chasing sun and tacos.
I got these as a bday gift and I LOVE THEM! They’re so handy for a quick overnight trip and has made my skincare routine a lot easier to keep up with while I’m traveling. They’re extremely hardy and leakproof. The color range is super fun and I love how customizable everything is.

Initially thought they were a bit too small to be useful... but their size is deceptive. Ends up, it's really just the right amount, the magnetic tops are quite useful as is the fact that they also link together. All in, quite pleased!

I have a set from their original containers. They are definitely handy when you are going away for a weekend, but I found that they don't work if you are going away longer than a few days. I do love how they are magnetized which makes it much easier to keep things from getting lost. They are super cute too. Wish Cadence sold cases that held all of these.
These are pretty fun and cute, but definitely only for a small trip. You can't fit very much in each container, and it's shape is awkward, so you end up having to reach pretty far in to get product. They are convienent, but I was expecting to love them, and I more just use them because I already have them and they are functional for short trips. I wish they were wider rather than having a large depth, so that they would be slim and more compatible with travel. The shape makes them take up a bulk of space, and it feels like more of the space is being taken up by the container rather than the product.
