Cadence containers are perfect for travel! They’re compact, lightweight, and completely leak-proof, which gives me peace of mind when packing liquids. The magnetic system is a brilliant touch—they stay neatly organized in my bag, and I love how easy they are to refill and label. These little capsules are not only practical but also stylish, making it a breeze to bring my skincare and essentials on the go. Highly recommend Cadence for anyone looking to travel smarter and stay organized!

Beyond disappointed in these. Invested in them a few years ago for travel and was so stoked to finally have a sustainable option for traveling with my toiletries. After a few uses, they started cracking on the inside. Messaged customer service and let them know and they were kind enough to send me a whole new set and took back the original to examine. Within less than 5 uses, my new set completely started cracking and falling apart. I follow all care instructions, gently hand wash these, etc. and they didn’t last as long as ones I could get from the dollar store. Purchased these thinking I’d have a long term and sustainable item because they literally have advertisements of them running over them with a car and yet it’s one of the worst purchases I have ever made. I loved everything about the brands concept and even followed the founder but this was just a massive flop and waste for me ):

Not the best solution for traveling. At the price point, I expect these to be completely leak proof, which they aren't. But I do find them useful for storing things like petroleum jelly from a big tub to a travel size for my purse. If you're looking for a travel system for your liquids, I'd skip these. If you need a small container for something in your purse, these may be helpful, but probably not the first thing I'd recommend. 

I've been eyeing these for the longest time but could never justify the price so when they went on sale for Black Friday I finally bought a set of six. (Still overpriced though.) I travel a ton and use GoToobs to hold toiletries but I find that they leak and spill all the time, plus they're just too big. I was skeptical that the cadence containers would be too small but I think the size is perfect for week-long trips and I love that they're magnetic and fit in my bag so nicely. 

Unfortunately, they actually do leak depending on the consistency of the liquid you add. If it's more watery like a cleanser, it leaks every time. Lotion & conditioner don't leak at all. 

These are fun! I got them in the Thing Drop. I was debating getting them before but couldn’t justify the price so I was thrilled with this collab. Ordering was easy and my questions were quickly answered by customer service.

These are smaller than I expected but I think they’ll do just fine. I’m so happy to not have to either a) buy non reusable tiny travel containers of the things I need or b) take my reusable travel jars that always spill. This is a great alternative and I’m excited to try them out for vacation soon.

My favourite part of these Cadence containers are how easy they are to clean. No more coming back from a trip, dreading having to clean out that little bit of shampoo or lotion from a container with a small opening. (And then maybe giving up and letting it sit there, getting a little gross, until your next trip). The customizable colors and labels are a fun and useful touch. The containers are heavier and thicker than I expected.... time will tell how this translates to durability.

I purchased these with a Thingdrop discount. I would not pay full price for these BUT I would buy these full price as a gift for a loved one who travels often in a heartbeat.

Maybe make the containers a little bigger? Or have different size options to choose from.

I got to try this product through Thingdrop! Cadence had been on my radar for a little bit, as I thought it would be useful to stay more organized while traveling. The containers are nice quality and sleek/efficient. However, they're a bit smaller than I was expecting. As a person with a lot of hair, for example, I think I'd use all of the shampoo I could fit in one container in one go. I didn't get specific written labels for the tops because I wasn't sure what I would need to travel with at any given time. Instead, I chose a variety of the symbols they have available so I could distinguish between containers, since I also got all the same color. I think this product will be useful to me for shorter weekend trips or when I'm out and about daily and need to bring little amounts of products with me.

More preset tile options would be amazing. 

The price for these initially seemed absurd to me so I was thrilled to buy these with the thing drop discount but after trying them I’m so in love that I will be buying more at regular price. They hold more product than I expected and the quality and design is amazing. Even the way the lids thread on to the containers is really great. They thread on effortlessly every time so there’s no need to line them up in a certain way. Theres also no possibility of over threading them when twisting. After filling one with water and tossing it into my handbag for a day I’m also confident that they are leak proof. The custom tile magnets are lots of fun and are strong enough to stay attached when jostling around in a travel bag/purse. 

I don’t know if they are worth the price, but if you are willing to pay it, they are really handy! 

I’ve thought about buying these in the past, but was always caught up in the price point. I was stoked to get them during the ThingDrop. 
They are pretty cool! I have a couple that live in my bag to hold meds. Their unique shape makes them really easy to find and I like that they stick together. They hold a decent amount of advil and the shape inside makes it easy to get all lotion or whatever inside out. They probably hold about a day or two of face or body wash. They can’t hold enough shampoo/conditioner for my thick hair. 


Price is high for these. Most people will just purchase cheaper plastic or sample size ones as a cost effective way to travel. Easier to throw those away while these you would never want to throw away!! 

I LOVE THESE!!!!! I have been wanting to try these forever, but the cost hindered me from purchasing them. Through thing testing I finally was able to test them and I love it! They make packing for a trip so easy and love the sustainability behind the products. They are magnetic so they all stay together and I like how you can always change the magnets on top for what is in the jar. I recommended them to a friend and she purchased some after she saw mine! 

I’d love for extra labels to come with the cadence set, so I can switch stuff up depending on my current skincare routine or trip destination. 

I’d also love a different spout on the cadence tops as I don’t want to stick my finger in container and the pour is quick for some products and nonexistent for others. 

I bought cadence on a thingdrop and was still a little iffy about the price point. But if they were going to be everything the internet says they are, it was well worth it. Unfortunately, I’m disappointed. 

I didn’t end up using the containers for their planned contents (aka the labels I made), so I spent the entire week guessing/trying to remember what face serum was in shampoo and what was in conditioner. 

I did use cleanser for cleanser, so while that was convenient, I ran out quickly because the pour was faster than the bottle at home. 

I think this is a personal problem, but I also struggled with my colors. At first I wanted all one color, but then I worried differentiating them would be annoying. So then I tried to group by category ie shower stuff in sage, sink stuff in blue. But then I decided that I wanted my cadence containers to also be distinguishable when I’m blindly washing & conditioning my hair in the morning, so I went with all different colors. They look pretty good together, but I think there is probably a smart design solve their that they could provide with the system. 

The plastic/material quality should be higher to justify the steep price.

Honestly, I'm not impressed. I had long been eyeing these chic, functional travel packs and was excited to see them discounted on a ThingDrop. But when they arrived, the quality of the material was a bit lower than I had expected -- Especially for a product at such a high price point. I wouldn't have purchased these without the steep discount.

OBSESSED! I had been following them for a while and was dying to finally get my hand on some of these containers! I liked the packaging and love the fact that the lid securely seals and also sticks to the container by magnet. I also LOVE that they're made from marine plastic.

Make the magnets stronger if possible so a single one can be grabbed and it can carry a few more with them. The labels also popped off pretty easily when I dropped the lid one time, so maybe that should have a stronger hold as well.

This is a brand that I had been eyeing for a while because I absolutely love the concept and how customizable it is. Still, it was out of a price range I felt comfortable paying for when I would be getting just six small capsules to hold my personal care products in. Thankfully I was able to participate in a Thingdrop and get a hold of these!

First, let's talk about the customization experience. It honestly took me quite a while to decide what colors and labels to pick. Uniformity is not something I thought about when choosing a color for each container, so I went wild and picked a different color for each one. It was honestly a bit tricky to think of what I had that could easily fit into the capsules, but eventually, I decided on my six. I do think it is a bit much to try and charge extra for custom labels when the containers are already so expensive.

The Cadence unboxing experience was delightful. The box opened up so intuitively, and the cutest part was that there was a card inside that could be planted and would grow wildflowers! Thankfully it looked like all my containers arrived safely, and were magnetic as promised. I put them in my toiletry bag for any future trips I would go on. It was so much fun loading everything up and arranging it to get in just the right spot.

However, before I could use all my capsules to their full potential, I went on a trial run of sorts by taking a two-day trip. Unfortunately, because I could only take a backpack on my flight I could not fit my toiletry bag in there, so I had to be very selective. I felt this would be a good test to see how the containers did when they were freely floating inside a big backpack. I took three with me, and they all did a great job in storing my cleanser and pills, but these are far from perfect.

As many other reviewers have pointed out, these capsules are very small and cannot hold much at all. They worked super well for a two-day trip, but for something I might need every day like my face moisturizer, I do not even know if it could hold enough to last even a week unless I rationed really well. Then there's my next point- not only are these small, but they probably could've been a lot better quality for the price.

Something that became clear when I was using the containers was that the magnets were actually quite weak. It was tricky to scoop the three capsules I had in my backpack out at once because they were not only quite slippery but also had such weak magnets that grabbing one would not necessarily mean the other two would be lifted up as well. I thought it would be really clever if you could just throw these in a bag and take them all out at once, but really the magnets cannot handle that and are merely there to clump them together on a table. And considering the almost absurd price for a capsule, they should not pull apart so easily.

If you are looking for a fancy gift for yourself or a friend who loves to travel, these may be a good idea. You can buy just a gift card so you can allow the recipient to customize their containers for themselves, which is definitely appreciated. But while I think they do their job, there are a lot of little things that could be improved on to make it worth the price.

I was really enjoying these when I first got them. They’re cute and I love the different colors and interchangeable tiles but they are small. I have issues with 2 of the lids closing all the way and you can only fit things you don’t need to use that often. I know they changed their product type and I think those would work a lot better than their original model.

I LOVE these! So much so, I purchased three 6-packs for friends that I knew were traveling soon.  I took my containers to Tulum, Mexico and filled with soaps, rose hip oil, moisturizers and hair products and had no issues with spillage at all. You can customize your containers or leave them blank. There’s even ones to choose from that are super helpful and they stick together pretty well. 

These do pack a good amount of product, so if it’s a trip for 3-5 days, it’s perfect! 

As a frequent traveler, I was so happy that I was able to try Cadence during the Thingdrop.  As a frequent traveler, I wanted to try Cadence because it's an eco-friendly option over travel-sized toiletries. I loved how you are able to customize your labels which are magnetic and can be easily changed. I've used Cadence for the past few months and can honestly say, they are every penny. The day before my trips, I would run to the store to stock up on travel-sized toiletries. I'm so happy that this has stopped because of Cadence and I can just refill containers. I also really love how the containers are magnetic so they don't get lost in whichever bag you toss 'em in! Plus, you can use them to store much more than toiletries- they've come in handy storing my jewelry!  

I would love to see a lower price point in the future so more people can make the switch! 


I absolutely LOVE this brand. The color, the convenience, the accessibility and quality of this product is unmatched. I literally find a reason to use a capsule every day. This product has definitely provided a level of luxe to my travel. People are always asking about the deets on these when they seen them! 

So if you are on the fence, don’t be! They are worth the money. 



I had such a fun time designing my cadence set! Shipping was quick and they came well packaged. I’ve taken my Cadence set on a few trips and they have worked out fabulously for hair products, skincare, and meds. I do think if you travel for longer time, the newer larger capsules might be a better fit, but these have been great for weekend and shorter trips!

I travel quite often and took these across the country on a 6 day trip. The container is STURDY, and the extra attachment did not leak!! it's definitely bulkier than the average plastic container though and took up more room in my liquids bag. Took a photo for size reference. 

While going through TSA, the airport I was in was oddly (and insanely)  strict about liquids that day and gave out 1L bags to everyone. (It was a domestic flight too...) My bag got stopped and the lady checking it took the jars out. I guess it's because it's magnetic? Once she saw it was just shampoo, she gave them back. I had no issues on the fight home.

The wide opening is a gift and a curse: it makes it sooo easy to pour product inside, but then I probably used more shampoo and conditioner than I normally do. Even still, the containers carried WAY MORE than I needed. After the trip, both jars were well over half way full.  

Would i buy the WHOLE set for the price though? I'm not entirely sure. Nice to have, a very nice gift for the constant traveler, but you could live without it.
