Beauty Pie earns largely positive reviews for effective, luxe-feeling formulas—standouts include Japanfusion Cleanser, Super Retinol, Über Youth Probiotic Serum Mist, Triple Hyaluronic Acid Eye Cream, candles, and fragrances—so yes, the brand works; however, reviews also flag inconsistencies and drawbacks like heavy fragrance, occasional misses (e.g., mascaras, some lipsticks), and confusing or restrictive membership mechanics. Reviewers praise the broad range and repeat-buys but note formula changes, stock unpredictability, and a desire for samples and more sustainable, refillable packaging.

Love their stuff. Love the price. Very high qual items. Annoyed by the membership model but willing to pay the money for the access
I have loved pretty much every product I have tried. The makeup especially is very similar to pricier name brands and the packaging is great quality. I also love that they're constantly producing new products, and have a wide variety of products.

I wish there was a way to pause membership. I also wish there weren't differences in what's available in the US vs the UK, but I don't think that's really their fault (more an issue with regulations, I think). Website could improve a little also, sometimes I get logged out in the middle of shopping.
I loooooove Beauty Pie. It’s absolutely worth the money - I get luxury skincare for a fraction of the cost. Everything is packaged so nicely and works as described. Their fragrance is also astonishingly good—some of my favorite perfume ever comes from Beauty Pie and would have cost me $$$$ from a traditional fragrance company. I’m never giving up my membership.

I love them in theory, but there is SO MUCH fragrance in everything and some of the products have no benefit but cost a bunch of money.

Had I reviewed the company when I joined Beauty Pie 3 years ago this would probably have been a 5 star review. The products are (in the main) excellent quality & deliver on their intended uses. The Über Youth Probiotic Serum mist, Triple Hyaluronic Acid eye cream, Dr Glycolic foot peel socks and the nail polishes are all repeat buys for me. I loved the fact that when I first joined you had to be invited to review a product a couple of weeks after you received it - I felt this made for true & accurate user reviews. The customer service for my first 18months was pretty good. Now, sadly, not so much. Whilst I realise that due to circumstances beyond their control certain ingredients are either in short supply or no longer available so formulations have required changes. But these changeshave not been communicated well & items such as the Healthy Skin shower gel are now a totally different product to the one I used to love. It’s a shame that the ethos of a “buyers club for members” and letting members & the products speak for the brand has been eschewed for ads & influencers because that’s not what I signed up for.

Communication with customers needs to improve massively - if a formula changes send out the info in an email. The products are good & competitively priced but not the steal they used to be.
Amazing products at fabulous prices. Shopping their products is like being a kid in a candy store! You want to buy it all. Each item is high quality and you cannot beat the prices. So worth becoming a member.

One improvement would be to accept all types of credit cards. I had to use my debit card which I don’t like to use because they didn’t take my usual card.
I LOVE Beautypie! Every product that I've tried has instantly become a staple. I especially like their affordably priced fragrances that smell luxurious and last all day.
A great diversity of products that are high quality. They have something to fit almost any beauty/ self care niche.

The membership fee can make you feel a little boxed in.

I've only tried their exfoliating body scrub because my girlfriend raved about it. It was AMAZING. It smelled incredible and my skin felt the best it ever has, plus it was so enjoyable to use.

I had a subscription/membership for a bit. However, a lot of the skincare didn’t age with my skin. I have reactive skin with hyperpigmentation and occasional breakouts. The skincare typically has fragrance ingredients which are not something my skin can tolerate. However, I did find one of my favorite lipsticks from this brand.
I was given a tube of their wrap mascara as a gift from a friend who loves it. I was excited to try it out after her rave reviews. I have never hated a mascara so much in my life. It started off fine, went on well and gave my lashes definition but then a few hours later it was clumping and just kind of falling of my lashes. I've never had mascara "fall off" before - it was messy and frustrating. I tried it a few more times with the same results and ended up throwing it away.
Amazing prices for luxury and high performance skin care
Good customer service, good curation, and nice branding.
I’m a long standing member and while I love the idea of it, not all the products live up to the hype for me. I’ve used a lot and tried a lot ( because it’s so reasonable) but don’t find many items I’d repurchase. I’ve had a bit more luck with makeup vs skincare but find I wait to order a few things at once as the postage can be expensive otherwise. I wish they’d do testers so you can try before committing. While the background I understand, I don’t feel like I’m using a luxury product with any items I buy here.

I have loved every product from here. The products do feel luxury for their price point. My whole makeup bag is made up of beauty pie products now and I am slowly working my way through the rest of my products. My skin has really changed since starting using the retinol range. The super healthy skin range smells divine and the creme makes my skin so soft.
I've been a Beauty Pie member since 2017, I think. I've gifted memberships to friends, and gotten more than one friend started on skincare regimens with their products. It's a great way to introduce someone to skincare when they might be hesitant to spend a lot of money for a full regimen on more mainstream skincare websites like Dermstore. The Japanfusion cleanser is a major holy grail for me -- I'll never be without it! Their new products developed with their dermatologist are really nice too. If you're thinking about trying them, definitely order the Japanfusion cleanser, the candles, the vitamin c capsules, the concealer brush, the brow gel, and the eyeliners!
Signed myself and my mom up for Beauty Pie during their Black Friday sale a few years ago. Was a member for about a year.

Good products and reasonable pricing. The pricing model is overly complicated, with a monthly budget that can sometimes limit what you buy. I'd wait a few months and order a bunch of products that I'd have to slowly introduce into my routine. Overall good quality.
I have mixed feelings! The products I tried were good quality and worked well, but I don't like to be so brand loyal with my skin care and beauty. It can save you money if you are willing to commit to just one brand.

I really enjoy the discounted pricing I get as a Beauty Pie member. So far, I've ordered sunscreen, neck serum, hair conditioner, hair oil, apricot cleansing balm, and retinol hand cream. I've enjoyed every product I've ordered but the cleansing balm has got to me my absolute favorite. It melts in like a dream, emulsifies easily, and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft.
Feedback
The website it easy to use, and I enjoy the occasional "member only" deals and alerts I get in my mailbox. Another reason I like the cleansing balm is its packaged in a glass jar (no plastic except the lid). I wish more Beauty Pie products had reduced-plastic packaging.
This is a great beauty concept with a strong brand aesthetic that stands out amongst a slightly saturated market of beauty box subscriptions. Having order a few times, the latest boxes were quite unexciting with smaller sizes and more common products. The range of brands available on the size is really good, and they have managed to grow a trusting community with genuine reviews which is very hard to do. Price wise some boxes can be more expensive. Great for gifts.
Feedback
Some boxes can be quite underwhelming with brands and products that aren't doing particularly well and this can feel like a slight rip-off at times.
