I was lucky enough to receive my Goodr sunnies as a gift from my brother. They are comfortable to wear, lightweight & do not budge whilst running! Unfortunately there was an issue with the lens coating on my first pair but I received a replacement pair quickly. My only wish is that they make some sunnies that can be worn whilst swimming in salt water…

Cards is one of those games that always seems to come along on weekends away when there’s a group of us. It makes for a fun couple of hours. The expansion packs are an essential once you’ve played a couple of times or the game loses its punch.

I was introduced to Votary skincare through the Caroline Hirons website. I’m a big fan of aromatherapy so Votary products really appealed to me. The travel sizes are a great way to trial the products & as the bottles are refillable can be used for travel. The closure on the facial oil bottles is not great and resulted in a spill & product loss on a recent trip. The products with scented oils smell amazing & give the feeling of a luxury spa experience. My hero products are the face cloths, apricot & rose facial cleanser, superseed facial oil & the blemish rescue oil. The products are at quite a high price point & out of my budget for skin care so I only buy them when they’re on offer.

I came across Ffern on social media. Fragrance is definitely one of my ‘things’ and the idea of a small batch fragrance produced four times throughout the year using seasonal ingredients really appealed to me. I especially love that if the scent isn’t to your taste you can send it back & just wait to try the next release. A small tester vial is sent in the same package as the main fragrance so that customers may try the fragrance before committing. The packing is plastic free & can be used as compost giving the brand a further sustainable platform.

Estrid popped up on my Facebook feed a few times before I visited their website. I’m a long term epilator fan but was looking for a razor 🪒 for those times when you just need a smooth fuzz-free leg! I liked the ethos behind the Estrid brand & was impressed with their reviews. When my razor arrived I was delighted with the packaging & just how neat the razor holder is. The razor handle & head are both great quality & do exactly what they’re meant to! If you’re in the market for a new razor I’d highly recommend you give Estrid a try.

I love my Our Place cookware, glasses & serving bowls. The pans are incredibly versatile & add a pop of colour to my kitchen. As well as being of a high quality. My favourite products are my cast iron always pan & my perfect pot. Customer service was great & the items shipped speedily. Returns were super easy too. Without the discounts I had I do think that the items original prices are expensive.

I have ALWAYS loved Muji as a brand. Great quality products at reasonable prices. I’m a huge fan of their travel bottle range & their refillable gel ink pens. I’ve been using Muji travel bottles for about 14years now & I travel A LOT! I still have some of the original bottles I bought when I first discovered that Muji sold them. Unfortunately I no longer live close to a Muji store but their website & online ordering are very easy to use. All in all an extremely positive experience from a brand I would highly recommend.

To be honest Muji have already made the change I would have suggested re their bottle tops. Great brand for people who like simplicity & classic styling.

Had I reviewed the company when I joined Beauty Pie 3 years ago this would probably have been a 5 star review. The products are (in the main) excellent quality & deliver on their intended uses. The Über Youth Probiotic Serum mist, Triple Hyaluronic Acid eye cream, Dr Glycolic foot peel socks and the nail polishes are all repeat buys for me. I loved the fact that when I first joined you had to be invited to review a product a couple of weeks after you received it - I felt this made for true & accurate user reviews. The customer service for my first 18months was pretty good. Now, sadly, not so much. Whilst I realise that due to circumstances beyond their control certain ingredients are either in short supply or no longer available so formulations have required changes. But these changeshave not been communicated well & items such as the Healthy Skin shower gel are now a totally different product to the one I used to love. It’s a shame that the ethos of a “buyers club for members” and letting members & the products speak for the brand has been eschewed for ads & influencers because that’s not what I signed up for.

Communication with customers needs to improve massively - if a formula changes send out the info in an email. The products are good & competitively priced but not the steal they used to be.

I have ordered from DASH a couple of times when they have had special offers on. My favourite flavours (so far) are: mango, raspberry, peach & blackcurrant. I am VERY keen to try the new lime flavour… The drinks are refreshing & tasty without being too sweet. The flavours are true & not at all false tasting. The cans are a convenient size for a lunch box drink.

I tried to oat milk totally by chance in the summer of 2020. As a latte lover I had not considered using or trying any milk alternatives until I didn’t have a choice during a beach trip as the coffee cart had run out of all milk except oat. I loved it! Since then I have switched to using oat milk rather than cows milk. My favourite Oatly product is the vanilla oat milk. It makes THE best lattes. The chocolate oat milk is an occasional treat enjoyed with cornflakes - yummy!! Love Oatly as a brand & think they make great high quality products. Highly recommended.
