Reviews mention

  • Luxe textures, effective formulas
  • Wide, thoughtfully curated assortment
  • Repeat-buy hero products
  • Elegant, giftable packaging
  • Heavy fragrance across formulas
  • Hit-or-miss product consistency
  • Occasional disappointing mascaras, lipsticks
  • Limited sustainable, refillable packaging

Beauty Pie earns largely positive reviews for effective, luxe-feeling formulas—standouts include Japanfusion Cleanser, Super Retinol, Über Youth Probiotic Serum Mist, Triple Hyaluronic Acid Eye Cream, candles, and fragrances—so yes, the brand works; however, reviews also flag inconsistencies and drawbacks like heavy fragrance, occasional misses (e.g., mascaras, some lipsticks), and confusing or restrictive membership mechanics. Reviewers praise the broad range and repeat-buys but note formula changes, stock unpredictability, and a desire for samples and more sustainable, refillable packaging.

  • I’d been a member of BeautyPie a few years ago, but had let my membership lapse. A family member had asked for the glycolic acid wipes again, so I rejoined. Aside from the subscription fee, the products are very good value. The wipes are as good as ever, and the body lotion seems to have improved. The glass jar makes it a gift worthy product, and the scent is nice. Worth the money for the quality.

  • This is one of my favorite sunscreens. Almost no white cast and it’s excellent under makeup. I use it virtually everyday. I love that it’s mineral based; no chemicals on my sensitive skin. Like most Beauty Pie items, it’s at a great price point if you are a member, like I am.

  • Falar desse produto incrível me dá até um prazer, foi sem dúvidas minhas melhor compra. Ele deixa a pele muito macia e sedosa e com uma aparência muito rejuvenescedora e muito hidratada mesmo, eu amei 😻

  • I've been a Beauty Pie member since I discovered it on Thingtesting in 2018. I love this brand so much - it's where I truly get all of my skincare, makeup and personal care products (and sometimes even a candle here and there). I love the subscription because of the price and the convenience of getting everything from one place. Coming from someone who loves trying new products all the time, it's a huge statement to say I switched everything over to one brand! I also love that they're always coming out with new products so it feels like a new shopping experience everytime I go to the website to stock up every other month or so.

Some of their products are hit or miss but I have found such holy grail products that I'm willing to experiment to find my favorites. They can be also kinda unpredictable with inventory too - they always seem to have products out of stock so sometimes its hard when I'm almost out of something I consider one of my essentials. I also wish they were doing more to have more sustainable packaging or refillable product systems given that they are already on a subscription business model.

  • I love every product I've purchased from Beauty Pie, but I don't want to pay the annual membership. I extended my free membership and stocked up. I think the prices are decent, but not inexpensive enough to cover the annual fee. You can find free three month memberships, snag one if you can! I tried the Youth Bomb line and the micellar water (Qi Energy), face spray, tinted lip balm. Loved them all, even though I didn't notice anti-aging affects from the Youth Bomb products, but I liked that they felt soothing and were thick enough for midwest winter.

  • This was a tryout for me. Now after 2 years I pay my early subscription because their products are flexible and actually affordable. I travel a lot and from face wash, to toner, treatment drops and moisturizers, I finally found a brand that my hypersensitive skin does not got angry nor do I have to take antihistamines to soothe any of the products I've tried and have been using.

  • Ok so I have a TON of beautypie products and can confidently say that 85% of the products have been Total winners. They have products that are "C" free meaning that you can use them even if you are undergoing treatment for cancer. They have innovative formulas and their products are sourced from the same labs the luxury companies have their skincare formulated at. The prices are unbelievable but the only catch is a membership is $50 a year.....which honestly is a bargain. They have skincare, fragrances (edt) and body care developed by master noses in France and Italy, nailpolish, haircare, makeup, beauty tools, supplements, candles, and accessories like makeup bags and scrunchies and sleep masks. The owner is incredibly active in the community and on her weekly Instagram company updates / new product launches/ FAQ / family chat and recommendations and question time, you can see how much she LOVES the company the employees and the customers.....she's always so bubbly and helpful and involved with the A to Z of everything. Honestly love her and she's the kind of BFF you wished you had.

  • My sister in law recommended this company to me. Really fab products (100’s of them) at very reasonably reduced prices. My personal favourite product of theirs at the moment is the soul provider foot scrub - amazingly good at managing hard skin.

  • I simply don’t buy any products from anywhere else anymore! The value for money is exceptional

I wish they made a moisturiser with integrated spf

  • It was an interesting format and I was nervous about quality of the products. I had no need to be nervous. I now have several items from Beauty Pie that are now in my desert island beauty kit. I always have to have back ups of them. Exceptional quality and unreal beauty technology.

I like doing one big order. Not all my favs and new bits are in stock at the same time.

  • Love the concept, but found that i always had a surplus amount of money to spend (not generally a bad thing), but i couldn't use the product fast enough to replace it, so ended up buying my friends a lot of products. Quality of the product is A+ though. I love the lipstick and lip liner - smooth and doesn't bleed. Dalily Moisturizer is rich without being sticky or oily.

I wish they would deliver to Canada. I had to order and ship to the US, and pick up when I travelled there.

  • Some really high quay things, some crap. Waaay too much fragrance. Packaging can be very non eco friendly.

    Feedback

The whole premise of their pricing- monthly membership and then lower per item costs- is a rip off.

  • The range and scope of products is incredible. So many good finds at really appealing prices. The products themselves feel luxe and high quality with premium ingredients. I especially love the clay pore detoxifying mask.

    Feedback

Don't love the cost of shipping for each order. It's a little steep compared to the cost of product.

  • Most of the Beauty Pie products I've tried have been great. The Tubing Mascara is BRILLIANT. It never smudges and makes lashes really thick and black. I also like the body exfoliator as a luxury treat - it's quite oily and moisturising so I only use it once every couple of weeks. I wasn't as impressed with the lipsticks as the colours didn't have much staying power, but this was a few years ago so they might have improved the formula since then. The pricing model is interesting, I don't buy enough to be a full member but I've bought a 1 month subscription from time to time to access specific products.

  • Some great products for a low price

    Feedback

Don't like the fragrance of some products, or the "member" subscription model

  • I love Beauty Pie. Completely exceeded my expectations. The Super Retinol is incredible, as is the Japanfusion moisturizer. Also a big fan of the lash primer and eye shadows. Really cannot go wrong!

  • Sent this to a friend as a gift - She loved it. The products are high quality and fun!

  • I saw the under eye genius on instagram and was intrigued. After learning that the company was founded by Marcia Kilgore I knew I had to try it. The eye cream is amazing! It erases any hint of dark circles and lines, and creates a subtle glowing luminescence. The company sources high end, best in class products from Korea, Japan, Switzerland, etc, and is able to sell them are a value price by eliminating all the marketing cost. I've just ordered a bunch of the skin care products and can't wait to try them.

  • I know there is a fee to join but it is totally worth it! I love their Jeju rehydration mist, Soul Providers body scrub, and Super Healthy hair oil. I have had a few misses but overall, the items I love are worth going back for. The prices are great. Wait for free shipping weekends or end of year when you can get some free gifts with purchase.
