Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

Overall, the Banza product line has been a great addition to the market and something I purchase regularly. I really like the pasta and frozen pizza, but am not a huge fan of the rice. I think Banza products are a great option to get more protein into your diet and are awesome gluten free options.
I specifically want to call out the pasta. You can barely tell its chickpeas and it has so much protein. Amazing alternative to regular pasta, especially for people watching their protein intake.
This is delicious for being made out of peas! try it!

Huge Banza fan!! Great taste and great macros, an awesome and easy substitution for any dish to get some extra protein.
Excellent experience for the money. Very well done.

My go to pasta, I will say the shape matters. I find the wheels hold up best after cooking and allow for the most flavor from your sauce.
Does it taste like gluten-based pasta? No, it’s not a perfect dupe. You also have to be very careful that you don’t overcook it; it gets pretty gross pretty fast. With that said, it’s one of my favorite GF pastas. I think it tastes great and value the protein boost in my diet. I do strongly recommend this. I wish it were a bit more affordable.
Relatively good- but definitely tasted very..fibrous! Great if you’re up for trying something new and getting in your protein! Much healthier than white pasta
If you're looking for a chickpea alternative, this pasta is for you. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but I'm ready to.
I've only tried their pasta but I'm obsessed! Tasted just like a regular old starchy pasta - that's a good thing IMO - but I knew it was healthier :)
Had a few of their frozen meals, it was okay as a gluten alternative! Pricey in my personal experience, with not a ton of variety

Pricing, variety of flavors
I love love this brand. I've recently gone gluten free, and I love that they offer delish gluten-free products that are super-affordable to the mainstream population. Their products are also clean and versatile!

I can't think of anything other than maybe making the frozen products a little more clean.

Have had the pasta and thought it was a great alternative to regular pasta. Great to try and was yummy but won't be my go-to since I don't think the health benefits are astonishingly different from regular pasta. But I could be totally wrong about that.

The best! If you are looking to add more protein to your diet, the pasta is the easiest swap you can make. Aside from that, the pizza is the best frozen pizza out there. Just get the crust and add your own sauce, cheese, and toppings.
I have only tried Banza pasta and it is excellent. Great texture and subtle flavor and easily used for any pasta dish. I tend to use this for Mediterranean inspired dishes.
I’m seriously impressed with all of Banza’s products. I have tried multiple shapes of the pasta, the mac & cheese, and the pizza. The pizza is INCREDIBLE. It definitely doesn’t taste exactly like regular pizza, but it is so so delicious that I don’t feel deprived and often choose it over regular frozen pizza even though I’m not strictly gluten-free.

I tried their chickpeas pasta and it was not it …. The pasta was too mushy and you are missing all the Al dente and flavor from traditional semolina flour dry pasta. Wish I liked this more but I couldn’t get into it.

I dig the brand and what they are trying to do, however; I do think the texture continues to be "off". The pasta in particular gets mushy very quickly and the pizza crust just feels overly dense.

I do think the taste is great but the product needs more work.
I've tried the mac and cheese and the pizza, both are very well done for a healthy alternative

Create packaging that doesn't feel so serious

I love Banza! I am obsessed with pasta, and almost always now use Banza noodles - love getting a good amount of protein from my pasta :) Also has a really good texture.

Some of the shapes will fall apart and not hold its shape.
