Stasher Bag wins praise in reviews for durable, leak-resistant silicone storage that replaces single‑use plastic, performs in freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and even sous vide, and comes in versatile, space‑saving sizes and colors. However, many reviewers flag persistent drawbacks: tough-to-clean seams, slow drying that can lead to odors or mildew, occasional staining or smell retention, tricky openings, and rare tears or imperfect seals with liquids—making bowls/stand-up styles preferred for ease of use.

  • I've used Stasher Bags for years and its super functional. It can be used for anything and can be used in the freezer too!

  • I have been buying Stasher bags for years! They are super durable and great to travel with. Can even throw them in the dishwasher.

  • These are a must in my home. I love how versatile they are. I use them when I travel, storing food, packing lunches and even include them in organizing. Plastic ziplock bags are no longer in my household.

  • I love the concept of having a reusable alternative to a ziplock bag. I bought this specifically to use with my sous vide circulator, unfortunately, the thickness and sturdiness of the bag, doesn't allow for a proper vacuum. As a bag, it does the job but it is hard to clean and dry, even in the dishwasher.

  • I love stasher! It is eco friendly, reusable storage bags that would cut down the number of ziplock bags you'll be using. You can put it in the fridge, freeze it, pop it in the microwave, even in the oven (I've never tried in the oven though) and it is dishwasher safe!! How great can it be!? I use it for meal preps or whenever I have a half an onion left over, I store it in here. It is firm and easy to clean and I have been using these for the last 2 years which is still looking good!

  • I love the small ones to share stuff like clean and dirty Make-up erasers in my purse (one for clean one for dirty) and I use the small ones for other small toiletries as well but I wish the ones with the carabiner weren’t so pricey.

POS presentation often is awful - I’ve seen the bags be crazy dusty in target, Whole Foods, etc. that’s why I only order them online

  • I love the ida of Stasher. I've been trying to reduce my plastic waste so this has been a small investment.

The bags are really tough to clean. They hold on smells and stains and take a LONG time to dry out.

  • Big fans of stasher bags as alternatives to single use plastic bags! We love storing our snacks in them. It's important to keep them clean and well maintained to ensure freshness and quality of your snacks!

  • The bags are sturdy and the pockets seal well, but they are expensive. I also found them annoying to clean and to dry, which always makes me nervous when it comes to food storage.

  • Sustainable and stylish! These reusable bags are sturdy, versatile, and easy to clean. Perfect for meal prep, travel, or organizing. Easy to clean and a smart swap for single-use plastic. A zero-waste, must-have.

  • I love this concept from an ecological perspective, I bought these thinking, ‘I’ll do my part’. The bags are attractive and well made and do exactly what they are supposed to do. But, I don’t like having to clean out the bags nor have I devoted time to reuse these everyday. I need to establish new habits if Im going to keep them

  • I love stasher bags! They can be washed easily in the sink or in the dishwasher, which makes them a great reusable alternative to Ziploc bags. They are great for things like food or jewelry and hit accessories when you're traveling. They are super durable and versatile.

  • So these change everything in the kitchen. Or they can. I’ve been collecting them over a couple years I think. They are so versatile, easy to clean, and are great to use in spaces where you need to conserve it. I want to replace all my containers except for a few made of glass with more Stasher bags. I swear food lasts much longer when you store it in one.

  • Just bought mine and I love them. I use them for sandwiches and snacks, and they don't leak! easy to seal and throw in a purse.

  • These bags are genius! You can freeze them, use them for basically anything. I've put things other than food in them too! They are long lasting, can go in the dishwasher, and it seems like they never break! i have some old ones that are still invincible!

  • a great solution when you do not have a ton of space, or for travel! perfect make bag

  • I like my Stasher bags because they have a really good closure on the top. I find other reusable bags lose their seal over time. The only thing I struggle with is that these retain a smell and it is so hard to get out. I wish they were a bit easier to clean.

  • Plastic sandwich bags are my biggest single use plastic item and it kills me. And the turtles. But I digress. When I came across these, I immediately bought them. It seemed like a good investment, both for my wallet and the environment. I use baggies for almost everything, so this would cut out a lot of waste. It was on the pricey side of things, but I was in that “long term pay off” mindset. This thing is great when it comes to storing hard fruits or veggies, like carrots or apples. It’s also good as a water-resistant container for beach trips. Excellent for leftover pizza. But I don’t think it’s good for soft foods, marinating, or—despite their claim—freezing. I felt like Sisyphus while I tried to wrestle a chicken breast into one of these bags. I found that the material is pretty resistant to movement and suctions in on itself, making putting sandwiches, with its fragile bread, or leafy leftovers into it a nightmare. I REALLY wanted to like these. It would have been the final stone in my environmentally conscious gauntlet. But I really feel like these flopped for most practical uses in my lifestyle.
