Stasher Bag wins praise in reviews for durable, leak-resistant silicone storage that replaces single‑use plastic, performs in freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and even sous vide, and comes in versatile, space‑saving sizes and colors. However, many reviewers flag persistent drawbacks: tough-to-clean seams, slow drying that can lead to odors or mildew, occasional staining or smell retention, tricky openings, and rare tears or imperfect seals with liquids—making bowls/stand-up styles preferred for ease of use.

Love Stasher bags and would really love to keep using them more and fully stop using single-use plastic bags. I don't have kids yet though so that might be the true test, as without kids we don't end up using our stasher bags a ton. I enjoy the colors and they seal really well (sometimes too well and can be a tiny bit tough to open but much prefer that over spillage).
Feedback
They can be annoying to clean by hand and sometimes I worry the dishwasher won't thoroughly clean the inside of the bags that actually end up with food on them, but that might be my own paranoia and perhaps if I use them more and stick to only dish-washing them I'll find that concern dissipate.
I enjoy stasher bags a lot! Super easy to use and I just stick them in the dishwasher to clean. Perfect everyday product.
I really like my Stasher bags, though I don't use them for storing food products anymore. For those struggling with leftover scent- look up "the oven method" of removing any residual smell. I have various sizes and colors of Stasher bags and they all make me so happy. I typically use them for travel- storing liquids, jewelry, medications, random things that don't have a place in other bags.
These work so well! They are expensive but if you clean them correctly they will last years. I've used them for food storage but honestly I like to keep them as travel pouches to organize my things.

Stasher bags are my favorite. I love they are dishwasher safe and reusable and really keep my food fresh and preserved. I use them for everything - freezer, fridge, pantry, toiletry, etc.! Packaging is also recyclable! And who doesn't love all the fun colors and they come in such a variety of sizes you can find one for whatever need you have.
I've tried many reusable bags and have to say this one shines - it's the most durable which makes it easier to freeze, clean, and heat. They also make a stand-up style. It's definitely not a necessity to living low-waste, but it sure does help. Yes, you can re-use your single use bags, but this product makes it feel safer since those bags release microplastics. I use these bags for everything in the kitchen - to freeze, defrost meat, store snacks for the road. I've only purchased them on sale, which makes the price more affordabe!

The only thing they don't have that other brands have is a gallon size, which they might be working on or have released recently. The price is also steep, but worth it in the long run.

These bags are awesome! I love the shape, the feel, and the mission. They are expensive but if you take care of them, they will last a long time (from what I hear - I haven't had mine for that long). It weirds me out a bit that they are microwave safe though.

Nothing really, I don't know enough about the industry to advise here. Maybe the price point, they are super expensive, and I think if they were able to lower it, more people would get on the stasher bag train.
These bags are a great alternative to plastic sandwich bags. They offer a lot of different styles and sizes for anything you could need it for. I use them often for work (I don't have kids) and put my lunches and snacks in there.

Sometimes it can be hard to get stuff in and out of them.
Absolutely obsessed with this brand!!! I was lucky enough to get a few bags for free and I use them all the time. Good for leftovers, meal prep, snacks, etc. Great way to cut down on waste and on their instagram they are always posting new ways to use bags.

A little pricey but since they're used over and over it's worth it.

I love Stasher bags! I tried lower quality reusable bags before finally purchasing these and I’m never going back, I probably have like 10. They clean so well in the dishwasher and close so tightly. Very high quality and very thick. I mostly use it for food but I’ve started using a standup one as my makeup bag when traveling.
I love how durable their stashed bags are! I have them in a different sizes and they’re great for travel too.
I LOVE my stasher bags! I usually buy direct from their website when they run sales or have bundles but I know they're available elsewhere. They're super easy to wash (I rinse then throw in the dishwasher) and very cute. I love the variety of sizes they come in as well! Great quality and worth the money in my opinion as a sustainable option!

pricing maybe
Love these bags! Have a bunch of different sizes that I use for freezing food, packing lunch, and storing food. Works great for all of the above and has let me save tons of disposable baggies. Washes very well in the dishwasher and hasn't stained.
I love using my stasher bags for everything from good to travel essentials. I appreciate the large range of colors and sizes and think everyone needs a few stasher bags.

They’re expensive compared to other reusable bags and I can never get the water spots off once I wash it.
These should be a mandatory in every household. SO easy to use. SO easy to clean. You will never need a plastic bag again. As a hack: these would make the perfect unsuspecting gift for a housewarming or anyone on the go!

Nothing :)
I like then and the fun colors.

They can be difficult to open since the pull area is short, however the difficulty also keeps them closed well. They can be difficult to clean because of how floppy they are as well. You can find other reusable bags for a lower price.
I like the reusability, and how sturdy they feel - I have quite a few sizes from the pocket mini version to the near-gallon stand up version. The structure of them makes them hard to clean, and it's stopped me from using them for things other than more dry foods like pretzels and dates and such which don't squish or stain. And it's hard to get things in and out of the baby pocket bags.
Feedback
Cleanability - these are not easy to scrub out and because their default position is nearly closed, they're not really dishwasher-able either. And it's hard to get things in and out of them - stuffing a sandwich in past the rigid sealing section makes for a messy sandwich.
Stasher bags are good and fine but my pet peeve is that the sandwich size bag does not actually fit a real sandwich and it's super difficult to get things inside of the bags. I've ended up using all of my stasher bags to store cables and other random things for travel, not for food. Tupperware still wins for food storage in my opinion!

Make the sandwich size a big bigger so you can fit a real sandwich in there!
I've been washing and reusing sandwich and storage bags since the late '90s. After trying a variety of cheaper brands of reusable sandwich and snack bags, I finally bit the bullet and bought 16 Stasher bags for my family in December--2 snack-size and 2 sandwich-size per person. (We all bring our lunches to work/school daily.) Verdict: They are awesome. They close and open easily, they don't leak, and they go through the dishwasher beautifully. Plus, they were wrapped in brown paper. They're pricy enough that I am not going to replace all the plastic bags in my house with them--we still put all our baked goods in regular zip-lock --but using these bags has cut down significantly on the use and subsequent washing of plastic bags in our house.

Only cost. If they were more affordable, I would buy more of them. However, they are the only reusable bags that have worked for us.
I really like my Stasher bags as a sustainable product to replace plastic bags and have used them from anything to carrying snacks to lunch. The quality is great and they've held up nicely after many times in the dishwasher.
Feedback
While they are able to go in the dishwasher, they sometimes get a weird film on them from the dishwasher- which can easily be wiped/washed- but it would be easier if the bag flipped inside out to clean the crevices more easily
