Reviews mention

  • Vibrant flavor variety
  • Refreshing fizzy mouthfeel
  • Lighter, cleaner ingredients
  • Eye-catching playful packaging
  • Lingering stevia aftertaste
  • Occasionally too sweet profile
  • Inconsistent soda dupes
  • Lower carbonation intensity

Poppi earns largely positive reviews as a tasty, lower-sugar soda alternative that many say curbs cravings, feels lighter on the stomach, and sometimes helps with bloating; favorites include Raspberry Rose, Orange, Ginger Lime, Doc Pop, Cherry Limeade, Classic Cola, and Root Beer. Reviews also flag weaknesses: a noticeable stevia/artificial aftertaste for some, occasional vinegary tang or sweetness that runs too high, less carbonation than expected, mixed success of cola/root beer “dupes,” and inconsistent alignment with claimed gut benefits.

  • I want to love Poppi more, I love soda water and soda alternatives so I thought I'd really enjoy it. Unfortunately I just haven't found a Poppi flavor I like besides the strawberry one. I feel like the flavors are a bit boring and muted when I compare them to a bolder drink I'd grab like Olipop (my fav) or a kombucha. I like that they're not overly sweet or fake sweet tasting though so the one flavor I like is light and enjoyable.

  • I have at least one of these a day, my favorite flavors are ginger lime, raspberry rose and cherry limeade but they are all delicious. I love knowing that they have prebiotics in them too and that they're actually good for me!

  • Very nice munching on it, didn’t taste too bad I enjoyed it!

  • For a a change, I decided to try this Soto. It was visually appealing. The flavors sounded tasty, and for some reason I thought it had more healthy ingredients than regular soda. It was more expensive, which, for some reason I felt like I was buying myself a treat. The strawberry lemonade was a good taste and refreshing, but I don’t think I would continue to purchase this product.

  • Way too sweet for me. I really wanted to like it because I really love the idea of a healthy prebiotic soda but I had trouble drinking it because it was too sweet

  • It’s ok I like their Dr Pepper flavor but the ingredients aren’t as good for you as Olipop.

  • There is so much hype around Poppi sodas, but they're worth it. I especially appreciate them during the times I've been pregnant and missing cocktails. A great alternative when you're craving a soda.

  • still haven't found my flavor yet- most I try just end up all tasting like stevia and a bit off. love the intent and replacement for soda, I'm just not the most sold given the 5 or so flavors I've already tried! but I keep thinking I will like them so maybe one day i'll find the best one lol

  • I like most of the flavors. Strawberry lemonade is my favorite. Ingredients are good too. An infrequent treat.

  • I really didn’t love the stevia aftertaste of the Raspberry flavor. I actually couldn’t drink it all.

  • I've only tried the Strawberry Lemon, but love the flavor and is pretty delicious for a prebiotic soda. Only con is that I felt like it didn't hold the fizz that well once opened, so you have to drink pretty quickly.

  • I tried a couple of flavours on a recent visit to the US. There's nothing like this available in the UK. I loved the soda pop flavours and knowing that it was relatively low in sugar, plus the bright packaging was second only to Olipop in my mind.

It's pretty expensive, I think it was around $3.50 a can.

    is this healthy??

  • The only flavors I tried that were available at my local Wegman's were Raspberry Rose, Ginger Lime, and Strawberry Lemon. I wish I got a chance to try the standard cola, doc pep, and root beer alternatives as well as the other flavors on the website. I have to say that I was not a fan of the raspberry rose or the strawberry lemon, mostly due to the fact that I eat to eat my berries rather than drink them! I did like the Ginger Lime a lot! I like anything with ginger! The addition of apple cider vinegar and the fact that it only is 15 calories mostly from only 4 grams of added sugar is a huge bonus! Definitely beats traditional sodas out the water!!! In the end, everyone has a different flavor palate!

Use of stevia; I'm not a big fan of it as it's aftertaste on the tongue is instantaneous and uncanny. While I commend them on making this drink a low-sugar one, I would recommend the use of monk fruit instead. The price point also needs to come down at some point

  • Is it tasty? Yes. Do I absolutely think of this as soda when I drink it? Also yes. While it's true that they have less sugars than traditional soda, I don't agree with it being marketed as a healthy drink. Still, it's tasty and I'm happy to enjoy it in moderation.

  • These drinks while being a good alternative to sodas don’t hit the spot for me on the flavors. But I will sacrifice for the health benefits

  • Wonderful alternative to regular soda and all the nasty ingredients. Wonderful flavors and kids love them. Fun, recyclable packaging and easy to find in a lot of stores. Love that they are lower in sugar.

  • I love this & if it’s prebiotic, I’m on it!!! Love most of the flavors that I’ve tried. And for what it is, it is a reasonable price. I have an autoimmune disease in my stomach so I love having a Poppi without guilt. The watermelon is the BEST flavor that they make in my opinion. Don’t skip this one. It’s actually somewhere between watermelon and strawberry. I definitely recommend! 🤍🍉🤍

  • Poppi is a solid alternative to traditional sodas if you're looking to cut down on sugar while still enjoying a fizzy drink. The prebiotic soda has a unique flavor, and I appreciate the health benefits it offers with its digestive support. The flavors are refreshing, but some, like the Apple Cider Vinegar one, can take a little getting used to—they’re definitely not as sweet or fruity as regular sodas. I like that it has minimal sugar and the added bonus of probiotics, but I wish the taste was a little more balanced. It’s a good option if you’re looking for a healthier soda alternative, but it may not be for everyone. Overall, Poppi is a nice option to try, but there’s room for improvement in flavor variety and smoothness.
