OLAPLEX earns polarized reviews: it visibly strengthens and revives bleached or damaged hair—No. 3 Hair Perfector, No. 6 Bond Smoother, No. 7 Bonding Oil, and the 4P Purple Shampoo are frequent standouts—yet many users report dryness, heaviness, or even increased shedding and brittleness if overused. The brand is praised for salon-clean scent, rich lather, and fast toning, but criticized for inconsistent results across hair types and small, hard-to-dispense bottles.

I fell into the Olaplex hype through social media, but I don't think it did what it was supposed to for my hair. I do love how it smells, the variety of products and how to use, etc. Pricing seems a bit high but I also understand there's not a lot of other options that offer the same restorative hair products.

Better pricing models, even maybe kits or sample packages to try out
The bonding oil is a new staple in my haircare routine! Such a great brand and product
I like Olaplex but I'm not sure if I can tell a difference in my hair after using it. It's expensive so I wish there was more of a clear effect. The packaging is chic and minimal and it does look beautiful on a shower shelf.
pretty good quality! I have tried the shampoo conditioner and use the bonding oil. I do think it isn't great for thin hair in my experience but high quality - so giving it a 4/5 .

could use less plastic in packaging
Helps smooth and strengthen my hair
I’ve used the oliplex shampoo and think it was very good, but I switched to another brand for a different need. I’ve also tried the bond builder mask, which is excellent, and I still use it.

I use the Bond Maintenance Shampoo and Conditioner and have felt a noticeable improvement to hair strength even though I don't have much colour damage.

It would be great if they can consider larger packaging sizes or refill packaging, as their bottles are definitely on the smaller end. A minor suggestion would be to improve the quality of the caps. They suggest to leave the bottle upside down for easy use, but the caps are not leakproof and product would spill out overnight.
I think the best part of using the shampoo and conditioner is there is hardly any fragrance. I like this so it's not overpowering. I use the No. 4 & 5 and my hair is so soft afterwards and it stays nice and clean for 2 days before it starts getting oily and in need of another wash. Also No 9 is good to smooth out any flyaways and dry ends.
Very expensive for mediocre results, in my experience
smells good but didn't do much. have a few of the products - shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioning mask. smells good but can't say it actually helped my frizz at all. the kerastis brand usually works the best for me (i have very frizzy, coarse hair) i can see it definitely working better for people with less...unruly... hair
I really really don't get the hype around this brand. For the price, prestige, and praise from multiple salons, it doesn't live up to its promises. I've tried multiple products, primarily for frizz and shine, also the in-shower treatments...nothing changes and it ends up sitting in my shower caddy until I justify throwing it away.

This product worked great for my hair! I wish it had better ingredients since it is so expensive. Overall though I would use this product again.
Olaplex has great shampoo that I feel comfortable using with colored hair.
Not a huge fan of their restore shampoo/conditioner. However, the blonde purple shampoo is amazing! It prevented my highlighted hair from becoming brassy at college.

I have thin dry hair and this helped it to feel more moisturizing. My favorite by far is the four-in-1 moisturizing mask which I use about once a month. One bottle has lasted me for a couple of years. I highly recommend the moisturizing mask.
Best shampoo for bleached hair. When used as directed, was best for brassiness and for keeping ends smoothed.
I've tried their shampoo and conditioner. I really like both - they lather extremely well. I've stayed away from No 3 repair perfector because of the class action lawsuits in Canada for having lilial in it.

Olaplex no. 3 has been fantastic for my hair! It’s truly incomparable in the industry.
I bleach my hair regularly (salon highlights) so damage and dryness are my main concerns; Olaplex is a little overrated in my opinion. Shampoo and conditioner smell good but didn't "wow" me. Bond oil is great.
Perfect to tone blonde at home!
