Oatly earns strong reviews for creamy, dairy-like texture—especially the Barista Edition, which froths reliably for café-level lattes and blends beautifully in coffee, matcha, and baking—while critiques target ingredient lists with added oils/gums and a sometimes sweet or “oaty” aftertaste. Reviews also note occasional gut sensitivity and glucose spikes, plus variability in thickness across versions, making Oatly a standout for performance in drinks but not ideal for those seeking the cleanest formulas.

Oat milk is one of the best milk-alternatives when it comes to coffee. Oatly is possibly the best and most accessible to me in this space. It is preferred on those days where we want a change up from just black coffee.
Pretty darn good!

nutritious and natural flavor are best.
One of my favorite oat milks/non-dairy milks. It has a great froth for lattes and cappuccinos. Oatly also had a great texture - I’ve noticed that some other oat mills are slimy or grainy but Oatly is consistently great.
Don’t care for their milk. Ingredients are bad. But they make such good softserve. 16 handles sells it.
To be honest - i loved Oatly - it works so well in coffee and is silky smooth to the taste. You're probably wondering why I didn't give it a fully on 5 outta 5 rating.. unfortunately for me, its the ingredients. At this point with foods in America, im trying to buy more healthy options without all the extra additives.
I have always liked Oatly and used to get the milk all of the time. The only reason I stopped getting it was because it is expensive. But I love the taste of the milk, especially in my coffee. Recently I have been absolutely loving the vanilla yogurt by Oatly. Great consistency and taste for the cinnamon granola I have.
I love almond milk and oat milk and this one tastes great. I would give it a 5/5 if the ingredients were a little better. I don’t love everything on the ingredient list.
One of my go to non dairy brands!!
The Oatly oatmilk is good, but usually more expensive than other oat milk options which is what deters me since I don't taste much of a difference, but if this is what is available it is very good and I love that they're expanding into ice cream, yogurt, etc!
Oatly is by far the best oat milk I have tried and pairs very well with coffee and hot drinks.
I will usually gravitate towards Oatly when I buy oat milk and got my parents hooked on it for their coffee. However, I've heard some recent news on their ingredient list and want to be more informed before I repurchase.

Frothy and delicious! I love this in my coffee.
The best oat milk I’ve tried, and I have tried plenty! The flavor is just very on point. Even the low fat one is super creamy and rich. I love eating cereal with Oatly or throwing a few splashes in my coffee/tea.

Oatly’s marketing is amazing!! No matter which store I am at, I gravitate toward the design and the brand. My local coffee shops carry Oatly so it is an obvious choice for me at home.
Oh Oatly, how I adore you! I've tried other brands, and I keep coming back. The full fat Oatly is the most similar to real milk of any fake milk out there. The barista blend is great too- anywhere you'd use real milk, use Oatly! It's an everyday habit for me, in coffee, cereal, you name it, it's with Oatly.

I love Oatly! It's creamy and delicious. I always grab this during cold-brew season and it's maybe it's the texture, but it's the perfect base for overnight oats, chia seeds and smoothies. This is my go-to milk alternative!
It’s ok if they have it in a coffee shop although I wouldn’t buy for myself. Taste is average. Overpriced for what it is.
It was good and creamy!
Oatly makes everything taste better. I have used this for my coffee which is great! But also for baking, cooking and smoothies. It adds a fluffiness that no other product does. Only thing I personally wouldn’t do is drink it plain. The taste itself is a thing to get used to I guess but in things I don’t notice the difference taste wise but notice a thicker fuller texture. I spend my own money to buy this product. I find because of the fullness of the oatly I prefer it over other non dairy beverages. None of which I would drink straight from the carton.
