Necessaire earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the brand delivers sensorial, spa-like body care—especially Eucalyptus and Sandalwood Body Washes, the Body Exfoliator, Body Serum, select deodorants, and a well-loved mineral Sunscreen—yet several reviewers find formulas average for the hype and small sizes. Strengths include chic, functional packaging, gentle options for sensitive skin, and standout scents; weaknesses surface around inconsistent deodorant efficacy/irritation, lotion and serum being light for very dry skin, occasional faulty pumps or hard-to-empty tubes, and scents (celery/oregano notes, weak longevity) not pleasing everyone.

Love the eucalyptus scented body exfoliator. My legs feels so soft afterwards! Love!
Everything they sell feels incredible. I love the body wash and shower scrub—the scents are so refreshing—because they don’t strip my skin but leave me feeling clean and hydrated.
This was the first body serum I saw on the market, and I was so excited to try it. I found it not very effective and more of an annoying extra step out of the shower before applying lotion. I like the concept of body serum, but this is not effective enough to justify the price point for me, especially with more affordable body serums now available on the market.
The body lotion is amazing, thick, and melts into my skin
I am reviewing, in particular, the Necessaire body lotion and hand cream. They are luxurious staples - not "necessary" for basics, but absolutely a great upgrade in aesthetics and experience. They also make a great gift for birthdays and the holidays - simple, easy packaging with effective products. The body lotion and hand cream work so well that it makes me want to try more of their product line! These two items are a great intro to the brand and can be universally loved.
I have tried multiple necessaire items including the body exfoliator, body serum, body lotion and sunscreen. They are all really high-quality items. I like that the body serum and body lotion are lightweight enough to wear during the day, and I can get them in unscented so that I can use different body washes and perfumes. The body exfoliator is the one item that I would not repurchase due to my pickiness with body scrubs having large granules. Other than that, I would try new Necessaire products any day, and I am a sucker for that chic minimalist, packaging.
I love the packaging and love the formula of the this product! Nice and rich and cleaner takes away all your make up!
I've used the hair care products and they work decently well. I didn't love the smell of the "fragrance free" products - it almost smelled a bit like parsley. A bit strange. But they do the job! I like their body wash products a lot more and you don't need a ton per use, giving it a lot more value.
While I LOVED the body wash, I found it slightly difficult to get out of the container. The scent was really nice and a little goes a long way. Overall a good body wash, but I don't know if I would repurchase solely because of the price. Glad I tried it though!
Good basic products. Overpriced in my opinion. Enjoyed using but you can find cheaper products out there

I tried the Eucalyptus Deodorant and love it! It smells good and works well, even when I’ve been running around all day. Love the packaging and that it isn’t too expensive.
Love love love this brand and it's products!
Overpriced and underwhelming. The formulas do not feel luxe enough for the price point. Nice branding, but average products.
this is a great simple luxury body care line

I have repurchased lotions, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. numerous times. Also tried their body serum and scalp serum, which are fun but I'm not sure about the effects. I really like the squeeze bottles - they are non-slip and easy to use in the shower, a bonus being travel-friendly (tops screw close).
I purchased the Necessaire - The Body Wash with Niacinamide, Vitamins and Plant Surfactants from Sephora. I've been looking for a fresh smelling body wash with good ingredients and this was it! I tried the Eucalyptus and it was a lovely scent. The gel foamed up nicely. It was hydrating and refreshing. I will purchase again.
Beautiful branding with effective products to boot. I've tried the scrub, body serum, body wash with zero qualms and multiple repurchases. I love that the company focuses on treating your body with the same love as the skin on your face.

It's a bit pricey.
I've used Necessaire for years. Upfront I'll say, be ready to shell out some $$$ if you get hooked on this brand. If you wanna try their products, the best they have to offer, in my experience (and I've tried literally everything they offer except their sunscreen and their brand new scalp serum), is: The Body Wash - ladies, I have had zero problems using this on my vag. If you are sensitive to products (especially soaps) "down there", you know what it's like to find that rare unicorn product that smells great, works, and doesn't send you running to the gyno. I use Eucalyptus and Sandalwood scents with no issues. They smell natural and understated. It lathers very well in a sea sponge. An aluminum, XL refill bottle is also available, which I use to refill a wall mounted soap dispenser. The Body Serum - In my past, I've suffered eczema and *gasp* backne. A few years ago I started combining The Body Serum with neutral body lotions (rotating with the seasons), and my skin softened, cleared up, stopped itching, and generally felt healthier and more comfortable. It's an odorless gel. Super pricey, but worth it. The Body Exfoliator is no nonsense and doubles as a bodywash. No second wash is necessary wherever you use it. Doesn't dissolve like sugar, but also very gentle.

I don't know if I'll ever forgive Necessaire for discontinuing their original The Deodorant. That stuff was gold. I've looked everywhere for a dupe and it doesn't exist -- nothing even close to that magic formula. Also, I am not a fan of their Body Lotion (it's a texture issue for me) or their hair care products (hard NO for curly, coarse, thick hair)
I have mixed feelings about Nécessaire. I love their scented body wash, and wish they offered other scented products. The body essentials set, is so worth it quality-wise and it is an effective moisturizer and cleanser, I just wish the other products were scented. I understand the need for unscented products for allergies, etc. but wish both options were available for people like me that don't have sensitive skin / scent allergies.
I love unscented products + have chronic scalp issues and I wanted to try the Necessarie unscented shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo lathers up really nicely and the conditioner makes my hair really silky. I don't know if it's the products or just my lifestyle or what, but I have had way less scalp itchiness than I have historically. I will continue to use!

The twist top isn't my personal favorite.
