Growing up in the South, you get home made banana pudding all the time - so I was really excited to try this and honestly it was mid. I do end up at Magnolia every once in a while because it does feel like the only option in the city for banana pudding, but it doesn't meet the hype.

Really delicious! My mom and I made this during Covid and a cooking class.

I lived in CT for 4 years and was a short train ride to NY where I would always go to Magnolia. This year for my dad’s birthday I shipped him some banana pudding since it’s his favorite. The quality was the exact same as purchasing it in bakery, and the shipping ordering process made it so convenient and easy. I would definitely recommend ordering, some of the best pudding around (btw the sampler pack with red velvet, classic banana, and chocolate hazelnut is off the charts).

Picked this up on a trip to Chicago because I'd heard about it for years. The cupcakes were dry and the frosting was greasy. Really wish I didn't hype it up before I gave it to my friends - did not live up to expectations.

Magnolia bakery has amazing products and they are absolutely delicious. You must definitely have to try.

Everything they make is amazing. A little sweet but yummy!

I will say the Banana Pudding is to die for, but everything is super overpriced even in store. And the cupcakes I got last time I was there were stale - $10 for 2 cupcakes too!

As anyone who has eaten banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery will tell you, it is AMAZING. Creamy, the right texture, totally 10/10. Still, since going vegan, I haven’t been able to go near any Magnolia Products. Unlike most bakeries of their scale, they offer nothing vegan. It’s a real disappointment and prevents me from even buying standard options as gifts for friends like I used to.

The banana pudding is the best banana pudding you'll get, but everything else is okay, and a bit too sweet.

I don’t find this bakery to be anything more special than another NYC bakery down the street. Their food and treats are yummy but not a wait in line for hours sort of yummy. It might have something to do with me also not liking bananas so maybe that is worth it

Tried them a few times while I was in new york and I absolutely love their pudding (specifically their banana pudding)! Everything was soft, creamy, and not too sweet which was perfect for me

I just tried Magnolia Bakery for the first time and WOW. The Banana Pudding was as good as everyone says and more. I got the medium size and I was able to snack on it for multiple days. It is sweet so you don't need too much, which is great. I also tried a Lemon Bar (which is my favorite dessert) and that was amazing as well. Also not too overpriced like some bakeries can be- so I appreciate that. All in all, would definitely be returning!

The iconic Magnolia Bakery! Even if you're not a fan of bananas, pudding, or banana pudding definitely worth trying one time for the one time.

I tried Magnolia Bakery for the first time during my last trip to NYC. Their banana pudding was delicious, but I found their other items, like their coffee and muffins, to be underwhelming. It's also quite expensive, but that just might be due to its location.

Their banana pudding is known for a reason! I did try their seasonal pumpkin spice banana pudding and really preferred the original, although I'm also not a fan of Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes.
