Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.

This was very helpful during my half marathon - I felt much more hydrated after drinking. It also tastes much better than other brands on the market. A little salty as expected for electrolyte replacement drink.
Its alright. I do like a good hydro like product post work out but some of these flavors are a bit sweet and some are just a bit off. I have found some other brands I like more and arent as cheeky with some of their flavors.
Esta bebida es una opción buenísima para llevar en el bolso y siempre podrás tener que tomar a la mano, es deliciosa y aparte te da un plus de energía
I enjoy the energy boost I get from using this. I don't always get the boost (not sure why - maybe lack of sleep), but I notice it when it's there. The flavor is okay. I like it the more if it's diluted in a bigger water bottle. I suppose the taste is about as good as you can get on a product like this, but it's just a bit too much for my taste which is why I took off a star. Oh, and I like that I'm likely to force down more water since I'm paying for a product that's I've added to it (instead of letting the water just sit in a bottle and throwing it out the next day for fresh water).
This stuff is pure sugar. That’s the truth. If you’re fine with that, I think it’s a great way to make water taste better. Or if you’re having trouble drinking the requisite 8 glasses, you can use this to boost your hydration levels. I hear it’s also great for hangovers (I don’t drink, so I can’t vouch for that). But at the end of the day, I don’t need any extra sugar in my diet.
A sample this months and I love the taste of it. I’m not sure if I really got benefit from it but I would try it again. It was a nice lemon flavor had a really clean taste to it.

I always take a Liquid IV if I’m feeling dehydrated or if I’m gonna be going out later that night. I feel like it gives me peace of mind, knowing that I have more hydration and electrolytes, but I wouldn’t say that it taste the best compared to other electrolyte powders. To me Liquid IVs are pretty sugary and almost a little syrupy, which is not my preferred texture.
One of the tastier electrolyte drink mixes. Mixes well, good flavor, and easy package to handle. Also does well for during and post sweaty workouts. A bit pricy but worth it for the occasional days/mornings that you need to get feeling better soon.

I have used liquid iv on my own, but the real testimony I want to share is about my grandparents. They are in their 80s and have struggled to drink enough water to say hydrated as they have gotten older. They have started drinking liquid IV and have noticed a huge difference in their overall energy levels. My grandma notices when she doesn't drink it because she doesn't sleep as well and sometimes gets leg cramps. This product has made a huge difference in their quality of life.

Had horrible food poisoning and Liquid IV was the only thing that actually helped hydrate me and get me back to normal!
I think that these hydration Liquid IV's taste SOOOOO good! I really like that they are easy to take on the go. I do think they have more sugar than needed but if you need a quick on the go electrolyte boost - yum try the passion fruit!
Pros: large range of flavors, most that I've have been tasty (the golden cherry was a touch too artificial in my opinion). The packaging is convenient and travel friendly. Cons: Some flavors taste too sweet, cost per sachet is high.
I think it works well for hydration and I always carry in my suitcase in case I get dehydrated on a plane or after a few drinks. My downside is I don't really like the taste. Maybe I got a bad flavor, the lemon lime, just isn't for me. If I am dehydrated it is a great easy way to feel better, but I wouldn't drink it unless I had to which is why I don't rate it higher. I like that it can cut down plastic packaging because its a small pouch instead of a bottle of electrolyte water, so that is nice.
It’s like Gatorade but I feel rich.
I think this is the biggest scam and way too unhealthy for you. You need electrolytes when you are hungover and don’t need all the sugar associated with the product. I highly recommend Salt Sticks or Nuuns instead.
I love Liquid IV! Initially, the high sugar content turned me off. But I do feel more hydrated when I drink it! I usually use one in 64 oz of water.

Helpful in staving off the inevitable.
I used Liquid IV every day for months because I have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, or POTS, a chronic illness that requires that I keep my salt levels up to manage symptoms. This product just wasn’t for me. The artificial flavors just aren’t great, and I worry about how healthful using this would be over time. It is also expensive if you need something for daily use. I ended up finding an alternative that included a very basic, World Health Organization recommended formulation and have felt much better about using that daily.
I use half a packet of Liquid IV in my water bottle during every workout since I'm prone to light headedness and cramps, and it's definitely helped alleviate that! A staple in the summertime especially.
