Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.

I’ve gotten these for free in giveaway bags. I personally don’t like the aftertaste and did not feel any extra hydration.
I travel a lot and I walk a lot when I'm traveling so, despite how much water I drink, I often get dehydrated or struggle with low electrolytes. For that reason, I try a lot of electrolyte supplements and powders. I like Liquid I.V. It certainly helps quickly and has aided in my recovery a few times. The only downside is that it has a slightly bitter aftertaste on some of the flavors but that is to be somewhat expected from an electrolyte rehydration mix.
I am horrible about drinking water so sometimes when I need a boost of hydration, I take a liquid IV. I like the different flavor offerings - makes it fun to try and encourage me to drink!

Lower the sugar content. Maybe offer something that's kid-friendly.
Delicious and convenient. Dissolves so impressively almost immediately in cold water. Great for before bed / mornings after nights out.

Pricey! Don't see how this is that much different than other more affordable hydration mix brands or gatorade powder.
Feel dehydrated? Hungover? Planning a long night out? Liquid IV is my savior for all of these. Even the Energy Multiplier one works amazing with clean energy and is great for mornings, or especially hungover mornings
Liquid I.V. is a great option for quick hydration, especially during exercise or illness, with a good mix of electrolytes and vitamins. However, the ingredients may not be ideal for everyone. Each packet contains 11 grams of sugar, which might be too much for those watching their sugar intake. Additionally, the sodium content is on the higher side, which could be a concern for those on low-sodium diets or with specific health conditions. It’s effective but may not be suitable for daily use for everyone.
Love all the flavor variety. So easy to take on the go, tastes great, works well for hydration.
The OG hangover cure lol the market is getting more saturated with electrolyte mixes, but you can never go wrong with the brand that started it all They recently did a rebrand, and that is always appreciated! They made it a lot easier to distinguish between flavors on the packaging.
The lemon 🍋 lime 🍋🟩 flavor tastes great, a little of this packet goes a long way. I used one packet over a course of drinking water and it lasted a long time. I liked it during hiking. Nice and light and easily packable in my snack tote.
This worked really well and I tasted better than any electrolyte powder I’ve tried before. I like that there are a lot of flavors to choose from too!
I like that Liquid I.V. comes in such easy, on the go packaging, and it definitely helps after an intense workout. My only issue with the product is the taste, it's just a bit sugary and tastes a little off.
I love the flavor of these honestly (even though most people think they’re too sweet) but all the additives make these a no-go in our home as we try to be more health conscious.
Must have for any time you are dehydrated. Really make me feel better. The only downside is that they don’t dissolve very well.
I tried the original Liquid I.V. to stay hydrated when traveling and before/after workouts. While the packets are convenient and easily mix with water, I found the high sugar content to consistently cause stomach aches and bloating. I was disappointed by those side effects and had to give away packets.
Way too sweet for me, it feels super weird to drink sweet water. My mom on the other hand loves these. She hates drinking water because she doesn't like the taste, so we buy this with the intention of getting her hydrated and drinking more water throughout the day. I'm pleased to say it works for her and she's fond of the taste. To each their own. If you're into with sugar water, I say go for it.
Great for a placebo effect to tell myself I am recovering from a hangover faster and hydrating myself. Overall I enjoy the flavors and am not against the product. I don't need to add more sugar into my daily life and wish the products incorporated essential vitamins and minerals within the formulation.
I had severely low electrolytes for a while, so I literally drank liquid IV everyday for 3 months. I think a lot of people like the flavor, but I really don’t like how artificial/sweet it is. Kind of wish there was an unflavored liquid IV flavor. Also used liquid IV packets during a hangover and it helped soooo much.

They're amazing when you need to hydrate fast but be warned, they are packed with sugar. They're very travel friendly and I try to keep a packet with me at all times. When I'm flying, these are great to drink while in the air and after landing as they're quick to rehydrate you and leave you feeling much better than before.
One of the best electrolytes I’ve tried yet.
I purchased the lemon-lime. I really disliked the flavor of this product - too salty, too artificial. I have to get the water ice, ice cold to be able to get it down. I do not plan to repurchase. There are alternative options for rehydrating.
