  • I love this in theory, but it didn't work for me in practice. The swab does not pick up matter like a cotton swab would, since it's silicone-tipped. I'm sad because I was hopeful that this would help me reduce waste, but it really isn't used.

  • I've tried the laundry detergent sheets from this brand, and they work well enough for my clothes. My clothes still have that slight "clean clothes" smell even when using these sheets. The price for these sheets is comparable to other brands' detergent sheets. The company overall has a good mission.

  • I purchased LastTissue and really love it! I have a pack in my car and one in my nightstand. The silicone "box" feels great in your hand. It fits 5 reusable tissue/handkerchiefs. You take one out of the bottom slit, use it, and stuff it up top. When you come to the last tissue it has a special tag on it so you know to wash them. I generally wash mine as they are used, but the design is very thoughtful. The tissues are not particularly soft - they are fine for every day use, but if I had a runny nose I would need something softer. I bought several more for friends. I will purchase their full size kleenex replacement when our final box runs out.

The only improvement I would suggest is changing the color on the special tag of the last clean tissue to something other than white. A white tag on a white tissue blends too well.

  • I got both the LastRound and LastSwab through a martie box, which was great. I use a lot of cotton pads for my face and removing makeup. I like that I got the black ones, so they don't feel like they're getting destroyed by black eyeliner. They are pretty absorbent so I worry a little bit about putting expensive product on them, but I'm not sure it's any worse than a cotton round, it just is a different type of material. I also go through a lot of cotton swabs trying to clean up eyeliner and eyeshadow, so I thought the lastswab would be great for that. I don't think that's really its intended purpose to be honest. The rubbery ends make sense for earwax and being able to clean easily, but after one time trying to clean up eyeliner, I can't wash out some of the black left on the end. It also just wasn't as good at those small fixes, but once I've finished up with the cotton swabs I have on hand, I will return to it and give it another shot.

  • I purchased the reusable q-tip for the ear as well as for using it for eyeliner. I did not think they were that effective, and thus not worth the price. They also broke on me.

  • I have their Last Swab which is great but tbh I just don't use that much. I love their LastRound product though - it's great for nail polish removal + removing makeup!

  • I've had my LastSwab for 4 years and it is my trusted sidekick for all my q-tip needs! I've had no issues with it and it has completely stood up to the tests of time.

  • Bought one LastSwab as a Kickstarter backer for the whole family. Overall quite pleased with them although it's a bit challenging to get the kids to keep their swabs clean. Other than that, they're great!

Bit more input about how to maintain/clean the swabs over time and when it's time to replace them.

  • I used the q-tip replacements, both adult and child version, and the facial pads. I have really liked everything I've tried. The swabs are very durable and come in a great little protective case. I have one for home and one for travel. They have both lasted years. The child one is also great for teaching little kids how to remove wax. The pads are great for makeup removal or eye care. Will definitely keep purchasing these in the future instead of standard q-tips or disposable makeup pads.

  • I have tried the last straw and the last swab and I love them both! The swab is even better than disposable swabs and the brand's mission is so amazing!

    N/A- It's perfect!

  • I bought the "cotton" pads from their Kickstarter campaign. I had completely forgotten to choose the color once the campaign has ended and they were very forthcoming with that. As to the actual product, I'm happy with it, though I haven't used it too much recently.

    Feedback

The only drawback for me was that I always washed them by hand after I used them and I couldn't figure out a way to dry the pads after washing that wouldn't feel like I'm just leaving them out and about.

  • I own the last swab Q-tip and I'm a huge fan! I can wash it and dry it and reuse it - it's great quality, replaces so many wasted q-tips, and makes me feel better about using it! The mission of this company is one that aligns with my goals as a consumer and I appreciate the product and how sturdy it is to use and easy it is to clean. I'm a fan!

  • I use their reusable cotton swab which is great, especially when traveling. Reusable cotton pads are of good quality, but the box is not convenient to use at all.

    Feedback

    Very nicely designed.

  • I don’t use my last object “q tip” any longer but I did use it when I was living in a converted van for two years. It was nice because the sustainability factor and maybe it has improved since I bought mine? However the tip just felt sorta flimsy and just didn’t feel as nice as a simple cotton q tip. I’d recommend though if someone was looking to make the switch.

  • We use sticks with the whole family, they work perfectly for us, and disposable ear sticks have disappeared from my shopping list forever.

  • Bought the swab that is specifically for makeup, because when I do my daily eyeliner/mascara I usually need to correct/swipe off a couple places around my eyes. Unfortunately it was really disappointing. It didn't pick up the make up, just smudged it around on my face. Might be good for other use-cases, but if you're looking for something to fix your makeup with this isn't it.

  • I'm looking to try to cut down plastic use further in my life, but that can be intimidating to do all at once (beyond the obvious moves like reusable bags and bottles.). I decided to start with cleaning products and the bathroom, so LastObject seemed like a great place to start. I went for two of their little cotton bud replacements. They're well made, the colours are great, and they do the job. I really struggle with the price point though. I know that you only buy them once, but I don't quite understand how a single bud can be priced at £10.

  • I've bought multiple LastObject products on Kickstarter (and later on Amazon as well) and have settled on a 4 for my review as I absolutely love their travel tissue packs but am less impressed with some of their other products. I cannot say enough good things about their LastTissue - the entire system is so smart - you pull the clean tissues (cotton 'hankies') out of the top and then once you've used it you push it up through a slot in the bottom and there is a silicon slider which separates the dirty ones from the clean. Then once you've finished you just throw the dirty ones in the laundry. I bought an extra pack of the tissues so that I have a set to use while one lot is in the wash. The pack is the same size as a standard pack of travel tissues and the closure works really well. The silicone isn't the kind that dust and dirt stick to so it's nice to keep in your bag and pocket. I have bought several as gifts for family and friends. Now onto the products that I don't love as much - I have the LastSwab and I would describe it as 'fine'. But then I don't know what I was expecting. It is what it is - a silicone swab. I'm not one to use Q-tips as I'm squeamish to stick anything in my ears but I will use this to clear some earwax that's not too far in. But the LastRound was something I was very excited about but have been really disappointed. I use toner every day and don't like to use cotton rounds as I feel that's wasteful. I usually buy bamboo or cotton reusable rounds but I don't like that they're just loose in my bathroom drawer so the idea of the container was very appealing. Unfortunately they were very hard and scratchy, they stained very easily (just from face dirt which none of my other rounds had this issue with) and just got worse with every wash. I think they must have realised this about the staining issue as I see they have now brought out a 'pro' edition where the only difference is that they are black.

    Feedback

Only now as I am looking at the website am I seeing that it says that you should wet the rounds before using and clean right after you're done. So I would recommend that users do this and that LastObject make this more clear on the packaging.

  • I have the LastSwab. The box containing the swab looks nice, is easy to use and is very easy to take with. I like the sustainability angle.

    Feedback

The plastic is not as comfortable as cotton in a regular swab, but still using this bc sustainability.

  • I actually was part of the Kickstarter campaign for this brand, which was super exciting! I have the Last Swab, including the makeup version. I find them both really useful and easy to clean.

    Feedback

The only downside to the makeup swab is that some eyeliner has kinda stained the white rubber.
