  • Striking, elevated packaging design
  • Complex, herbal flavor profiles
  • Relaxing, mood-lifting experiences reported
  • Versatile for sober social rituals
  • Harsh, bitter taste complaints
  • Inconsistent functional effects
  • Overly aggressive carbonation
  • Short post-open bottle freshness

Kin Euphorics wins praise in reviews for stylish packaging and complex, herbal flavors like Kin Spritz, Lightwave, Bloom, and Actual Sunshine, but the brand divides on efficacy: some feel relaxed, uplifted, or subtly “buzzed,” while many report no noticeable effects. Reviewers highlight sophisticated, bitter-leaning taste profiles and enjoyable sober-social rituals as strengths, while recurrent complaints include harsh or acquired flavors (especially Spritz/Lightwave), inconsistent effects, and issues like overpowering carbonation or short post-open shelf life for bottles.

  • Tried both their day and night products. They taste fine. It kind of makes my heart race. These types of drinks have been quite trendy in the past few years. I’m not sure how much research goes into the ratio of the ingredients.

  • gorgeous branding and unboxing! i tried both kin spritz and lightwave. not a big fan of the flavors/taste of either of them, but I did feel the intended effects after drinking!

i just wish they tasted better!!!

  • Tastes much better than competitors on the market. Also cool packaging and marketing job on social media sites.

Better brand recognition and flavors !

  • I had their seltzer cans - personally, I didn't like how bitter it tasted. definitely something I don't see myself drinking again. But! I was really surprised at how it made me feel! I felt buzzed??! it was super confusing but fun to experiment with, given that there's no alcohol in it!!

  • Kin is everything it says it is. I have tried all of their products, and I love them. The bitter canned cocktail is a great sipping drink, and both of the spirits lend themselves well to the creation of mocktails. The nighttime spirit packs a punch of melatonin which really can be felt, so definitely good for easing into the night hours. I sleep like a rock when I drink it.

The products ship with a ton of packaging. It's glass so, I get it, but it's a bummer and seems a bit wasteful.

  • I tried High Rhode. It's a nice thing to mix with ginger ale (doesn't taste good on its own) and it's a nice subtle pick me up but I wouldn't say it's mindblowing. Barely-there mood enhancer.

  • I have tried Actual Sunshine, great flavor but noticeable results? Not really. And I would like to mention all the cans have some horrible plastic covering them, so this must be removed if you want to recycle them. Kind of lame. I hate this practice. Many companies are covering cans, an infinitely recyclable material, with plastic now. Enraging. I don't have enough to do, thanks. I also tried Kin Spritz, not so tasty and Lightwave. Neither was interesting to me. The last offering I have tried and am still using is Dream Light. I purchased it through an online retailer that has rotating selection of discounted products and did not pay what the Kin website sells it for. It is worth the price I paid, however I would not be purchasing it for what it sells for on the website itself. It does work. I really enjoy the relaxing effects and the taste is pretty good. I would definitely buy it again if I come across it on sale once more. But I have teas at a fraction of the price that have similar effects and melatonin gummies are not that expensive. So overall, just one of the items I tried, Dream Light in a glass bottle as well, is a winner. But only if it's on sale.

  • I absolutely love Kin Euphorics. Their beverages offer a unique and delightful experience, combining great taste with mood-enhancing benefits. The carefully crafted ingredients and innovative approach make Kin Euphorics stand out in the crowded beverage market. It’s my go-to choice for a refreshing and uplifting drink.

  • I originally bought a bottle as an option for mocktails that have a little more complexity when trying to cut back on my alcohol consumption. I do think I feel a slight buzz/mood boost from the original Kin mixer, though that might be placebo. That being said, it tastes TERRIBLE. I can cover it up well enough if I use the bottled version and get creative with my mixology, but the spritz version in a can does not cover the taste at all, and covering up the taste sort of defeats the purpose of having a more complex mocktail experience. The price is also really expensive - $5 a serving before tax if you get the bottle, which is a lot more expensive than just using bitters in my mocktail. Idk - this is a cool idea, but not something I think I'll be purchasing regularly.

  • Too earthy for my taste, but I can see how others would like something this flavor. Tried it at a party and I didn't feel anything after one can.

  • Love the packaging and the idea behind the brand! The taste wasn't bad by any means but it also wasn't great, so for the price it's just not something I would reach for often. Didn't feel any effects really, but I only tried one flavor so far.

  • I liked it, though some of the flavors have a bit of a soapy aftertaste

  • Branding is cool and trendy but I didn't loveeee the flavor (Actual Sunshine). It wasn't bad but wasn't good enough to repurchase considering the price. I have a few incase friends want a mocktail or aren't drinking, so positive that it looks cute on the bar cart and I have it as an option for guests, but I won't be drinking any more of them.

  • I tried the Rising Flow flavor and actually thought it tasted pretty good. However, I felt no physical difference whatsoever. Seems like branding and celebrity may be carrying this one.

  • Love the bloom flavor, not sold on the others yet. The cans are great and the bottle is just okay.

Flavors could have been better but overall satisfying!

  • I am obsessed with Kin Bloom! The original Kin isn’t a fave for me but that’s a personal taste preference. As someone who doesn’t drink, this is a great alternative that’s still fun, cool, and different.

    Feedback

More fruity/floral options and less bitter/herby for more flavor diversity and added sweetness for those who want it!

  • Saw a bunch of these cans for sale at a kiosk at an airport recently and had to give it a try. The flavor was pretty okay, nothing to rave about, but there were lots of tasty sounding flavor options so I had a hard time picking one out. While I drank this, I definitely felt a slight "buzz", or maybe just a noticeable wave of relaxation come over me. But as I was drinking it, I realized maybe there is an ingredient in it that I'm not supposed to mix with the antidepressants I'm on. After some google searches, I quickly learned NOT to consume Kin while on SSRI's/SNRI's, etc. I soon got a headache and felt super weird for the rest of the day.

    Feedback

I wish there was more emphasis on who should/shouldn't be consuming these drinks ON the can.

  • I tried the Lightwave by Kin Euphorics and loved it the first time, largely for the calming effect. The taste was a bit too sweet for me, but if you like that, you may enjoy it more. After the first time, I did not get the same effect but is a nice alternative to alcohol.

    Feedback

More flavor options for the different beverage types would be a nice addition.

  • Not bad! Expected the taste to be a turn-off, but it was quite herbal and refreshing. Tasted like a less sweetened version of Yerba Mate and gave me a mood-boosting caffeine buzz, with less of the jitters and anxiety. Didn't feel drunk like others might have.

    Feedback

I honestly like everything about it, but don't think I'd pay ~$5 for each can considering how small they are.

  • I am always looking for alcohol alternatives (I'm a minimal drinker) and so was really excited to try Kin. The branding is beautiful, and the cans are perfect for sipping on. That said, I didn't love the flavor. I tried the Kin Spritz and it was a bit too bitter for my taste. I didn't hate it, but I also didn't finish it.
