FabFitFun offers a delightful unboxing experience with full-sized, quality products from new brands like Ana Luisa and OUAI, adding a touch of luxury and excitement to the holiday season. However, the brand has been criticized for its lack of customization and targeted products, as well as billing and customer service issues.

I have worked with multiple brands who have featured their products in FFF boxes. I am constantly and pleasantly surprised by how stocked these boxes are. However, the branding is not for me and it is certainly dated. Between the box designs and the fonts does not represent the products in the light that should be shown on them! I do appreciate how they give full products, and highlight every brand properly. Such an impressive concept.

Branding, brand imagery, paid ads, could use an upgrade to properly reflect how cool this concept actually is.

I would sum this box up as TJ Maxx in a box. It used to be packed so beautifully and full of can't get them anywhere else exclusive products. Now FFF has turned into a disjointed, no clear themed, terrible customer service with little to no follow through box. For example, you think you get to pick items in your box. And you think you are indeed doing that. Then your box comes and it has nothing you picked or that was even offered in it. Annual members--meaning you shelled out $180 up front for 4 boxes-- are supposed to be able to choose items first, but halfway through their shady billing cycle for each season they add in a ton of new products to pick that are better than the first run. That makes being an annual member a disadvantage of sorts, if you follow. When it was FFF or PopSugar's Must Have Box, PopSugar's nbox won every time. With FFF, I have had nothing but trouble with billing, customer service, subscription issues, shipping issues, etc. The boxes that one has chic themes seasonally now look like a TJ Maxx clearance end cap with whatever they have laying around thrown in and the packaging that once seemed like a Christmas Present too pretty to unwrap has been reduced to a bunch of items you did not pick--even though you think you can pick items--thrown into a box, with a bunch of brown packing paper. I don't know what the brand's issue is or what direction they're trying to go, but they need to go back to basics. I have tried to cancel my subscription many times, I sometimes go back, but in the end, dealing with their customer service is not worth the hassle.

cutomer service and brand's direction need an entire overhaul. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Really loved this in the beginning but there were a couple of times that I've gotten repeats of past products.

The FabFitFun box journey showed me that not all subscription boxes are a perfect fit. Mixed contents and unresponsive customer service dimmed the experience. In a nutshell, my FabFitFun reality was a reminder that authenticity matters, and not every box is a flawless escape. Here’s hoping this insight helps others navigate their self-care quests. 🛍️💔 #HonestFabFitFun

I've been getting a fabfitfun box for 2 years now & I love that I get the opportunity to try new things that I wouldn't ordinarily purchase. I typically stick to the hair and beauty products, however I have gotten some great home items ad well. I've never received anything in poor condition & I've actually ended up purchasing more from some of the brands I've tried. I'm an annual member, so I can prepick my box before others and have access to sales first, but if you don't have an annual membership you are picking after others and do run the risk of the better items being sold out. I've even picked things so I can gift them to others.

Definitely a one time thing- maybe twice. I was able to use maybe one or two items from the boxes I got. It's a neat concept, but there's just no way to execute it and make the majority of customers happy. Plus, you have to deal with cancelling and all that. Not worth it at all.

Ues the same money and buy the one or two products you've been wanting.

As a longtime user of FFF (and previously PopSugar Must Have), I have to appreciate how FFF has kept up with an innovative customer experience that makes tiers feel special. As an annual member, you unlock different customizations and add ons early. From a product standpoint, it has become hit or miss for me and I spend more time picking to ensure value (both quality, uniqueness and financially) from the brands I'm adding.

I would recommend making the dates and countdowns more straightforward. As a passive or inexperienced user, this can be overwhelming and confusing.

I subscribed for one year. Each box was fun to open and look through, but in the end I wouldn't have purchased each of the items that were sent so it seemed silly to keep paying to receive a box of items I'd just never use.

I bought my daughter a gift at an annual subscription to Fab, Fit, Fun 4 years ago for her birthday and that's all she's wanted ever since. Every year I ask if she wants something different but she is adamant that I keep gifting her this subscription. The products she gets are awesome, and sometimes she even gives some back to me :) We really love the way you can personalize what you're getting, and change things around if you're not perfectly happy with what will be in your box. Birthdays sorted for as long as they're still in business!

As far as subscription boxes go, I do tend to prefer FFF over the rest but think they're really hit or miss on getting great options in for members to pick/receive. I've seen boxes contain things that I couldn't make choices on or wanted it ALL, but I've also seen some contain repeats or products that most likely don't sell well.. From time to time I'll def still sign up for FFF but I wouldn't get the annual again. They do have great customer service at least if anything is wrong with your box.

Fun to receive as a gift from my boyfriend! The products start out really amazing at first but then it gets repetitive and you end up with a bunch of stuff you don’t need. I would recommend as a short term gift, but not as a consistent purchase for yourself. One thing I disliked was that my boyfriend paid for a year long subscription, and if I didn’t proactively cancel my subscription when I knew the year was up, it would have automatically kept charging him for new boxes. I feel like it should have prompted me to update to my own billing info if I wanted to keep going, otherwise I could have taken advantage of the gift giver’s credit card staying on file!

I only ordered the starter box to start the subscription, which was I think $5.00 and then I would receive 1 box every month and my credit card would be billed $62. I saw the $62 charge on my credit card a month later, however I never received the starter box. I called the company to cancel the subscription and told them that I never received the starter box. They were very accommodating and sent out another starter box right away. They said I could start up the subscription again if I am happy with the box. I was not happy with the box….I did get a full size scrub for my hair (not even sure what that is) and a nice oil decanter and some sort of mini sized embroidery kit. Maybe if I liked the starter box I would have gotten another, but I could not use any of those. My girlfriend subscribed and received clothing, shampoos, conditioners and things like that, unfortunately I did not.

I love the idea of subscription boxes and receiving them in the mail is so fun. I did enjoy FabFitFun while I had it, but the products weren’t always things I wanted or needed and it was an unnecessary expense for me. I ended up switching to a different box that had more sustainable products, but eventually quit that one too because it felt like it was promoting a culture of consumption.

More products from sustainable/ethical companies and from small businesses and artisans.

I have tried to order this subscription box 3 different times. I have never gotten the items worth getting and end up getting a bunch of lower end items I don't want. I feel consistently bait and switched with this box. I mean the box looks great when ive seen them online but so far Ive yet to get any of the cool stuff. Could be great though and at a decent price.

A lot of people complain about FFF subscriptions. Years ago I had FFF when they first came out and I thought they really sucked. In 2020, I re-subscribed and consistently have been excited about my boxes, the add-on options, and edit sales etc. They’ve been expanding the selection from a ton of beauty items to home goods, more fitness, and a wide variety of other options and free samples in boxes. Some brands that I’ve wanted to try but wanted to wait for a sale have popped up in the edit and add-on sales and I’ve gotten great deals to try items. I also found a new skincare items that I’ve been using non-stop that I love from Graydon. FFF introduced me to quite a few brands that I enjoy!

Absolutely love FabFitFun! I've been a subscriber since 2018 and have been really impressed with improvements to the box in that time. The customer service is also AMAZING - best customer service I've ever encountered of any company.

There was a point during covid/supply chain issue time that the box had disappointing items and a lot of repeats from past seasons. Luckily that's passed now!

I subscribed for a couple months. The boxes are initially fun to open- you get a lot of things that you usually wouldn't think to buy for yourself. After a while, the excitement kind of wore off and I was more concerned with the build up of unused products in my bathroom drawer. There were more misses than hits for me personally, and receiving each product at a full size amount became a detriment because I hate throwing away unused products- I ended up giving away a ton. I could see FabFitFun being genuinely helpful for people that are interested in skincare/ selfcare(?) and having no idea where to start, but wouldn't recommend for those who already have a greater idea of the products that work for them.
