Cards Against Humanity wins big in reviews for delivering uproarious, easy-to-learn party play that sparks belly laughs, quick bonding, and late-night chaos—especially with larger groups and expansion packs—so yes, it works. Reviews also flag clear drawbacks: humor can be crass/NSFW and alienating for sensitive or mixed-age crowds, cards lose shock value with repetition, and some prompts feel dated or hard to play with certain audiences.

This is a great adult game! Must have for parties but in a bigger group setting. Though this game can get boring if this is played for longer than 2 hours but some people can't get bored. This is just a personal opinion. Also this is boring if you play with only 3 people. You need at least 6 or more to make this interesting.
I usually played the cards in highschool when it was almost time for spring break or the end of the year we would play the card game and laugh.
always a fun time with friends, love that you can mix & match boxes to keep the game fresh
Although I do like the option of extension packs, I feel like this game got and gets old very quickly. It is only suggested by people who think that cursing and "dark humor" makes them cool. I will though give props to the company. I think the work that they are doing to put their money in places that matter is really cool and not something we see so often from larger companies.
love a good spicy card game to play with friends! CAH is a staple of ours and is always a fun time. Expansion packs are worth the investment as well.

I don't get it. I don't see what is funny, clever, or challenging about using canned responses to questions.
I feel like after you play it once of twice it's not that fun anymore.

Different cards, different themes not all just as raunchy as can be
I got this for Christmas one year and played w my very serious father. It was a fantastic time, I’ve never seen him laugh like that! It’s a great way to break the ice if you’re okay w a little bit of awkward.
I love this game bc it’s so political and controversial and no one is safe when we play this with my friends! I love the little prompts and the stupid responses we can pick from loll, please make another pack for covid
Easy choice for a party game, assuming you know the attendees (and their sense of humor) well, since you don't need a certain number of people and the rules can be immediately grasped.
Such a fun game to play with a group of friends. The game is always different and super hilarious. Get yours for a game night to remember.
This is so fun! Played with a group of friends and had a ball! Great for game night or couples night! If you want a lot of fun in a small inexpensive box- this is the way to go!
I love Cards Against Humanity! This is such a fun game for friends and family. I would highly recommend you play for yourself!
Great game, it never gets dull or boring. Have had it for years, and its such a replayable game especially with different friend groups.
So funny!
such a fun game - cards are creative and also love that you can buy expansion packs
A really fun game to break the ice with people but make sure you have the right crowd! Some of the jokes can be inappropriate of course but I think it's fun!
This game is most fun when you play with people you know well. It's definitely not for everyone though because it can get a bit raunchy.
Phenomenal party game. Cannot recommend playing with parents but highly recommend playing with friends. Focus on the person judging's specific sense of humor...
I always have fun when I play this game with my friends. My favorite is the nasty bundle
